14/05/2025: After hearing a lot about this Indian restaurant from a dear friend who goes there every week, I finally decided to try it... and it was absolutely worth it. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was one of the best I've ever had: creamy, perfectly spiced, with very tender chicken and a sauce that I could have finished with just a spoon! To accompany it, a freshly baked naan bread, warm and fragrant, perfect for collecting every drop of that delicious sauce. A huge thank you to the chef, who not only demonstrates great mastery in the kitchen, but is also a warm and always smiling person. You can see that he puts his heart into what he does, and the very fresh quality of the dishes confirms this with every taste. An experience that I will gladly repeat. Highly recommended!

18/05/2025: If you are looking for an alternative offer to the typical Italian cuisine, I would definitely recommend this place, which felt quite authentic and the food was delicious. Grilled lamb chops and the butter chicken curry were the highlight of the dinner.

03/05/2025: Simply wonderful. The Tara Restaurant is a rare gem in the heart of Milan, an authentic corner of India where every detail is taken care of with love and passion. The location is splendid: clean, tidy, tastefully furnished, welcoming and characteristic, capable of transporting you into a warm and evocative atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner with friends or family. The service is impeccable: the staff is always smiling, very kind, attentive and extraordinarily polite. They welcome you as if you were at home and follow you with discretion, professionalism and a rare kindness to find. And then… the food. A symphony of flavours. Each dish is an explosion of taste, aromas and harmonies that win you over at the first taste. The chicken roll is something sensational, absolutely worth trying, a truly mystical experience for the palate. The cheese naan, soft and tasty, is the perfect treat to accompany the chicken korma, delicate and enveloping, and the prawn malai, creamy and rich in flavour. The tandoori prawns are juicy and spiced to perfection, while the reshmi kebab is very tender and well-balanced. Also not to be missed is the chicken pakora, crunchy and delicious. Whatever dish you choose, you can never go wrong: each course is a masterpiece. The quality-price ratio is incredible: due to the very high quality of the ingredients, the care in preparation and the service offered, the prices are absolutely competitive, indeed almost surprising. In summary: sincere and heartfelt compliments to all the Tara staff. It is rare to find a place where everything - absolutely everything - works perfectly. Top marks, with honors. We will return, and we will recommend it to anyone who loves good food and sincere hospitality.

03/06/2025: Whilst the server was pleasant, the two chicken dishes we ordered were horrible. They were dry and appeared to have been previously cooked and re cooked.

27/05/2025: We randomly came across this cute place on Google one day and decided to quickly run around the corner here for lunch before they shut at 3:00 pm for an afternoon break. Starving for Indian food since we only had pizza and pasta in Naples for 5 days we ordered some butter naan, paneer makhani, cola and sliced onions which came complimented with Roasted Papad and 3 types of chutney. The meal was sufficient enough for 2 pax - costed us around 30 Euro, was served fresh and hot and the people there were super duper nice. Being hospitable makes a difference. If you’re in Milan I would suggest to stop by for a quick meal.

Not sure if the restaurant is the same Govinda restaurants which all ISKCONs across globe does but they definitely seems be followers of ISKCON There’s a small, cute, divine temple in basement Satvik (veg) food, must give a try if you’re around

24/05/2025: For over 10 years it has been my trusted Indian restaurant. At affordable prices you can eat an excellent plate of rice (spiced or white) with 3 veg recipes or 2 (I think) of meat. The accompanying sauces served with the naan are also very good, the tamarind one I dream about at night ❤️

20/05/2025: During our stay in Milan, we found this restaurant that serves really delicious Kerala food. We liked it so much that we went there twice! The food was amazing . The porotta was soft and fluffy, just like it should be. The kappa biriyani was full of flavor, and the ghee roast was so tasty. Everything we tried was really good – there was nothing to complain about. The people there were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. If you’re in Milan and miss Kerala food, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll for sure come back next time we’re in the city! 5/5 – Loved it!
