We also exchanged a few words with the owner of the facility, Giorgio, a very polite, friendly and elegant person, who totally reflects the style of the location. 30/03/2024: Avete visto la serie Netflix “Midnight dinner”? Se siete Nippofili sicuramente si, ecco questo posto è cosi: una taverna izakaya nel quartiere di Shinjuku di Tokyo hem volevo dire a piazzetta ascensione a Napoli. Il Proprietario parla, ma non a vanvera, racconta ti spiega fa teatro (non kabuki fa teatro napoletano!) ti trascina per forza nella sua vita di napoletano orientale ed è MAGNIFICO. La moglie cucina DIVINAMENTE e fa le porzioni della nonna (quindi dimenticate il sushi e il sashimi sottili…cca stann è cutulett!) piatti abbondati saporiti gustosi e pieni di tradizione (la loro ma servita a modo nostro!). Takoyaki e gyoza sono SPAZIALI Sushi e sashimi ottimi (ma come dice il proprietario il pesce buono sanno comprarlo e abbatterlo tutti la specialità è il riso, l’alga nori morbida e le porzioni ) Soba all’astice buoni ma la prossima volta lascio spazio all frittura che non ho provato ! Andate a regalarvi una serata prenotate con LARGO anticipo e sopratutto NON ABBIATE FRETTA si mangia piano, con le mani, sic icona al momento quindi è tutto tiepido. Ci vuole tempo per fare una cosa fatta bene! Ps: attenti al battesimo del wasabi ❤️

11/02/2024: Gennaro ti porta a passeggio per tutta una serata. Ti fa entrare nella filosofia del locale a piccoli passi senza annunci, tu ordini e lui ti spiega, tu mangi e lui ti consiglia. Poi interviene a gamba tesa e ti fa male, ti trasporta lì dove non avresti mai pensato e quel dolore, che al 99% senti solo se sei uomo, ti apre un nuovo mondo e da quel momento la percezione del gusto nella cucina giapponese è cambiato. Posto unico, provare per credere.

02/04/2024: The food was quite good but the service was terrible... we started ordering the menu through our own oversight and also including dinner dishes, no one came to explain to us how it worked... if it weren't for that waiter who as soon as the superior arrived gave him a elbowed in the side so as not to make us understand that with some dishes ordered we would have paid the dinner formula... all to take advantage of it 👏🏻... we asked kindly at the entrance if it was possible to eat only us and not the child unfortunately he doesn't eat these things as much as before to take him to the restaurant we made him eat... and he remained nearby all the time, we were also anxious about making him drink some water from our glass... not only that, when paying, this superior always turned around in a grumpy and arrogant way... place to absolutely avoid 👍🏻

20/01/2024: It's a wonderful experience every time I go there. I've known him for years now and I wouldn't change him for anyone else, which is why he is among my favorites and will remain so forever. really excellent welcome, always available and comfortable in helping the customer, together with the director who is a truly valuable person. splendid place, nothing to say and for the food I don't know what to say other than heavenly, every time the quality of what we eat increases. they deserve 5 stars overall and it is certainly helpful for those who want to try something sublime.

06/01/2024: TENDER una garanzia… il nuovo look è davvero bello e il cibo come al solito divino una cucina che bada al solito senza fronzoli ottimi i Rolls e i crudi molto buona tutta la selezione dei cotti Buona carta dei vini Bravi ragazzi!

24/03/2024: Ci siamo stati tante volte, l'ultima ieri sera. Il sushi è molto buono, di qualità, con tanta personalità dello chef: un "fusion" che non è una accozzaglia di cose ma una serie di piatti ben studiati e bilanciati! La formula all you can eat è onestissima: puoi ordinare solo un tot di piatti per volta, ma quasi tutto è ordinabile più volte e non hai limiti di ordinazioni. Non crei sprechi, il ristorante riesce a gestire la formula e noi siamo contenti perché mangiamo quanto vogliamo, ma soprattutto bene e senza mai sentirci "limitati" e costretti nelle scelte come può accadere altrove. Il personale oltre ad essere cortese e professionale è anche tanto simpatico, sia i camerieri che i proprietari sono alla mano, divertenti ed a fine serata praticamente scherzavamo noi cinque con loro e la brigata di cucina, visto che eravamo seduti al tavolo accanto allo chef! Un locale semplice ma curato, il mio punto di riferimento quando voglio mangiare un buon sushi a Castellammare (ed io tra Castellammare e dintorni li ho provati un po' tutti!) Una piccola "nota" la voglio fare allo chef, anche lui molto simpatico: gli abbiamo chiesto se poteva farci due "fantasie dello chef" diverse, ci ha tirato fuori due dei piatti più buoni della serata! Complimenti a tutti, ci rivediamo presto!

06/04/2024: Today we went with some friends to this very familiar and cozy sushi place, we are very happy with this place. Both the nigiri and sashimi are quite fresh and are super good. Will we come back yes or yes!!!

03/04/2024: It was a truly fantastic experience! The venue is beautiful and the food delicious. There were four of us, we split everything we ordered to try as many things as possible and it was the right choice. The service is friendly and attentive. It is a different experience that is absolutely worth having and we will return as soon as possible!

14/02/2024: Valentine's Day ruined thanks to Uji. I ordered via Just Eat for 8pm, the restaurant changes for 8.30pm and it's fine. Order arrived at 10pm after countless phone calls to the restaurant. The problem is that in the meantime I had to go to work. Shameful, never again!

11/02/2024: Ate from home, compliments both the poké and the sushi box were very good, the tuna from the poké was spectacular, the tuna from the box was a little dry but still good, I will definitely call again❤️

The sandwiches are good but nothing special.. among other things, I ordered a sandwich and one arrived with different ingredients.. prices a little too high, a sandwich with hamburger, croquettes and a slice of raw ham €14 ( I didn't understand where this ham sandwich came from since it's not even on the menu... below you'll find the photo of what was supposed to arrive and what actually arrived... I'm writing to reply here to owner. You're right, they are slightly dated photos that Google never let me publish some time ago, only recently I appealed and managed to publish them.
