14/02/2026: This restaurant in Villa Verruchio is a very interesting place to try, offering sophisticated recipes based on traditional methods, as well as original and creative interpretations of many dishes, and a fish-based menu. I think it's a must-try! The staff is friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, on busy days, service can be slow, and background noise is normal, but only when the restaurant is completely full. In summer, the rear garden area is very beautiful, with several tables available, even for large groups, and a lawn and a few trees. Parking is available in their private courtyard, but if it's full, there's a large free public parking lot 50 meters away. Wheelchair-accessible entrance. Reservations are recommended, especially on holidays, even a few days in advance.

20/01/2026: Thanks to the discount offered by TheFork, I wanted to try this restaurant, located about a half-hour drive from Rimini. Upon our arrival, they seated us at one of the outdoor tables, shaded by a thick hedge. We decided to start with their mixed crostini and a cheese tasting accompanied by jam and honey. We continued with a classic sliced ​​steak and scortichini. I must say, everything was spectacular. It's certainly not Michelin-starred, but it doesn't claim to be either. And what it does offer, it does more than excellently. I'd also add that the welcome and service are worthy of the best hospitality you could expect. The staff was professional and attentive to every detail. Then there was Leone, the "beast" of the place, who deserves 5 stars alone! :) We still have to try the first courses and desserts, so we'll have to come back! Update 2026: As promised, we're back, and I have to say I stand by everything I said previously. The food is as good as I remembered, and the welcome, as always, is impeccable!

11/01/2026: I went for lunch today for my wife's birthday, and I can tell you my experience. It was a truly wonderful restaurant. We were immediately greeted warmly by the owner. The space is very small, so there weren't many tables. I think it seats 40 people max. But I must say, the ambience was meticulously designed, with a wonderful painting at the entrance. Go and see it, I won't tell you which one... Moving on to the food, it was excellent quality and a great price. For my first course, I had fazzoletti with gorgonzola, for my second course, a sliced ​​steak with pepper and rosemary, delicious rare, and for my side, bresaola, parmesan, and arugula. Everything was excellent. Quality food. Really well cooked. The bathroom was beautiful too 😊😊😊. An excellent experience that will definitely see me return. Rating 10

The stuffed camel that follows us everywhere was immediately satisfied with water and food, which, as you can see from the photos, he thoroughly enjoyed. Us? A riot of authentic, delicate, sensationally delicious flavors, infinitely excellent in their simplicity. Gnocchi al fossa, 10 out of 10. Lasagnetta verde, 10 out of 10. Tagliatella al ragout, beyond 10 out of 10. My palate almost went crazy, but it was shocking that we didn't feel weighed down at all. The bill was decidedly more than fair. Congratulations, truly excellent.

15/02/2026: Good evening, I am writing because I am disappointed and saddened by our experience at the Mastin Vecchio restaurant, having come for dinner as part of a stay package with the hotel, with a reservation at 9:30 pm. We waited about 15 minutes for a table (but even though it was Valentine's Day, I understand completely). We sat down at the table, mentioning that my partner is celiac (something we have mentioned several times at the hotel), asking the waiter for advice on what she could eat. The response was "ah well, you certainly know better what you can eat." We ordered 3 courses (as per the package) and I would like to point out that the first thing we were served was 2 Entrecôte dishes (with gluten), so we pointed this out and it was replaced with a raw ham rolled around a slice of radicchio. The appetizer arrived after a while and wasn't bad. The first one served to us at 11 (while people who had arrived later than us were already eating) consisted of a saffron risotto (I don't remember the other ingredients), hard. but edible, as for my cappelletto in brodo, however, it was inedible to say the least, with broth that was more water than broth and tasteless on all sides, oh we had to stop the second courses because at 11:15 with the room half empty we realized the time, and forgive me, I understand Valentine's Day, the customers and the difficulty in preparing gluten-free dishes while paying attention, but such a long wait with such an empty room... well, when we got to the cash register we asked if we had to pay anything (we knew that drinks and cover charge were extra) but €10 as a bill was quite unexpected, especially since we didn't take advantage of the second courses, I expected at least a discount, I break a lance to the owner (I think, based on the dress) very competent and friendly, and to the very kind waiters even if some were not very attentive, I hope my review can help you improve, because that evening unfortunately I wasn't the only one with the same idea.
