It's like being on vacation in Greece, a dive into its delicacies and traditions, a perfect balance of flavor, simplicity, and serenity. No noise, no long waits, and delicious food that whisks you away from the daily grind of the city without having to wait for your long-awaited vacation. Perfect for those looking for a relaxed, peaceful evening with excellent traditional Greek food. What's truly remarkable is the hospitality of the owner and the entire team, who are polite, kind, and helpful. We were here for the first time, arriving thanks to a parking space we found by chance, eager to spend an evening away from the chaos of everyday life in the city. Highly recommended!!! Good value for money. We tried two meat courses and very good desserts, and we'll definitely try more!!!

27/05/2026: Excellent pita, with the right, fresh flavors. The meat is a bit sparse, but understandable given the prices in Italy. Friendly staff, a taverna/Mediterranean cuisine setting, so the vibe is right. A few evenings with live Greek music, where we can sing along, would be a great strategic move, and, in my opinion, much appreciated.

13/12/2025: It was my first time here, and I must say I'll gladly return... you pay little and get a lot... I ate very well, from the rustic appetizers to the first and second courses, right down to dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious, and the place was rustic yet welcoming.

24/11/2025: Alfio, the wonderful guide at the Castagno dei Cento Cavalli, recommended this restaurant for our lunch. We were delighted by the antipasto that kept arriving with so many dishes. Then our pasta which was tasty. A great view towards the sea from the windows. We enjoyed our lunch very much.

02/06/2026: A truly fantastic experience at Kalimera – L'Angolo Greco! As soon as we entered, we felt transported to a beautiful Greek island, despite being in the heart of Florence. The atmosphere is welcoming, authentic, and meticulously crafted. The dishes we received were, to say the least, exceptional: authentic flavors, top-quality ingredients, and preparations that conveyed all the passion of Greek tradition. Each course was a pleasant discovery, and the food was simply delicious. Kudos to the entire staff for their professionalism and friendliness. If you're looking for a slice of Greece in Florence, this is the place. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food and authentic experiences. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

30/05/2026: The restaurant is certainly nice, the waiters are friendly, but unfortunately the prices are too high and the portions are small (e.g., a single souvlaki platter with two skewers—two of them!—and practically a teaspoon of tzatziki). The cashier was very rude when we were splitting the bill. A great shame, unfortunately. We're sorry. Parking nearby is difficult on weekends, including the Tanari parking lot. EDIT - Reply to the Restaurant Owner: Paying €14 for two average-quality skewers seemed excessive to everyone, even considering the usual restaurant markups. The quality-price ratio, in our opinion, isn't worth it. Added to this is the tone of your responses to reviews: the irony and rudeness with which you react to customers only confirms our negative impression. A little more professionalism and hospitality wouldn't go amiss. P.S. We didn't order any pita or lamb; we divided the meal by the number of people in the family, not by the number of dishes ordered. If you're not sure of the group of people you're writing about, as in this case, you completely misordered what you ordered. We ask that these untrue examples not be given, out of respect for future guests who read these reviews before visiting the restaurant.

10/05/2026: I ordered the burger menu, and I found the food incredibly good, and the staff truly kind and helpful. Even for first-timers. The price is still medium-high (€12 for the burger menu), but the quality is high and worth it. I also thank the staff for offering me a glass of Greek liqueur. When I return to Bologna, I will definitely be happy to eat here again. 🏆

31/05/2026: I went with friends for lunch. We ate outside. Excellent location. Very good cold cuts. Amazing cacio e pepe gnocchi. Excellent wine selection. The owner and his father were very kind and knowledgeable; they really want to do things and do them well. Highly recommended. We'll be back very soon, especially because I'm curious to try other items on the menu.

28/05/2026: We used to frequent this place before moving here, and now that we live in Tredozio, it's an excellent spot for a morning coffee, an afternoon aperitivo, or a delicious dinner. The food is prepared with great care and dedication. Marcelo is always attentive, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's truly a place to feel good.

24/10/2025: Bruno is the master of ceremonies, creating pizzas made to perfection. The dough is incredibly digestible, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Selected, high-quality ingredients reflect the local area, and are assembled with taste and meticulous attention to detail. There's a very interesting selection of beers. The place is well-kept, clean, simple, yet welcoming. The staff is attentive, starting with his mother, who is superb! We've been back several times and the quality is always top-notch. Reservations are required; no takeout.

18/10/2025: It was a lovely surprise! Every customer is WELCOME, starting with a big smile from the lovely lady at the entrance, followed by the very attentive and kind waitresses, and finally the pizza chef who, with great care and dedication to our requests, presented us with his pizzas. The pizzas are truly delicious, original and with attention to detail, using quality ingredients. I like to think that these places can increasingly become places of true Italian beauty. Thank you for the lovely evening 😊
