15/06/2026: We returned from our trip to Sri Lanka a few months ago and were longing for certain flavors. We tried this restaurant located in the center of Senigallia, which also has a branch in Ancona. The owners are Sri Lankan. The prices are affordable, and we loved everything we ordered. For two, we tried: Waddai, Samosa, Cheese Parata, Dal, Yellow Rice, Eggplant Curry, and Lassi. It took us back to our trip. Recommended!

05/08/2026: It's my go-to every time I pass through Ancona! For those who love spicy rice, this restaurant is a must. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend the single dish for a complete dining experience. The wide selection of vegetarian options is a special mention.

31/01/2026: Four of us (my husband and two kids) had dinner at Desiderio this evening. The pizza was excellent... it's always been excellent! We were served by a really nice waiter. I don't know his name, but we had a table right in front of the pizza counter. He was really kind and patient, even helping one of the kids decide on ice cream when he couldn't decide. Highly recommended!

09/03/2026: After booking via the app, I found the restaurant closed and no response to the phone numbers.
03/01/2026: I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered Indian food, but honestly, it did not taste Indian at all. The chicken tikka masala was bad, the gravy was dirty and oily, and the flavors were completely wrong. It felt like the food was old and poorly prepared.
If you are calling this Indian cuisine, then you really need to learn what real Indian taste is. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for authentic or even decent Indian food. Very poor quality and not worth the money.
