28/03/2024: Charming place, in a fin de siecle environment with balanced prices. Correggio salad with first choice Parma ham and good selection of balsamic vinegar. Steak and cut cooked to desired point and perfect taste. Delicious roasted potatoes. Apple pie, crumbly and lighter than a croissant. Friulian wine The tales of quality and correct cost. Fast and light service.
Overall 5 stars to be repeated.

06/01/2024: I purchased a 1 kg classic flavor artisanal panettone at a cost of 35 euros. Good but given the price I expected much better. The packaging is minimalist to say the least so as not to call it cheap. With these prices it is worth buying a starry panettone, at least you make an adequate impression for the expense....

27/09/2023: Very nice restaurant that is somewhat spared from the tourist crowds. The food is great and of course the ambience too. The best location to end the day comfortably in Varenna.
Food is a bit expensive, but that's also what makes the location special.
10/09/2023: Stephano was very helpful and kind with a cheerful attitude. It was a great day to spend in Varenna (€30 euros day pass) by the pool with a view of the lake. Includes sun bed, pool access, shower / changing room access and towel hire.
It is 4 stars instead of 5 because the pool isn’t heated and non members had to lie down at the back rather than at the front of the lake.

08/10/2023: Situato in piazza garibaldi a correggio.è una paninoteca ha pochi posti all'interno,con tavoli all'aperto.offre nel menù un vasto assortimento di panini,in più 4 tipologie di scelta di pane.ottimo anche l'erbazzone e come bevande tra birre,vino,coca cola o fanta e acqua.prezzi ottimi ve lo consiglio.5 stelle meritate.

Era un giorno di pioggia a Correggio. Io e il nonno sapevamo già cosa fare:
- Gramigna olimpia
- Tris di tortelli
- Cappelletti in brodo
- La disco volante
- Uova alla diavola
- Cipolline all'aceto balsamico
- Patate schiacciate con l'aglio
- Cotoletta
- Coccotella
- Dolce mattone...
Il tutto accompagnato da fiumi di vinello frizzante alla spina, mezze di Campanone e aneddoti di Ermes.

07/01/2024: Dopo oltre 20 anni ritorno con amici in questo storico locale, che dagli anni '90 non ha avuto alcuna evoluzione pur rimanendo legato alla tradizione emiliana con piatti buoni/discreti.
Antipasti a buffet non un gran ché è decisamente "fuori dal tempo" .
Tortelli molto buoni. Gnocco fritto buono ed affettati discreti (porzioni affettati scarsissime. . Fette ben distinte e non sovrapposte che a fatica coprivano il vassoio )
Dolci sufficienti / discreti
Servizio scortese ed inaccettabile (come sempre).
Considerando che il locale ha chiuso il 31.12.2023, nelle ultime settimane dell'anno c'è stata una "processione" di nostalgici e personaggi pubblici che hanno osannato questo locale (non so con quali parametri di valutazione) che già dagli anni '90 non è mai andato oltre la sufficienza.
