03/05/2025: Simply wonderful. The Tara Restaurant is a rare gem in the heart of Milan, an authentic corner of India where every detail is taken care of with love and passion. The location is splendid: clean, tidy, tastefully furnished, welcoming and characteristic, capable of transporting you into a warm and evocative atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner with friends or family. The service is impeccable: the staff is always smiling, very kind, attentive and extraordinarily polite. They welcome you as if you were at home and follow you with discretion, professionalism and a rare kindness to find. And then… the food. A symphony of flavours. Each dish is an explosion of taste, aromas and harmonies that win you over at the first taste. The chicken roll is something sensational, absolutely worth trying, a truly mystical experience for the palate. The cheese naan, soft and tasty, is the perfect treat to accompany the chicken korma, delicate and enveloping, and the prawn malai, creamy and rich in flavour. The tandoori prawns are juicy and spiced to perfection, while the reshmi kebab is very tender and well-balanced. Also not to be missed is the chicken pakora, crunchy and delicious. Whatever dish you choose, you can never go wrong: each course is a masterpiece. The quality-price ratio is incredible: due to the very high quality of the ingredients, the care in preparation and the service offered, the prices are absolutely competitive, indeed almost surprising. In summary: sincere and heartfelt compliments to all the Tara staff. It is rare to find a place where everything - absolutely everything - works perfectly. Top marks, with honors. We will return, and we will recommend it to anyone who loves good food and sincere hospitality.

Not sure if the restaurant is the same Govinda restaurants which all ISKCONs across globe does but they definitely seems be followers of ISKCON There’s a small, cute, divine temple in basement Satvik (veg) food, must give a try if you’re around

15/02/2025: At the moment, for me it is the best ever. From the quality of the dishes to the service, of extreme kindness. We ordered the special menu, and a delicacy arrived on the table that we struggled to finish. Portions more than generous. Then there are also the Ayurvedic and fish-based menus, worth trying. You leave truly satisfied, and it's money well spent.

24/05/2025: For over 10 years it has been my trusted Indian restaurant. At affordable prices you can eat an excellent plate of rice (spiced or white) with 3 veg recipes or 2 (I think) of meat. The accompanying sauces served with the naan are also very good, the tamarind one I dream about at night ❤️

20/05/2025: During our stay in Milan, we found this restaurant that serves really delicious Kerala food. We liked it so much that we went there twice! The food was amazing . The porotta was soft and fluffy, just like it should be. The kappa biriyani was full of flavor, and the ghee roast was so tasty. Everything we tried was really good – there was nothing to complain about. The people there were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. If you’re in Milan and miss Kerala food, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll for sure come back next time we’re in the city! 5/5 – Loved it!

The location is quiet and welcoming, with pleasant and relaxing background music. The rose lassi is highly recommended, truly delicious!

27/04/2025: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Very nice place, atmosphere with attention to detail, very nice decorations and excellent food. Extremely kind staff, we went to dinner with our 10 month old daughter and they had the foresight and kindness to prepare a small plate especially for her ready in a few minutes and cleaned our plate brought from home. We are vegetarians and found lots of choice, all the food was delicious and quality, we felt at home, new favorite place to go for Indian food! ❤️

22/03/2025: My family and I have just been there. As a first experience I have to admit I am totally satisfied! Very polite and kind staff. Since it was my first time I asked for help in choosing both for me and the children, and everyone ate everything with satisfaction and great enjoyment! The spices are not exaggerated and the spicy option can be avoided, so no problem for those with a weak stomach! Varied choice of Indian spirits, all unique and good. Normal price, also considering the origin of some products. Recommended to anyone who wants to try Indian food. Congratulations 😉😊

07/05/2025: My favorite Indian restaurant in Brescia for two main reasons: incredibly friendly staff and really good food. Last night we started by sharing the Misto Pakora starter, then continuing with a Murg Lawabdar and Panir Masala. All obviously accompanied by typical Indian beer and naan bread (both with butter and garlic). At the end of the evening, given our curiosity at the checkout, we were also offered the Gool Gappa (also better known as Pani Puri). I had no doubts, but we will definitely be back :)

28/04/2025: Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. We were seated next to a table with children playing loudly on tablets, which made it difficult to enjoy our meal in peace. To add to this, the food arrived cold and lacked the flavour I’d normally expect. The service also felt quite unfriendly, which only added to our discomfort. I’m usually a fan of Indian cuisine and had hoped for a much better experience.

Friendly waiters, service not very fast but still acceptable, dishes all to my liking, although I don't like spicy food I found pleasantly spicy foods to my taste. Prices aligned with the area we are in. I absolutely recommend it!

30/05/2025: Pedimos en el menú Sri Lanken que incluye dos aperitivos, así como entradas de pollo, camarones y vegetarianos. Toda la comida era notablemente sosa y carente de cualquier sabor o especias detectables. El servicio era bastante atento, pero nuestro camarero pasó la mayor parte de su tiempo sonriendo distraídamente en su teléfono. Su inglés era tan malo como nuestro italiano por lo que la comunicación era difícil.

Each dish was carefully crafted, from the perfectly balanced spices to the quality of the ingredients. We were also impressed by the setting: welcoming and with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very kind and attentive, making the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended to those who love Indian cuisine or want to try it for the first time!
