31/05/2025: Famous and long-standing place in Udine, a small location with few seats available, in fact booking is recommended, the possible experience at the sushi bar is interesting, I recommend it, the à la carte proposal is very varied and without too many frills but interesting, you immediately notice the difference with all you can eat especially in the quality of the fish that having personally tasted (in many places) you immediately notice that the sashimi did not require the addition of soy, the same for the nighiri and other pieces that had the right amount of rice and fish which is not a given in other places. For the hot dishes we tried the light shrimp tempura with the right flavour, the gyoza were also good. the service was always precise and attentive I close with the price issue which according to two calculations turns out to be perfectly in line with the clearly superior quality I highly recommend the visit

02/06/2025: Da amante del fusion, 8 1/2 è un ristorante di livello alto. Nulla a che vedere con i soliti posti all you can eat. E nonostante sia alla carta i prezzi sono accessibilissimi: abbiamo preso 4 piatti a testa + 2 coca cola / 66€ in due. Le porzioni x piatto sono abbondanti e la qualità delle materie prime è ottima! Sono riuscita a far mangiare al mio fidanzato diversi piatti che in altri ristoranti rifiutava. La location è semplice, intima. Ma se volete mangiare dell’ottimo sushi/cinese vi consiglio di andarci. Personale gentilissimo. Spero di tornarci.

04/05/2025: It's been a while since I went.... I returned with my daughter, and I must say that it is truly a guarantee! The place is always beautiful and well kept, the welcome is always kind, helpful, with a smile and very polite. Good dishes, and fair portions. Also for takeaway. One thing I really like is that, in the middle of the room there is a booth where they hang all the customers' tickets that they leave on the tables, a beautiful gesture!

23/04/2025: After a year of trying other sushi, we came back and found our dear old Sakura again! The location is simply the best you can find in a sushi restaurant in Udine. Tranquility, style, originality and courteous staff guarantee an experience unlike any other. The sushi are of excellent quality and large in portion (the gunkan perhaps even too large!). We will definitely come back to enjoy your delicious rolls and the relaxing atmosphere of your place...

18/04/2025: The first challenge with Zushi is already writing it. Try it: WhatsApp, Telegram or any well-intentioned keyboard will turn it into "Sushi", as part of a conspiracy by the restaurants of the Rising Sun. And yet it is one of the best-known and most stylized gastronomic realities in the city. It's incredible how the new generation immediately recognizes quality (I'm talking about my daughters): you can't fool them with other sushi. Just one look at those perfect nigiri, at the sashimi arranged like in a Zen anatomy table, and at the dishes that seem to pass an ISO 21621 style quality control (it really exists!) to understand that every detail counts here. I suspect that between the kitchen and the dining room there is a secret room where each dish is scanned, x-rayed and, if it fails the test... it is incinerated together with the chef. Also because it seems that the kitchen staff changes as quickly as a Korean television production: creative turnover or ritual sacrifice? Nobody knows. The result, however, is always exceptional. The only slight flaw: the yaki udon with beef and shiitake mushrooms (that's how it's written, if my memory serves me right). But I suspect it's a karmic trap for anyone who dares to order a hot, soupy, beef dish at a place called Zushi. Come on, the message is clear: 'There are no Lubianske, you're here for the fish. Raw!' So yes, Zushi is more than sushi. It's a style. Corporate. And if the automatic corrector doesn't get there, the palate and the eyes do.

22/04/2025: The food was all good, the service very fast, the price in line with other restaurants of the kind... but it is the menu that is the real plus, as it features dishes that are not usually found in all-you-can-eat restaurants. Advised

11/06/2025: Prima volta che provo questo ristorante, sicuramente non sarà l'ultima. Ambiente accogliente, luminoso e molto moderno, personale simpatico, gentile e molto disponibile,sopratutto il napoletano. Qualità dei piatti ottimi, pesce fresco e di qualità, molti piatti mi hanno sorpreso per gli abbinamenti e il gusto, sicuramente molto apprezzati. Consiglio vivamente se volete trascorrere una serata tranquilla e spensierata sia in compagnia ma anche in coppia.

07/05/2025: By now the I-Sushi restaurant has become the place par excellence if I want to eat excellent quality sushi at a price that I think is worth it. It's not all you can eat but personally with 2-3 dishes maximum you can fill yourself up. Superlative Nigiri Flambè, no restaurant is able to make them like here.

02/05/2025: Terrible service, slow and a disaster. Rude waiters, many times we went to eat there, in all those times maybe we had a good time only 2 times, for the rest there was always something wrong, we went and had to wait more than 15 minutes just to order, even if we were the only ones who had to order because all the other tables were already eating, In total we had ordered 4 rolls of which there were 2, after more than 25 minutes the first 2 rolls arrived, we ate and waited for the last 2 rolls to arrive, after another 20-25 minutes nothing arrived, so we asked if the last two rolls were arriving and the waiter said that in the kitchen they were convinced they had made them first!!!! They made a mistake in the kitchen but the waiters who don't see the dishes arriving don't have to check?! then in the end the rolls arrive the girl puts the plates on the table she doesn't even say sorry or I'm sorry absolutely zero she just leaves the plates and that's it, we tasted the first piece it had a very strange taste we had to spit it out straight away the taste was really disgusting unfortunately, I had taken an urmaki roll in that roll there is no mayonnaise but I don't know why there was mayonnaise as if I had removed the prawns from another roll and put them in mine!!😅 we left the plate like that and went to the cash register, the Chinese gentleman at the checkout said yes because today there is a disaster etc. we understood but we were the last table so I can't understand!! and we said that the last two rolls were inedible, however he gave us the bill and he said that only €40 was fine instead of €50!! For 2 rolls!!…. we went out immediately and after we left I looked at the receipt he had still charged us for one roll of the two we had left then I went back in and said sorry but why do I have to pay for something I didn't eat.? And the girl with dark hair said to the gentleman yes yes they ate one plate and left the other then the other blonde girl came and took our order and said that we had eaten half and half I said no impossible you can also double check the plates we ate a piece but in the end we spat, and she gave me back the money for the other roll but anyway they didn't even apologize or something like that 😅 Plus the whole evening we both had stomach aches but badly.... nothing I was shocked by these attitudes the way of working I don't recommend this place to anyone because it's really horrible especially the service!!!
