06/09/2025: We had dinner at RISTORANTE PIZZERIA BETTOLINO. The atmosphere is very cozy and informal, and you immediately feel welcome.
The service was extremely friendly, courteous, and competent. I ordered a pizza – and it was truly the best I've eaten on my Italian vacation.
The prices are unbeatable and the quality is absolutely top-notch.
A real highlight – I highly recommend Bettolino and would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area!

20/08/2025: Outside, you're greeted by a pond with a waterfall and goldfish. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is air-conditioned, the interior is welcoming, and there's also seating available on the veranda. I was surprised to find knives at the table, and the menu offers more desserts than other similar restaurants. BUT: the water served at the table is in a glass bottle with the restaurant's logo but is not sealed. It could easily be tap water, in which case it would be absurd to charge for it. I urge a general cleaning since there were cobwebs and the windows are clearly not clean.

A very charming and traditional place, I really enjoyed it.
Excellent food.

15/08/2025: Took a detour just to go and have Indian food in Novellara due to thriving Sikh community that have brought the food, tradition and Indianness in this place.
Place : Slightly outside of Novellara.
Food : Absolutely loved it. You might get both the flavors of regular Indian restaurant and the taste of Dhaba. Overall, the taste, the flavors and the quality of food was fulfilling.
Price : You are in for a surprise. Rather a good one. Full paisa 💰 vasool.
Ambience : Ok.
Service : Acceptable

22/07/2025: I'll start with the atmosphere, because it's spectacular both inside and out. Located in the square, it offers a stunning view of the town center. The service is excellent; both the bartenders and waiters are incredibly friendly. The food is what it is...it's not made by God, but it's not horrible either; I'd say it's acceptable.

21/09/2025: We stayed and dined there for several years, until 2024. Excellent location, helpful owner, reasonably clean rooms, but... pizza and paella really weren't up to par with previous years, it must have been a "stressful evening", but above all the outdoor parking lot with a late-night surprise of a broken window.
17/09/2025: The hotel is a bit lacking in both hospitality and quality.
The breakfast was very sad, with bagged croissants in the room and a pod coffee machine in the common hallway.
Obviously, the quality justifies the very reasonable price.
I didn't try the restaurant because it was closed.

30/08/2025: A great place of you are Punjabi or Indian and like North Indian Punjabi sweets and snacks. Here you have a great choice and good for take away. The taste was quite unique home made style. We came to the Gurudhwara and the wanted to try the lassi and came to this place. This shop is there since 2006 and the speciality is motichur laadu. They also have roti, paratas great place. We also met Mr. Paramjit Chahal the founder of this place, very down to earth and friendly.

22/08/2025: Never again. The bed was okay.
No service. The window shutters couldn't be locked (broken brackets) and closed on their own. The ceiling and walls were covered in smudges from sticky tape. The bathroom was past its best. The toilet seat was loose. The shower wasn't clean. And the "breakfast" was very limited. There wasn't much selection.
16/08/2025: We stayed at this property, which is ideally located near Parma, Bologna, Modena, and Ferrara.
The welcome was friendly and professional, and the staff were very attentive during our stay.
A bonus: a large pool that allows you to cool off in hot weather...and a sublime breakfast to start the day!
I highly recommend it!

05/07/2025: Siamo venuti di sabato perché mi avevano riferito che qui la pizza era buonissima... Quasi l'opposto in realtà. Innanzitutto abbiamo trovato un servizio scadente, camerieri che prendevano l'ordine delle comande senza il giusto ordine e di conseguenza persone che erano arrivate dopo di noi già stavano consumando prima di noi. Dopo che siamo andati a riferire il problema arrivano le pizza, la mia personalmente era praticamente tutto bordo e la pizza mah forse nei miei sogni me la sarei gustata quella sera. È cura di un cameriere/a avvertire il cliente che il bordo è ampio e chiedere se si gradisce stirata. Parliamo del sapore: ho ordinato una Brontolona, 13€, con pistacchio e pesto di pistacchio, avrei pagato anche 15€ se ci fosse stato davvero, pochissimo e neanche si sentiva. La ricotta quasi insapore e tutto era coperto dal sapore della mortadella. Quindi MAMMA MIA, Mai PIÙ!
23/05/2025: Mi dispiace assegnare un voto basso, ma trovo assurdo fare pagare un coperto in una normale pizzeria con tovagliette e tovaglioli di carta la bellezza di 3 euro a persona...questo non è altro che un modo per incassare di più senza spese ( neppure il costo della lavanderia)...ripeto assurdo...

La Nuova Conchiglia

24/02/2025: Prima volta alla Conchiglia su invito di amici. All'ingresso subito accompagnati al tavolo prenotato (sala ancora mezza vuota date le ore 12:00). Dopo 5 minuti arriva un primo cameriere e prende le prenotazioni elettronicamente ma ci fa capire che è in difficoltà... (che proseguirà poi su altri tavoli snobbando il ns. senza giustificazioni..). Nel giro di 10 minuti un collega porta da bere e nel frattempo arriva altra gente. Sone le 13:15 ma al ns. tavolo non arriva più nulla (affettato, 5 pizze, un torello). Capiamo che qualcosa non funziona quindi mi alzo a chiedere info dato che altri commensali arrivati dopo avevano quasi finito il pranzo ma da noi nemmeno tornano a chiedere nuove bibite... Poi alle 13:30 un terzo cameriere ci porta l'affettato (che ci costerà 30 euro = max 2 fette di crudo a testa ... Assurdo!) . Alle 13:45 un quarto cameriere porta tortelli e pizze (prezzi nella media).
Alla cassa ci chiedono com'è andata e palesiamo il ns. dissenso: con un sorriso ci presenta il conto senza scuse né sconti..
L'unica nota positiva è la qualità del cibo ma per via della cordialità, dell'organizzazione ed attenzione al cliente c'è moooolto da rivedere.
Location priva di ogni privacy e priva di corridoi di passaggio tra i tavoli.
Una persona diversamente abile trova serie difficoltà di manovra.
Non tornerò più.
