11/08/2025: If I could give the service a sixth star, I would gladly do so. We were treated with care and attention from the very beginning by Piero, a wonderful person. Another pleasant surprise was Luigi's cuisine, which delighted us both at breakfast and dinner.
What can I say? With such attention to guests, even the small and normal imperfections of the hotel go completely unnoticed... thank you for everything.
02/08/2025: Mr. Piero was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to offer advice and fulfill requests. Kudos also to chef Luigi, who delighted us every evening with delicious, varied, simple, and authentic dishes. The hotel was simple, clean, and comfortable. Giacomina the bear, who even walked by our window one night, was a real treat.

28/07/2025: È il secondo anno di fila che torno a Villetta Barrea e la tappa ormai è diventata d'obbligo, il ristorante è centralissimo, location calorosa e casareccia, lo staff è gentilissimo e Mauro veramente simpatico e disponibile, il cibo è favoloso, sono ritornato per le tagliatelle con scaglie di tartufo e sono fantastiche!!! Consiglio vivamente a tutti!

We booked almost by chance, intrigued by the rich and promising menu... and we can say with certainty that it was a more than perfect choice! We were greeted with rare kindness and helpfulness: the waiter, with his sweetness and professionalism, made us feel truly at home.
We started with an appetizer of game and local cheeses: an explosion of authentic flavors, with a special mention for the ricotta, simply incredible. Next, the mixed roast cooked over beech wood embers was a triumph of flavor, perfectly cooked, and irresistible aroma.
During our week in Abruzzo, we had the opportunity to try several restaurants, all excellent, but here you can breathe and savor the true soul of the region. It's impossible not to want to return. And indeed... we did! To take home not only the flavors, but also the memory of an authentic and unforgettable experience. We love arrosticini!!!
Congratulations indeed. A grill restaurant that deserves 5 stars!

07/05/2025: Veramente ottimo! La gentilezza della signorina che ci ha seguito, con consigli e spiegazioni, le zuppe favolose, le ottime porzioni e il prezzo veramente buono per quanto offerto ci hanno stregato! Grazie!
03/05/2025: Cucina semplice, sincera, senza fronzoli da ambiziosi gourmet, ad un prezzo giusto e con un servizio corretto e molto cortese. Evitate manciate di sale, grassi inutili, panne pasticciate per dare solo apparenza di sapore. Un agnello da 20 e lode per quanto mi riguarda (davvero gustoso e cotto a puntino). Chitarra al pomodoro, gnocchi a salsiccia e zafferano e fantastici agnolotti di ricotta al tartufo. Vino della casa senza alcuna offesa. Che dire? Grazie!!!
