16/12/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant for many years and have always been satisfied in every way, so much so that for a time I even went daily. The atmosphere is elegant, clean, and pleasant; the owners are always present and attentive to their customers' every need; the waiters are all young, kind, and smiling. The variety of food is immense, even though I love eating the same things over and over again, and they always taste delicious. Go ahead and enjoy your meal.

31/12/2025: I only eat vegan and I was amazed to say the least, an entire page of the menu dedicated to vegan sushi, so good that I almost doubted🤣 very kind staff I will definitely be back!

22/12/2025: Absolutely don’t reccomend this place. The nigiri was falling apart and they charged 11.2 for an appetizer sized udon. We spent a lot of money and had to get food sonewhere else because everything came bite size.

His kindness undoubtedly enhanced the restaurant's already high quality. The food and service were excellent; the quality/price ratio was excellent; the comfortable setting and the welcoming, attentive atmosphere created a positive experience that will certainly encourage us to return. 26/12/2025: The absolute best sushi restaurant in Rome. In eight years of dining there, I've never left unsatisfied. Everything was excellent, even the sake selection, and the service, handled impeccably by Gianpaolo. Highly recommended!

06/01/2026: A very cute and welcoming Japanese pastry shop where you can enjoy a unique breakfast or a quick lunch. A small gazebo in front of the shop allows you to eat both indoors and outdoors. The menu features traditional Japanese sweets as well as savory dishes like onigiri, uramaki, rice, and ramen. The desserts are homemade, and the flavors of the ingredients tell you they're fresh and made with love and dedication. The (presumably) owner was truly lovely, helpful, and very kind. She gave me some tips for my decision to try the Genmaicha, as its bitter taste might not be for everyone. The Roll Cake with matcha and white chocolate was delicious and soft, a true delight. Hiromi with umeshu, raspberry, and cocoa biscuits was very creamy yet delicate. The Umeshu Spritz was a really nice new thing to try, and much appreciated. Genmaicha is fresh and unique, with a very delicate flavor, and even though it's bitter, I personally still enjoyed it. The story of how the idea for Hiromi Cake came about is beautiful. It touched me. Sometimes people forget that the most beautiful and precious thing is the kindness you can show others, and it would be good to remember that, but unfortunately, not everyone understands this. I'd love to return to try other sweets and even other macha lattes. I'm happy with the wonderful experience I had at this little place. Thank you!

03/01/2026: A great experience for a first-time visitor to a place that truly feels like Japan: the desserts are truly varied and wonderfully flavorful, and the teas are equally delicious (especially the macha!). The service is impeccable and courteous, as the Japanese know how. Highly recommended for a poetically delicious afternoon snack.

26/12/2025: I've been coming to Gioia Mia for years, and that's no coincidence: it's a historic restaurant, open for about thirty years, so it's not just another trendy place that just popped up yesterday. This is evident, especially in the way they work and the consistent quality. I much prefer it to the usual AYCE restaurants, where they fill your table with lots of food but you end up eating bland and often heavy food. Here, it's the opposite: you pay for quality, not volume. Each dish is carefully prepared, balanced, without the "everything the same" effect typical of industrial places. The sushi boat remains one of my favorites 🍣🚤. Beautiful to look at, but above all, delicious to eat. Fresh fish, well-made rice, clean and distinctive flavors, no sauces to cover up flaws. You can tell there's experience behind it, not improvisation. The atmosphere is quiet, the service is always courteous, and the timing is right, allowing you to enjoy your dinner without rushing. The prices are more than fair for what they bring to the table. If you're looking for true quality and not the usual soulless binge, this is one of those places that continues to earn your trust year after year! 😋

05/01/2026: Ramen is really watery and tasteless . Do not get a lot meat and does not taste like authentic ramen. Not much noodles either . Was 14 euros per ramen . The restaurant is clean , nice service , and good seating. Maybe sushi is better , didn’t try it. If you need a place to hang out and drink, it seems like a nice place.

04/01/2026: We came here on a Friday night by pure chance, because we wanted ramen and all the other places in the area were full... yet that was our luck!! Here we found ramen with attention to every detail: the base, the broths, the noodles, all homemade. But above all, even the soy sauce was homemade, and it's truly special. Out of curiosity, we also shared an onomakoyaki, a typical Okasa appetizer, delicious, and for a treat, two tuna belly nigiri, the best cut (€14 for two), and indeed it was delicious. This tasting, and the sight of the other tables mostly ordering sushi, made us realize that, in addition to the hot dishes, it too is delicious and absolutely worth it. Finally, for dessert, we had a delicious yuzu tart accompanied by sake (they have a carefully curated selection and can help you choose the pairings). The ambiance also deserves special mention. It's very traditionally Japanese, yet more refined and elegant than the classic, ultra-modern all-you-can-eat sushi joints, or even those overly "fake" izakaya-style places. Plus, it was quiet despite being almost full, making it ideal for a romantic dinner. Highly recommended!

27/11/2025: If you're looking for original Japanese products, a well-stocked shop, and attentive service, go here. Very close to the Cipro metro station, it's worth the trip because it may seem small, but it has a wide selection.
