23/12/2025: I've read complaints about the price in several reviews. I think the cost is absolutely normal, especially for Italy and the type of food. Since they use raw materials (salmon for sushi, good, high-quality tuna), they're meticulously prepared, and the food must be fresh, discarding unsold items. It's perfectly normal to pay significant amounts. I had two portions of Philadelphia sushi and a pasta dish. I spent €35, and it's absolutely acceptable. In another restaurant for the same amount, I would have had pizza, water/soft drink, and dessert for around €25-30. So the price is within normal limits. Fresh, good food, as well as its preparation, costs money. That's the reality. As for problems with cooking and the food itself, I'll just say that it can happen. We all make mistakes. The important thing is to recognize that it's human to make mistakes and not get angry. It's happened to me a few times, to receive the wrong dishes or to wait hours... personally, I didn't get angry. Amen. It happens people.

02/10/2025: The best sushi I've ever eaten, the open preparation is what sets them apart because you see the product being prepared and assembled... the gem of the place is also the home delivery service, where punctuality is their daily bread!

The quality of the food is superior to any other I've tried in the city: the fish is always fresh, the dishes are carefully crafted, and every course reflects attention and respect for the ingredients. Beyond the quality of the service, the excellent delivery service also makes it perfect for enjoying fresh, well-prepared sushi at home, without compromising the experience. The atmosphere is calm, clean, and orderly—a place where you feel at ease and can truly enjoy every dish. Wasabi Sushi clearly stands out from the others: not only for the food, but for the overall attention to detail throughout the experience. For me, it remains the absolute benchmark for Japanese cuisine in Trieste.

27/02/2026: If there were 10 stars, I'd give them all. There's no comparison to any "all you can eat" or other sushi restaurant. The quality here is impeccable, the food is so good that even when you order takeout, it doesn't lose any points. It melts in your mouth and is a treat for the palate 💗 I recommend this restaurant to everyone, and no one has ever been disappointed! The service is excellent and the staff is always kind and attentive. Since it opened 10 years ago, every time I leave I can't wait to go back. See you next time 🫶🏼

14/02/2026: If you want quality Japanese food, this is the best place in Pordenone and the surrounding area. The location is beautiful and decorated with soothing colors, and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, even for children. The waiters (especially the two young women) are incredibly courteous and friendly. See you soon!

30/01/2026: It's the only sushi restaurant I enjoy going to, being vegetarian. They offer several vegetarian-friendly options, but I always end up ordering the Shibuya Veggie, which is phenomenal! Even fish lovers have been thrilled, especially the salmon, which I've tried a few times myself. The setting is refined and elegant, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff is always courteous, helpful, and professional. The prices are a little higher than average, but perfectly justified by the quality of the food and service. :-))

16/10/2025: Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. We waited 40 minutes for the main course (the first course at the restaurant in the evening). Only one of the two arrived, and it was wrong. The second course didn't arrive for an hour. No apology or explanation from the staff. We definitely won't be back. The food was decent. In the meantime, however, all the takeaways were ready.

16/02/2026: We had called ahead to make a reservation and ask if vegan and gluten-free options were available, but the person who answered said they only served vegetarian dishes. However, checking the menu on the website revealed otherwise. So we went to the restaurant anyway, and the waiter at the entrance, a young and affable man with a Roman accent, very kindly showed us all the available options and found us a table even though the restaurant was fully booked and we hadn't booked. The private dining room was an oasis of tranquility and comfort, and the staff, composed of smiling and kind young waiters, demonstrated great professionalism and attentiveness to our needs. We particularly liked the fact that the restaurant employs a team of young Trieste-based workers, creating a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. The dishes were high-quality and the service impeccable. Kudos to the restaurant management and the excellent work of the staff. We were truly satisfied with our experience and will definitely return. Highly recommended!!!
