05/02/2026: Finally, a place where the fried food—and I say this as an Ascoli native—is made using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The pizzas are also excellent, with a variety of tasty variations.
04/02/2026: As soon as you step inside, you feel a sense of home and are enveloped in a wave of warmth, aided by the furnishings and the paintwork, mixing warm wood tones with cooler walls, echoing the vaulted ceilings with a very unique yet perfectly matched light green!
The initial impression is right, as is the professional, extremely kind service (a rare and never a given these days), playful but never intrusive!
Okay, but will the dishes and courses be up to par?
Don't worry, high-quality ingredients and expertly cooked, the Ascoli olives are among the best in the city. The cremini could perhaps be made a little smaller for my personal taste, but the thing that struck me most was the
Vitel tonne, which in my opinion is the best I've ever eaten! The sauce that accompanies it features enormous capers that not only add flavor but also add color to the dish, along with the very thinly sliced, rosy veal! The hand-sliced ham is a real treat, served with a very leavened cacciatora!
Highly recommended!
I'll also leave you with some photos, which unfortunately don't convey what your eyes would capture, but they'll give you an idea!
To say I'll be back is superfluous. Oh, and the bill surprised me: it was lower than the average in the city, but the quality was superior!
