07/09/2025: The reviews seem overhyped to me. The food was decent but the menu was very misleading. The food we got looked nothing like the pictures and I'd go so far as to say the names are inaccurate. We ordered "spicy chicken" but got sweet and sour chicken. We also ordered "boiled spicy fish" but got fish in a mushroom broth. Not to mention there was very little actual fish in the dish.
If you're travelling and need a quick hit of rice or Chinese food, this place will definitely do the trick. However, keep your expectations tempered.

01/10/2025: Excellent experience. Good quality food, varied, and enriched with delicious fusion influences. I really appreciated the variety of dishes offered, unlike the usual all-you-can-eat options. I went on a Tuesday, and despite it not being a peak day, both the service and the quality were excellent. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

13/10/2025: The food is good, no complaints about the quality, but the portions, especially for takeout, are really small for the prices. I've brought this up several times, both in person and over the phone, but nothing has changed.
Paying €15 for a plate of rice that isn't filling is truly disappointing. It's a shame, because I really liked this restaurant and had brought many people there, but unfortunately they lost a customer (and probably many others) due to their lack of attention to their patrons.

15/10/2025: A la carte sushi dinner for two, impeccable service and hospitality, very nice atmosphere. Good-quality fish and sake. Highly recommended!
The only flaw: the quality/price ratio isn't great, in my opinion.
01/10/2025: The dishes and sushi are average (like all-you-can-eat, if not worse) and definitely overpriced for their quality. The manager/owner is quite rude. This place is not recommended.

14/10/2025: I booked because the restaurant is close to the Arena. Nice place, clean bathrooms, and very friendly staff. The sushi is varied and, in my opinion, good quality with decent portions. I recommend it.
13/10/2025: In short, the food isn't very good, the quality isn't good enough.
The only positive thing is the Italian girl who took the order, who was very friendly and approachable.

22/10/2025: If you want to try real sushi in a traditional Japanese restaurant, light years away from the overused all-you-can-eat restaurants that blend ingredients and cuisines from around the world to excite the palate... Yayoi is the answer. Forget eating on fancy chairs surrounded by ponds with artificial vapors rising up onto the table... this is reminiscent of the old Mambo at Kiss Me Licia, a wooden restaurant with a counter overlooking the kitchen... top-quality fish and rice served to the moment in a typical Japanese bar. I've tried all the "tre bachette" at Gambero Rosso Veronesi, but this one beats them all in quality!
01/10/2025: An intimate restaurant far removed from the usual all-you-can-eat options. It offers a true Japanese atmosphere, with quality food. The portions are generous, the prices are moderately high, but worth it. Limited seating, good service. Definitely worth a try, even for takeout.
