19/04/2026: I am generally not someone who leaves negative reviews, but the way the owner responded to us afterwards made me feel it was necessary to speak up. During our 9-day trip in Italy, we visited many restaurants and had mostly very positive experiences. Unfortunately, this was the only place where the overall experience “from food quality to attitude” felt very uncomfortable. We ordered a seafood pasta and a lasagna. The lasagna was acceptable, but when the seafood pasta was served, we immediately noticed a strong smell that did not seem right. We politely asked whether it would be possible to change the dish, explaining that we were not trying to cause trouble but genuinely felt the smell was unusual. Instead of handling the situation professionally, we were met with dismissive reactions, including eye-rolling and a visibly unfriendly attitude from staff and the owner. Despite feeling uncomfortable, we still paid for the meal and left. Later, we left a 1-star review simply reflecting our dining experience. What followed was the owner began posting personal and inappropriate responses online, including comments about nationality and remarks suggesting we were not welcome. Regardless of differing opinions about food, personal attacks towards customers are never acceptable. Some of our previous reviews were removed after being reported. I hope this review can remain visible so future customers can make their own judgement.
