The restaurant is very intimate in its size. The service, kind and courteous, and the food, good and typical, make the experience extremely pleasant. In my opinion it is a place that allows you to look, through cuisine and hospitality, into the culture of Sri Lanka and beyond. I fully recommend this restaurant. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, I will definitely be back.

Eating at Lal was a truly rewarding experience, a direct trip to Sri Lanka, a magnificent island where we went twice to visit local acquaintances. Lal is a kind and kind-hearted person, the food delicious, a must try. We will gladly come back 💥

Siamo andati a pranzo in 4 e abbiamo preso: ○ un piatto di antipasti misti molto abbondante (n7) ○ tre piatti completi (due noodles di carne e uno il piatto unico) ○ un piatto di agnello con contorno di patate ○ un milkshake, due gelati con frutta e un giro di caffè Il pasto è stato ottimo e abbiamo apprezzato tutti i piatti serviti, il personale è stato gentilissimo e superdisponibile. Il conto, considerando il pasto completo è stato di 108€. Molto consigliato.

Menù variegato e ottimo anche per palati vegetariani e vegani. È molto varia infatti la scelta di pietanze a base di legumi e verdure, nonostante ci siano diversi piatti a base di carne ma anche di pesce. Locale accogliente e pulito. Personale discreto e gentile. Pietanze deliziose, quantità adeguate e prezzi onesti. Consigliatissimo!

01/06/2025: A fantastic srilankan interior, very friendly waiters, even the boss is amazing. The food is very delicious and tasty. And you can make it srilankan spicy by yourself. We'll go definitely back.
25/05/2025: Great place if you want to escape pizza and pasta and all their empty carbs. We had a lovely and nutritious Sri Lankan meal, tried all kinds of vegetarian appetizers and dishes from the menue - and absolutely loved everything, especially the samosas and the dhal. The food was well seasoned, the prices fair and the service attentive and friendly. We can definitely recommend this place and will hopefully eat here again.

25/04/2025: I'm from Bari and on the Saturday, before Easter, I was in Ancona and some friends invited me to this place: Beautiful environment, tastefully furnished, pleasant; Excellent pizza, and if someone from Bari says so, and excellent appetizers (the mixed bruschettas are delicious); Price in line with that consumed. I would stay here again. Tiziano S.F.
