09/02/2025: Passing through Venzone I stopped here for lunch. Since I am a foreigner, the waitress was very kind in explaining the typical dishes to me with a very friendly smile. The frico with polenta was very good as was the tiramisu. Good and nice. 😃

27/01/2025: In the direction of Tarvisio it is always pleasant to stop at the Carnia hotel bar for a coffee break. Ample parking, staff always attentive and friendly. Normal prices!

10/01/2025: While walking in Venzone we stopped for a coffee and asked if it was possible to have lunch. Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food. Starter, pappardelle with venison ragù, pork fillet..... We didn't have the opportunity to taste the desserts because the kitchen had reopened after the New Year's rest. In the restaurant the grilled meat is cooked in a spectacular fireplace.

12/01/2025: During a visit to the beautiful village of Venzone we came across this little shop where you can enjoy delicious pizzas by the slice. Stuffed focaccias or pizza with a tall, soft side dish are also excellent. We took some slices of pizza and the stuffed focaccia to take away and when we ate it, after having heated it up, it was as if it had just been baked. Friendly and pleasant staff. We will definitely be back.

13/02/2025: Kleine aber feine Osteria mit direktem Blick auf die alte Stadtmauer von Venzone. hübscher kleiner Garten um im Sommer der Mittagshitze zu entfliehen. je 4 Tische im Innen- und Außenbereich. kreative, regionale und saisonale Küche, sehr kleine Karte. Tolle, sehr moderat kalkulierte Weine. Familiengeführt mit tollem Musikgeschmack (Rock und Pop der 80er und 90er).

Alma Living Hotel al Girarrosto

11/03/2025: Room price increased when we arrived because there were 2 of us. However, we slept in a small room at 75e, the first evening, but we had to pay 100e. Inadmissible.
The next day the staff forgot to transfer the luggage to the new room, I had to call the manager at 9pm when I got to the room.....because the luggage was missing.
The table service is not friendly, and the breakfast is not plentiful unless perhaps you get up at 7am.
The restaurant room is pretty with beautiful warm colors.
The rooms are pretty.
The hotel is on the edge of a busy road and the exterior has no charm, it is even quite neglected.
Large, practical parking space available.
16/02/2025: The rooms are spotless and very spacious. The strong point is the Spa, which is also very clean and well equipped (sauna, Turkish bath, emotional showers, hydromassage)... Come out regenerated. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the pizza was excellent. Recommended experience

20/01/2025: Dopo aver visitato il borgo ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questa locanda. Per antipasto prosciutto crudo eccellente e stracciatella. Per primo tagliatelle dello chef con verdure e speck croccante, a seguire stinco di vitello e patate. Veramente tutto ottimo. Servizio eccellente, tanta cortesia. Assolutamente consigliato
31/12/2024: locale vicino al comune ottima la cioccolata e lo strudel il caffè è stato fatto corretto anche se non chiesto ma era ottimo. Posto da tornarci

05/10/2024: We stayed there as a stopover. We received a friendly welcome, the rooms were clean and there was a restaurant nearby that was delicious.
We had our two dogs with us (nothing was charged extra) and after a few minutes' walk we took a look at the city.
Breakfast was sufficient (you can have more if you ask for it or the landlord brings cheese/sausage to the table if you want). Very good for the price.
