01/07/2025: The best eggplant parmigiana I’ve ever had in my life (coming from a vegetarian who always orders this dish everywhere). The family who owns the place is so sweet. We went for lunch and dinner (it was that good), and neither disappointed. Their house wine selection was also delicious (we tried all of them), and the atmosphere is exactly what you would wish a place like this to look like. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you for the hospitality, for the dedication at what you do, and for keeping your roots. Grazie mille 🫶🏻

30/06/2025: Fantastic discovery on the advice of a friend.... bucolic setting above the heads of the guests, lots of lemons that didn't fall during dinner! Excellent food

01/07/2025: Food is absolutely delicious! Very welcoming staff, you can literally specify or ask them anything and they will happily help you! 2 years later edit: Well, the food is as good as I remember it. Bruschetta with that REAL olive oil and those delicious cherry tomatoes. The Panini and spaghetti are as good as I remember them. The reason I gave 2 stars for the atmosphere is that it's loud from the customers, but then comes the owner and adds up to it, being even louder. For the service, I'd give 5, even 6 stars to the twins (the owner's sons), because they are so patient and helpful and just have such an overall positive vibe. But, for the owner, I just can't - it's just so obvious that he is tired, he gets angry a lot, sometimes even screams. The owner puts on a fake smile and the second he leaves the table he grunts like he wants to strangle you - he forces the younger waiters to keep asking you to get a dessert or drinks, to ramp up the bill - he tries so hard that it's just annoying (he should just retire and leave it to the twins). Don't get me wrong, during this stay, we dined there 3 times and also got 2 Panini's as take-away, I just think that the owner should gracefully retire, especially since I've seen him make younger couples feel highly uncomfortable, with his blunt and kinda rude "jokes"

27/06/2025: Restaurant and pizzeria on the road to Sant'Angelo a Panza. Excellent traditional cuisine, fresh fish, the best pizza I've eaten on the island. Very kind staff and owners, excellent value for money, I recommend it!!

10/06/2025: Fomos muito bem recepcionados e atendidos no La Tinaia. A cozinha ainda não estava aberta para o jantar, apenas a pizzaria, ainda assim pudemos nos sentar e escolher no cardápio o que iríamos pedir. O restaurante tem muitas opções de pratos com peixe fresco e, os que escolhemos, estavam muito bem servidos e saborosos. Pedimos o vinho branco da casa, que não decepcionou. Excelente custo/benefício, assim como todo o cardápio, que tem preços módicos para o padrão de Ischia. Gostamos bastante e durante a nossa estadia, ainda voltamos mais vez para experimentar outros pratos.

08/06/2025: An excellent restaurant with an incredible setting. We were lucky enough to eat there for lunch with just the two of us on the terrace, and it was by far our best experience of our vacation in terms of taste and setting!! This panoramic terrace is out of a dream of the Italian countryside with its view of the vineyards and the sea. If I had only one recommendation to make between Naples, Ischia and Procida I would recommend this restaurant.

22/06/2025: I chose only a side dish of dressed escarole salad and mussels with tomato sauce and croutons. The escarole was very good but most of the walnuts were half black and dried out (evidently the walnuts are taken directly from the bag without even being selected when in theory for a restaurant of this level they should be opened fresh and selected in my opinion); the mussels were excellent but few but the downfall was the croutons: small rectangles and not crunchy because they were prepared the day before. I think the chef should reconsider... The crunchiness but above all the freshness of the croutons makes the difference. Upon notification, the waiters apologized on behalf of the chef and offered me the wine I ordered.

17/06/2025: On the island for a weekend, we were invited to lunch at this restaurant that I did not know, the place is located in the beautiful bay of San Francesco near the beach of the same name, attentive service, tasty food, elegant and quiet environment, pure relaxation for a Sunday lunch in excellent company. Congratulations and good work.

11/06/2025: It's really great, I had one of the best pastas of my life here. We found it on Google, it was close to our hotel. We even went back on our last night because everything was so delicious.

25/05/2025: Torniamo qui perché volevamo una conferma la abbiamo avuta alla grande.Sempre un ambiente accogliente con un servizio in sala attento ai dettagli, e poi una cena ottima coccolati dall'inizio alla fine il pesce alla brace delicatissimo le linguine alle vongole con datterino gialle divine , come il resto dessert, vino da dolce il tutto very ok.

06/05/2025: Il posto è sempre accogliente, raffinato seppur semplice. Il servizio è top. Fantastica la tartare di ricciola e il pescato del giorno e’ una certezza. Carta dei vini ottima, curata da un perfetto sommelier. Prezzo giusto.

24/05/2025: The MOST delicious and super fresh tomato mozzarella and tuna bruschetta of my life!!! Was not expecting this quality of food. Homemade limoncello is fantastic as well - also had it in spritz form. I’ll be coming back again tomorrow. One of the best things I’ve eaten in 3 weeks in Italy. Prices are also extremely affordable considering the other surrounding restaurants. Amazing!!!! Thank you 🙏 🍅 💓

From the moment you park your car/scooter or arrive to the area where La Ruota is located, it feels like a different and more authentic place on the island, full of locals enjoying the last rays of sun, families and older people chatting casually on the street. The food - fantastic! We had to have another portion of the fried anchovies (alici) - they were divine! Generous portions full of flavor and taste, overall, this place is underrated and deserves the best review. Great service too - always ready with a smile and a joke! A

11/02/2025: We didn't know where to eat and they recommended this restaurant to us and I must say that it is excellent, the food is good, the waiters are polite, cordial, gentle, excellent quality and good prices, nothing exaggerated. And I recommend the polpo e patate.
