01/03/2026: The place is a little dated but very cute and welcoming. The food was very good! We had lots of sushi, udon, meat dumplings, and katsudon (excellent udon and katsudon). The staff were very friendly!
24/02/2026: We had a nice selection of vegetarian japaneese food. It was delicious! Clean and tastefull ambiente, friendly service and a moderate price. I highly recommand this place and will come back sometime.

15/03/2026: We had a wonderful Sunday at Daruma, four adults and four children under 6, and we all ate deliciously. The gyoza was top-notch, the udon was fantastic. It was also very convenient for kids. The waitress assigned to our table, Justine, was wonderful, extremely patient with the little ones and their countless requests, precise with her orders, and always very kind. Perfect place for lunch after a walk by the lake!

16/11/2025: Embarrassing service: dishes were practically thrown at the table, different ones every time, as if it were a low-end fast food restaurant rather than a restaurant. Ordering was incredibly slow: we waited up to an hour for some dishes, and yet we only managed to order twice. Not "all you can eat" here: it's more of an "all you can wait." The food was of poor quality. The fish, instead of being enhanced, was covered with overpowering flavors (onion, truffle, etc.) that made it seem like they were trying to hide the true flavor. Honestly, given what we ate, I felt cheated. The worst thing, however, was the owner's attitude. When we pointed out the problems, her response was more or less: "Oh well, everything arrived anyway, so there's no problem." Too bad we couldn't order anything else because the kitchen was already closing. We sat down at 1:20 PM, and the kitchen closed at 3:00 PM. Instead of taking responsibility for the slow and disorganized service, we were basically made to understand that we, the ones complaining, were the problem. I was also struck by the sight of the table next to ours, with children waiting and waiting without their orders arriving. It's not just a question of money, but of respect for people's time and needs. The feeling is that the restaurant is only focused on minimizing costs and maximizing profits, with no interest in leaving the customer satisfied. No care, no attention, no sense of responsibility. I will never, ever return, and I would advise against it to anyone: if you value your time, your money, and your mood, go elsewhere. You'll leave here more frustrated than satisfied.

03/02/2026: I was deeply disappointed by my experience at this Japanese restaurant. I chose it based on the positive reviews, but the reality was quite different. - Below-average food quality: the sushi was not very fresh, with loose rice and tasteless fish. Some pieces seemed to have been prepared long ago and left sitting there. - Inexplicable wait times: despite the restaurant being half empty, we waited over 40 minutes for two simple dishes. - Inattentive service: the staff seemed completely disinterested. No smiles, no explanation of the dishes, and we had to repeatedly ask for water and cutlery. - Terrible value for money: prices of a high-end restaurant, but the quality of a makeshift fast food joint. In short, an experience I would not recommend. With so many valid alternatives, this place needs to seriously rethink its quality, service, and organization.

08/03/2026: A leading Chinese restaurant in the Talenti neighborhood. Excellent food and good service. Reservations are required and you can eat at lunchtime before 1:00 PM, as they close at 3:00 PM. Dinner is also available by 8:00 PM at the latest, as they close at 11:00 PM. Very friendly staff.
16/02/2026: The restaurant has a beautiful interior, divided into intimate spaces. The food ranges from Chinese to Japanese, and the quality is excellent. The staff is polite, and the prices are moderate. Free parking is easy to find on the street.

Today, I can say that eating here is synonymous with satisfaction. It's a real shame I had to downgrade my 5-star review to 3.
15/02/2026: Sorry, we'd read good reviews... Nice place, fairly large, but we still found ourselves eating at a tiny table practically huddled with strangers, almost as if we were sitting at the same table (and indeed, there was a bit of a mix-up with the orders). Speaking of service, they forgot some dishes, brought us things we hadn't ordered, and generally showed little attention. The rice portions were a bit too generous (so you could fill up faster and pay for the rest!). Some "hot" dishes arrived cold, and the supposedly "cold" raw fish dishes (especially nigiri) arrived practically lukewarm/hot and sometimes bitter. The fried foods and wakame seaweed were good. The menu had very little choice, and some dishes seen in photos here on Maps weren't available. One last thing: the cars parked right in front of the entrance, pressed against the windows facing outside, blinded half the restaurant as soon as they turned on their headlights. I don't recommend it, sorry.

05/03/2026: An excellent Japanese restaurant with an à la carte menu, it's firmly established as one of the best places to enjoy quality food in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The eel and hosomaki specials are definitely worth trying. The wine list is a bit limited, with several labels actually unavailable (needs updating), but overall it's excellent.
03/03/2026: The food was excellent; I rediscovered the flavors of my previous trips to Japan. The location was perfect. The service could be improved (at times, it was very unfriendly).

10/12/2025: A unique experience! The place is welcoming, intimate, and meticulously crafted. The ingredients are excellent, and the pairings are fantastic. The menu is so extensive, yet not overwhelming, that not knowing what to choose, we relied on them, and the dinner was exquisite. As for the quality/price ratio, there's nothing to complain about; the prices are more than fair for the quality. Truly a wonderful experience, definitely worth repeating.

01/03/2026: I eat sushi once a week and have never had such a bad meal in my life. The restaurant is run 100% by non-Japanese, Chinese, or non-Italian speakers. The waiters aren't very helpful, and the place smells awful. I had to send the tuna back because it was obviously unhealthy/unhealthy. Don't look at the pictures on the menu because what you get is unrecognizable. The quality is truly poor, and the portions are incredibly small. The bathrooms are so dirty and run down that I don't understand why the local health authority leaves them open. Despite all this, the prices are above average.

11/03/2026: I dined at Domò Sushi on Via Novara, and despite the refined atmosphere, the experience was unfortunately marred by management that I would describe as lacking in guest service. The welcome was cold from the moment I entered: the first waiter brusquely directed me to a colleague, and once the reservation was verified, we were told to choose a table for two in the outdoor area, without anyone to accompany us. What I found inconsistent was the time management: despite being advised at the time of booking to vacate the table by 10:00 PM, we had to wait over 25 minutes just for someone to activate our tablet, despite my repeated and kind reminders to the passing staff. From a culinary standpoint, the cuisine was rather anonymous and lacked the expected vigor; the dishes were edible, but lacked anything special. Attention to detail was also lacking: my husband ordered two bottled beers, which were accompanied by glasses of wine. A striking detail, considering the place also offers draft beer and therefore should have the appropriate glasses; serving it that way denotes a certain arrogance. The service in the dining room seemed frenetic, with dishes almost "thrown" onto the table and a total lack of reciprocity: my constant thanks were never followed by a word or a nod, an attitude that doesn't please anyone seeking a peaceful evening. Only two girls deserve praise: one in the dining room, the only one smiling as she retrieved two forgotten plates, and the girl at the cash register who, at the end of the evening, noticing my expression, asked if everything had gone well. To that question, I responded ironically: "It was a calm evening, very calm." A calm observation to underscore how the atmosphere had, on the contrary, been less than serene and devoid of attention. Working closely with the public, I know how demanding this job is, but kindness and politeness are the foundations of hospitality. A dish may not be memorable, but it's the feeling of welcome that makes you want to return; without this human warmth, you'll rarely feel the desire to repeat the experience.
