05/04/2026: We had lunch there at Easter. The restaurant is charming, with a garden and adjacent pond. The food was excellent, with high-quality meat and fish dishes. The wines and desserts were very good, and the staff was attentive and professional. We'll definitely be back.

There's so much to write about, from the service to the food, from the wine list to the ambience...but I'll just say try it and believe it!
An interesting fusion of Roman and Friulian cuisine, with excellent ingredients on both sides.
Certain details, for those who notice them, make the meal very enjoyable and, above all, free from the usual monotony that reigns supreme in the area.
(A "Minestrone" with venison morsels will send your taste buds to another planet.)
Attentive and professional service, and, to be clear, there's a lot of experience here.
Excellent value for money.

13/04/2026: After months of wanting to try this restaurant, I finally went for a romantic dinner. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, especially the service and the cold, disorganized location, which didn't quite match the culinary offerings we found superb. We'd reported a lactose intolerance for both of us about a week in advance, but this information was effectively ignored at the dinner table. The menu offered only one lactose-free option and there was very little willingness to adapt dishes (our requests were simple exclusions, not complex modifications). The most absurd moment was dessert: even though we knew we couldn't have them, we were still served a small, "free" pastry, specifying that it contained lactose. An incomprehensible gesture. It's a shame, because with a little more attention—even just preparing a simple alternative (e.g., dark chocolate)—the experience would have been completely different.

20/03/2026: It's a beautiful manor house with an adjoining private chapel. It's surrounded by greenery on the hillside in Buttrio (UD). The restaurant area is used for parties and special occasions. Reservations are required.
30/11/2025: One star because it couldn't be given less, evening 18, in the disco room.
Beautiful location but horrible management, the owner practically on guard and decides what to do in a persistent, at times suffocating, manner. The sound system didn't work, nor did the lighting system, despite this, he didn't do anything to call someone who could fix it, instead constantly blaming the DJ who, using his own equipment, managed to get the evening off to a great start without a catastrophe.
This place is not recommended for private parties.

29/08/2025: The most beautiful place in the world, practically my home.
The cats are the main attraction, while the glasses of wine are the highlight of all. Weird people and alcoholism are rampant in the best of Friuli Venezia Giulia. I only drink Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Worth mentioning is a very friendly employee, she has curly hair and a great appetite for a drink.

07/04/2026: We ate really WELL.
The place is great for those who want some peace and quiet; the loudest noise is the birds chirping.
I had tortelloni stuffed with nettles and served with Montasio fondue, which were truly excellent. The tartare (a tartare) appetizer was truly meticulously prepared and served with a memorable whipped butter.
Impeccable service, always prompt and never intrusive, just the right amount of friendly.
The price was absolutely in line, perhaps even low, for the quality they offer.
It was a lovely discovery (our friends from Trieste took us there, a great meeting point halfway between our two stops), and I think it will definitely become one of our regular stops.
Well done!
PS) I didn't rate the rooms because we only ate there.

01/09/2025: Google Maps says the bar is open until 1:00 AM, but the bar door says they're closed on Sundays and Mondays. Please update the hours so people don't experience these problems.

17/06/2025: Este restaurante se encuentra en el Castello di Buttrio, pero bajo gestión separada. Es muy bueno con un menú innovador. Pasta, carne y pescado son todos buenos aquí. El entorno en la terraza es muy hermoso. Fue una gran comida y Fabiano hace un gran trabajo con el servicio.

01/03/2025: Esperienza top! Ambiente molto curato e piacevole, personale simpatico ed efficiente. Cibo davvero buono. Gli hamburger strepitosi, carne di altissima qualità. D’altronde per un locale che si chiama 80/20, ovvero la percentuale di carne magra (80) e quella grassa (20), non può essere diversamente! Super consigliato!! 5 stars!

La Polsade delle streghe

02/12/2024: Una vera Osteria, dove passare momenti spensierati con chi si desidera: potete portare chiunque alla Polsade perché farete solo bella figura (amici, famiglia, partner, affari). Il cibo è squisito con un menu chiaro e semplice scritto alla lavagna.
Noi eravamo una tavola da 10 persone: dagli abbondanti tagliolini alla San Daniele alla pasta profumatissima ai porcini , dal frico sensazionale al guanciale da urlo, dalla polenta davvero buona con tutte le verdure fatte come a casa, al caffè fatto con amore tutti abbiamo pulito i piatti!
Ci è dispiaciuto dover andare via di fretta perché avevamo un evento di beneficenza importante, visto che Mario si è seduto con noi e ha condiviso momenti di vita delicati come quelli che andavamo a sostenere noi nel pomeriggio.
Davvero una persona accogliente e sensibile, ti fa sentire come a casa.
Torneremo per goderci un po' con calma e farci coccolare dalle streghe: gliene regaleremo anche noi una appena possibile.

21/09/2024: Osteria caratteristica, menù giornaliero esposto su lavagna nel quale si ritrovano piatti semplici e tipici della cucina locale.
Una menzione per le paste, abbondanti ma preparate con sapienza e ingredienti freschi, senza risultare assolutamente pesanti! Ottimo il frico e squisito il tiramisù.
Servizio cordiale e simpatico, prezzo onestissimo.

19/11/2023: Accompagnati da un genitore del gruppo del calcio, abbiamo fatto visita a questo agriristoro, non grande ed è consigliabile prenotare.
Tutto di casa, ci ha portato salame, pancetta, formaggi vari, polpettine di carne, verdure miste e sott'olio, patatine fritte a fettine con la buccia, frittata con le verdure e quando lo stomaco stava per dir basta, è arrivato il frico con la polenta..... squisito. Persona gentile e disponibile conto più che onesto.
