27/04/2026: Agriturismo Al Cjar, in Lestizza, is located in a quiet area. From the road, you can see the sign advertising the place, which is open Friday to Sunday. Taking the dirt road, you reach the parking lot. A flowerbed with trees divides the parking area, then the entrance with a beautiful round table on the right and a characteristic cjar (cart).
There are also a swing and a slide for children to play on... it's just a shame the playground is in the sun...
You can sit under the porch to enjoy food and drinks, then inside there is a beautiful, large, clean, tidy, and tastefully furnished room with several tables.
The dishes were beautiful and plentiful, very good. In our case, we had an appetizer of mixed cured meats (prosciutto, salami, coppa, goat salami) and cheeses of various ages for two.
Two glasses of prosecco, a liter of water, and a trio of first courses: tagliatelle with duck ragù, stuffed tortelloni, and lasagna with chard, and to finish, a strawberry grape sorbet and a coffee.
Very kind and helpful staff, welcoming atmosphere, gluten-free menu, fair prices...super place!! 👍👍

15/10/2023: Sono venuto in questo posto dopo molto tempo che non ci tornavo. Me lo ricordavo assai ruspante, un osteria come quelle di una volta con una cucina semplice e tradizionale. Devo dire che sono rimasto piuttosto deluso. A me piacciono i posti un po’ rustici, così come apprezzo i sapori antichi che ricordano la cucina della nonna. Qua, invece, mi è stato proposto un modo di mangiare più che altro vecchio. I piatti li ho trovati pesantissimi, sia il mio frico che le costine di mia moglie erano unti e difficili da digerire, mi è sembrato che il locale puntasse più sulla quantità che sulla qualità . Servizio piuttosto lento e prezzo troppo alto per quello che abbiamo mangiato, cose che dalla nonna, appunto, mangio assai meglio. Non credo ci tornerò… peccato perché il posto è bello…

17/03/2024: All’ultimo secondo abbiamo prenotato in questo agriturismo, è sempre un problema trovare un posto che cucini per celiaci o che presti attenzione alla contaminazione.
Ci siamo trovati benissimo!!
Piatti squisiti, abbondanti e ben presentati, personale attento e cortese, locale pulito.
Ci tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglierò!
04/12/2023: This restaurant is out of the way, but definitely worth making an effort to visit. Beware however: it is only open Friday evening and Sat/Sun lunch and dinner. The owner/chef seems to run it as a labour of love. You get excellent and very tasty food, original dishes, friendly service and all at a reasonable price. The chef is always available to talk to if you want anything special (such as if you have an allergy) and very flexible and helpful.
