13/12/2024: Evening with friends, I tasted one of their specialties, the pork shank, and I found it nothing short of fabulous, I love this place which combines the world of the restaurant, pizzeria and pub with excellent quality and really modest prices, family-run, there are I have already been there other times or just for a pizza, or for the kebabs which I recommend, the environment is welcoming and particular, there is a large car park, the owner is too nice, in short I recommend it to spend a different evening with friends or family

10/09/2023: My husband and I stumbled upon it by chance and were pleasantly surprised. Even though the staff was overwhelmed for a baptism, we were welcomed and served immediately. Lunch was typical of the place and plentiful. The bill was not excessive but what was most pleasing was the friendliness of the staff and the kindness of the manager. I absolutely recommend it.

25/06/2024: I came to Cepagatti during my summer holidays, specifically to visit this splendid work. I had already browsed through some photos, but obviously being able to see it in person was a much greater emotion. It is an ancient building, built on the remains of an important Roman villa, which was built and modified in several periods, from 1600 to 1800. What is immediately striking is first of all the extraordinary level of conservation of each architectural element: the body central part of the castle, the dominant tower and the adjacent chapel as well as the arches, the characteristic battlements and the balconies. An unmistakable distinctive sign of this building, although not very relevant from an artistic point of view, is the decoration in the upper part, made with sequential circles of different colours. Passing in front of the facade and going around the ancient complex, it seems to be in the period of greatest splendor of the town, well represented by the numerous murals on the walls of the surrounding houses. Probably few know this beautiful village and unfortunately having little consideration for a town that does not possess a high number of historical elements is a sadly common curse and many truly magnificent places risk often being overshadowed; this is why we must have particular admiration for those who possess the patience and dedication in valorising these precious historical-cultural heritages. Given the notable proximity (the people of Pescara don't mind me, given the well-known archaic rivalry...), you can also consider visiting Chieti, a city rich in history. I only have one modest negative consideration to make: unfortunately some trees severely limit the view of the castle, right on the side of the main facade and it would therefore be appropriate to remove them or at least prune them radically (thousands of them are cut down, everywhere and for no reason and wanting to leave these right here in front intact would not be ideal). I hope to be able to visit this magnificent building also inside, which is not yet possible at the moment but overall I was very satisfied with this discovery.

20/08/2024: Disorganized, terrible service. I would add that it is shameful to say that at 8pm they no longer make pizzas... at 7.40pm they didn't want to make us pizza when the service said until 8pm, as confirmed on the phone. Plus, the forgetting continues...

14/06/2024: At dinner with some friends and honestly I'm spoiled for choice where to start because all the various aspects are worthy of (negative) note like the terrible stench that can also be smelled inside the restaurant. I understand the horses but in my opinion perhaps they are too close to the accommodation facility, I would pass on the terrible food both qualitatively and quantitatively, not to mention the miserable table service and the arrogance and arrogance of Mr. Palozzo from the series if you like it this is it if you don't like it this is it too;
. ...and last but not least, when it's time to pay, another nice (negative) surprise.
Jokes aside, I strongly advise against this establishment for anyone looking for good food and a welcoming and friendly environment; as far as I'm concerned "never never again"
23/04/2024: Easter Monday: limited menu, shameful appetizer, a small plate with a slice of salami, a loin and two pickles, the hot ones not received. In addition to the disappointment with the food, there is the arrogance of the owner. I don't recommend it.

06/08/2023: The restaurant is in a secluded area with a refined style and few seats.
The price of the wines is excellent and the cuts are good.
The menu is really a bit too basic without even a first or second vegetarian option.
In fact, more than a tavern, it would be a pinseria/hamburger shop.
The house cutting board is a little expensive with a disproportionate price compared to that of the second courses.
This meant that, for a starter and half a second course, I paid €35.
Other than that, a couple of niggles.
The first in service.
After an appetizer that also includes pickled vegetables, the dish should be changed.
The second in the main course.
If I take a cut of meat with BBQ sauce I expect it to be generously glazed, but instead the sauce was only noticeable in a few bites.
I went there with some expectations so I left quite disappointed if not completely dissatisfied.
