17/01/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was excellent. The prices were reasonable and the service impeccable. The view was magnificent. I'm surprised by the negative reviews; the prices are much more affordable than some French restaurants, and the recommendations were very helpful. The dishes we chose cost around €25 each. My husband ordered a meat dish for €27, but he couldn't finish it because it was such a generous portion. We will definitely return. Fresh, high-quality ingredients. 07/01/2026: Friendly service. A huge selection of alcoholic beverages, both wines and spirits. The view from the windows is beautiful. There's a small parking lot on site and a large restaurant garden.

30/01/2026: Lunch experience on January 29, 2026: Like many tourists, I imagine, we were just passing through the town of Massa Lubrense. Feeling hungry and needing a lunch break, we found this restaurant. At first, we thought it was closed. But no! Although there were no other customers inside, a man greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in and seated us at a table. It felt strange to be the only customers in what was, after all, a fairly large restaurant. But we're starting to get used to seeing empty places in Campania during the winter. Besides, I imagine they're trying to save a bit on heating costs, because it was a little chilly in the restaurant. But once we got over our initial reservations, we have to admit we had a really great meal! The cheese and tomato appetizer was not only excellent, but also a generous portion, and our gnocchi in tomato sauce was a pure delight and a good size too! Thank you for this lovely lunch break! 09/03/2026: Saturday night I ordered a 2-meter pizza One Margherita And 2 half-meters Sausage and broccoli rabe and prosciutto, arugula, and parmesan Everything completely inedible Dry, burnt, and completely meaningless Really strange because I've had quite good food in the past I'm sorry, but throwing away more than 50 euros like this is simply not an option So never again 😌

28/09/2025: Very friendly staff! The atmosphere is good, but we felt they're more focused on cocktails and beer. Still, the glass of wine was good, and €5 per glass is reasonable for the quality and quantity.

12/10/2025: I came today around 11pm with my partner (being Saturday it closes at 2am) I found myself on a hill full of potholes and I found the place closed, without any notice on social media or outside, nor a light or anything, I followed the instructions of the navigator, I drove 28 minutes for nothing, I tried to call but it said that the number was not available, the messages on WhatsApp only loaded a bar, bitterly disappointed

There was a visible layer of dust under the placemats, a sign of total neglect. The decor is dated and outdated, lacking any charm. The food was disappointing: the dishes were excessively greasy and of poor quality. The bill also seemed unjustified for the quality, with prices significantly overpriced. Chaos and disorder reigned supreme. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant; there are many others that are truly worth it.

16/10/2025: There are places between the volcano and the sea... between fire and water where time seems suspended and it is in suspended time that we often "refresh" ourselves... Antico Ricupo is a place where, among food, good wine, professionalism and friendliness, you can spend a day far away and "suspended" from the hectic routine of everyday life... Ad Majora!

27/08/2025: I was there last night, they greeted me with long faces, terrible service and very high prices, not to mention the food, frozen pizzas that were not specified and that were paid for, the waitress was very rude and then not to mention the whispers between the waiters insulting us customers for bothering them by ordering various things

03/01/2026: Surprisingly decent margherita pizza before touring Herculeneum historical site. Fast service and very reasonably priced.
