01/06/2026: Attention vegetarians! Italian food is relatively vegetarian friendly but limited in variety. Last week we looked for a break from the usual pizza/pasta pomodoro and found it at Taj Mahal in Milan steps from Napoeon's arch. Even though Milan is a modern cosmopolitan city, it is not one rich in the foods of the world. Please support one that does try to provide an alterative to Italian cuisine, especially one with so many vegetarian options.

02/05/2026: We went here for lunch and I have to say we had a great time. The waiter let us browse the menu at our leisure and then, when it came time to order, gave us really good advice (anything spicier would have been too much). The dishes were beautifully presented and meticulously prepared. The vegetarian rice I ordered was exquisite. It will stay in my memory for a long time. The portions were quite generous. The prices were average. Definitely worth a try. The only downside is that the atmosphere is a bit dark. *** Back for the second time after a few years... everything was perfect, a guarantee!!

Convenient for a tour around the lake, cute and welcoming, really good food, definitely the lentil dahl, and everything else was delicious! Stop by if you're in the area 🚀 Small addition to the review: Back after 6 months and again, I have to say that all the dishes I ordered were incredible, the lamb was delicious. I think this will become a place I can trust! 22/02/2026: Great Indian restaurant in Lecco. I've been there several times, both for eat-in and delivery. I love their vegetarian menu!

15/05/2026: So I went with my friends and the food was so good. We had chicken biryani with raita and it was so good, the chicken was really tender. Then we had butter chicken with cheese naan and garlic naan and it was sooo good. The spice level was perfect aswell. I would 100% recommend. And the price was really affordable and we were surprised by how good the food quality was.

14/05/2026: Absolutely loved Punjab Restaurant in Lecco! After a long day, this place truly hit the spot with rich, flavorful spices, comforting dishes, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. We were especially grateful that they stayed open late and still served high-quality food even close to midnight. Warm service, delicious authentic flavors, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend if you’re craving excellent Indian food in Lecco!

My delicate lamb was delicious, I also tried the other diners' dishes such as chicken masala and vegetarian meatballs. The sauces were also delicious. Finally, a ginger tea. 17/04/2026: We often come to Como, and it feels like we’ve already tried almost every restaurant in town. Of course, Italian cuisine is amazing, but after a while, even pasta and pizza can get a bit repetitive, and you start craving something different. We had heard about this restaurant for quite a long time. We kept seeing very good reviews and had planned to visit several times, but since we usually work in the evenings, which is when the restaurant is mostly open, we never had the chance. This time, though, a bit tired of Italian food, we finally decided to go. And honestly, we were really impressed.🤩 We tried quite a lot of dishes: chicken, different meat dishes, lamb, eggplant, and dishes with Indian cheese, as well as the flatbreads. We even had dessert, and absolutely everything was VERY delicious! 😃 It’s actually rare to enjoy every single dish, but that’s exactly what happened here. If you’re looking for new flavors and want to try truly good Indian food that isn’t overly spicy, which was important for us, this is definitely the place to go. Even the short walk there, about ten minutes on foot, was completely worth it. Everything was excellent - the quality of the food, the taste, and the overall experience. It really feels like authentic Indian cuisine at its best.♥️ Honestly, we haven’t found anything similar in Milan or in Rome. So for us, this is one of the best Indian restaurants, and it’s definitely worth visiting, especially when you feel like taking a break from Italian food and trying something different. ☺️

14/12/2025: After many years, Shiva remains my go-to Indian restaurant in Milan because the food is always delicious, the prices are affordable, and the set menus are well-designed (I like both the Shiva and vegetarian menus). Not all the ingredients are top-quality (the menu says the chicken is Aia, and the shrimp don't seem particularly fresh either), but so far I haven't found better Indian cuisine in Milan. The staff are always very friendly, and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.

02/06/2026: Food nothing special and very very little. Very small portions. More of a Milanese Indian than an Indian. I won't repeat.

01/06/2026: Dont get me wrong, the food was really delicious and i would pay to eat here again but only if I have alot of spare time and i’m not super hungry. Dinner service took 2hours
