27/07/2024: A delight! The quality of the food and wine is there, and the service is top notch. The pasta was excellent. Intimate place and charming setting, away from the resorts and other hotels on the island. I recommend for a visit to Ischia!

11/08/2024: Abbiamo passato una serata magica, cenato all’interno sulle note del pianoforte, personale simpaticissimo e gentile, coniglio ottimo! Vengo a ischia da 30 e credo sia uno dei migliori che ho provato. Location magica

09/08/2024: Location sufficiente, pochi tavoli allestiti con tovaglia, la maggior parte invece con tovagliato. Personale gentile ed educato. Le proposte dei piatti interessanti purtroppo la materia prima un po meno che sufficiente e così anche l'esecuzione degli stessi. Delusi dalle linguine cozze con pesto di limone, troppo olio, il limone si sentiva a stento il pesto sembrava confezionato,;i fusilli con zucchine, stracciatella mousse di patate e crumble di parmigiano , anche questo piatto ci ha delusi...non c'erano le patate e il crumble, le zucchine non erano croccanti e sembrava fossero state condite con aceto che stonava con la stracciata; i ravioli con datterini e melenzane nella media rovinati dalla presenza dall'eccesiva presenza di passata di pomodoro e solo due datterini;l'antipasto della casa buono, il polpo con patate nella media; le patatine fritte troppo unte e troppo salate.;pizza al pomodoro esecuzione sufficiente.

16/08/2024: Excellent is an understatement…. Everything was delicious, we are on holiday in Ischia and we had dinner here twice as we liked it so much!! I highly recommend it

16/08/2024: Pleasant atmosphere, excellent cuisine. Too bad for the apathy, carelessness and inhospitality of the service, the only reason why I wouldn't return. It wouldn't take much.

07/08/2024: Very good restaurant. Excellent value for money with very generous dishes. We had a great time and highlight the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Sea view with reservation or with luck.

30/07/2024: It's not a classy restaurant. Once you share this you find yourself in a fantastic location. The view of Sant'Angelo is breathtaking, the approach is informal. Top quality/price ratio. If you don't have excessive demands, it's worth a try.

12/08/2024: The place is very nice, the staff friendly and helpful. My son saw a video on Facebook, we got curious and we went... Roast chicken with potatoes, croquettes, and 2 different sandwiches, one chosen by us and one from the menu. Everything in practical takeaway containers... the chicken with potatoes was good, but the sandwiches and croquettes were super! And after years, they are still the Top!

08/08/2024: Small place but definitely worth a try! The service was excellent, all the staff were quick and kind. Excellent sandwiches with excellent quality ingredients, large portions and abundant choice... Good value for money! Very recommended!

20/08/2024: Great little spot in the middle of town - I would highly recommend the pizzas (simple Marinara or Diavola were our choices) and large glasses of vino! The prices were unbelievable ….

08/08/2024: In una pizzeria mi aspetto educazione , cortesia , ordine e pulizia . E magari una pizza digeribile . Ma forse sono sono dei miei desideri . De gustibus…… 🤷‍♂️

21/08/2024: Di nuovo qui dopo quasi 10 anni e il tempo non sembra passato per La Sciavica. Ottima accoglienza, ottimo il cibo in qualità e preparazione. Prezzo adeguato, d’altra parte siamo nell’isola di Ischia ad agosto…Pranzo e cena sempre disponibili. Da tenere sempre presenti

06/08/2024: Great restaurant!! We were there for almost 5 hours and were served very well during that long time (not too intrusive but not too little either)...The price was absolutely right but the portions could be a bit larger...very nice waiters and good wine

22/08/2024: Con la voglia di chi approda nel nido culinario di una specialità prenotiamo un tavolo per gustare la famosa zingara ischitana nella sua più profonda origine. Ci arriva un panino con provola e pomodoro ed alle nostre rimostranze siamo stati liquidati con un secco "noi la facciamo così" e dietrofront lasciandoci di stucco. Come andare a Napoli ordinare la pizza ed arrivano gli ingredienti sulla piadina. Ovviamente ci aspettavamo almeno che ci avvisassero prima che c'era una importante e fondamentale variante. Probabilmente e mi auguro avessero finito il pane che forma il crostone fondamentale per quella specialità che siamo poi andata a mangiare altrove. Imbarazzante, ordinate altro e fatemi sapere se trovate nel piatto ciò che vi aspettate.....

21/08/2024: Ogni volta che torniamo ad Ischia siamo venuti sempre volentieri. Questa volta l'organizzazione è venuta meno. Dalla comanda sbagliata, da menù oltre all'antipasto ordiniamo lasagna e paccheri salsiccia provola e melanzane e dei contorni, arrivano pasta al forno e parmigiana con il primo contorno, decidiamo di soprassedere sulla pasta al forno ma aspettiamo i paccheri che arrivano col secondo contorno, risultato mia moglie mangia prime ed io dopo. A chidere l'esperienza mi sono dovuto alzare alla ricerca di un cameriere per una seconda bottiglia d'acqua.

13/08/2024: 5 stars for these reasons: - they will pick you up with the shuttle to avoid the bump of the climb (if you are on foot) - poor but very genuine cuisine, made the most of by the skill of their chefs. Nothing particularly sophisticated but every dish was the bomb: the parmigiana was exquisite, the peppers were perfect. - their crocchè was sensational, fried as God commands (so it is not at all greasy and the breading is very crunchy). They could have offered us bitters as the icing on the cake but this doesn't detract from a good 10

25/08/2024: The restaurant is ideally located on the beach. It benefits from a beautiful terrace. The service is fast and efficient. The spaghetti al cozze (mussels) are excellent, the tuna salad very fresh. A special mention for their well-measured Spritz.

25/08/2024: The dinner was not worth the money at all (a plate of seafood and local wine cost 44 euros), the salted fish in batter was dubious, it felt like it was a portion that was rejected because the batter was cold. Indicated for two, but the portion is not large.

05/08/2024: Was there twice with mixed impressions. The food is overall good as long as you stick to the pasta dishes. The service is rather poor. Prices are fair.

21/07/2024: Good food, medium-high prices, service to be reviewed, there were several errors (they made a mistake with a first course, instead of bringing spaghetti, clams and lupins they brought with clams and we had expressed the desire to evaluate a second course but as soon as we finished the first courses they left us cleared everything away without asking us anything). Given the vast choice at the same price, and the good but not outstanding cuisine, I wouldn't go back.
