20/03/2025: Mediocre food served by an attentive waitress who unfortunately had too many diners to look after alone with a young boy to help her. Basically, appetizers of cold cuts served with giardiniera in oil and spring onions in balsamic vinegar (I don't think they're homemade) with savory pie, disappointing first courses (especially the pisarei with beans) in modest portions, second courses that almost everyone didn't finish, including roasts that were too dry and sliced beef cooked with bitter and mushy courgettes for a price worthy of a starred restaurant...NO I'M NOT IN.
I don't think that with this system they will be able to return to the good old days.

26/01/2025: Memorable experience and to be repeated. When I go out for dinner I look for atmosphere, high quality dishes, service that meets expectations. I found all this in Riva. Quiet atmosphere, a well-kept and welcoming environment. What about the dishes... excellent quality and the right quantity. We ate fish and meat: all excellent. Congratulations to Carla Aradelli, a chef who stands out for originality and quality!

15/02/2025: Partiamo dalle note positive. Ambiente curato, lista dei vini di qualità e con buona varietà. Poi, però, la proposta culinaria, che appare varia, risulta di qualità molto rivedibile. Cotture non in linea con la descrizione del piatto. Pesce stracotto e arrosto di oca che si risolve in una preparazione con cottura a bassa temperatura e consistenze dissimili dall’ arrosto. Salumi di qualità, dosi abbondanti. Quando si fanno osservazioni sui piatti è buona norma prendere atto e non inventare improbabili scuse che risultano più sgradevoli del problema riscontrato. Ampio margine di miglioramento per cucina e servizio.
09/02/2025: Situato nei locali nei quali tanti anni fa albergava una schietta trattoria piacentina questo ristorante è stato ben ristrutturato senza stravolgerne la tipologia architettonica. Il risultato è un elegante ristorante diviso in diverse sale di diverse dimensioni su due piani. La cucina è ottima, materia prima di buona qualità preparata con cura, vasta carta dei vini personale efficiente e professionale e per finire un corretto rapporto qualità prezzo. Decisamente consigliato

18/03/2025: Typical rustic place at the foot of the hills..there is no menu and wine list.but family management.and friendly..clean place with traditional dishes and raw materials of excellent quality
It is a relaxing place..and well cared for..for children there are goats, donkeys and other animals to greet and large open spaces to have fun.
10/03/2025: It reflects the farmhouse in the authentic sense of the term, you are hosted by kind and helpful staff, the dishes you can order are listed and off you go...
I must say that all the dishes served were excellent, compliments to the cook, she truly reminds us of good home cooking!
Special mention for the bread, which is homemade... and you can taste it, and the potato cake, which is also homemade and delicious!
The bitters, even the homemade ones... and excellent!
Value for money...super!
The only flaw... the dirt road that leads to the farmhouse needs to be looked at again... really very bumpy.

27/02/2025: For the first time I was served a size that satisfied my appetite, rather than just whet it. 😌 Homemade tiramisu can be felt... and makes the difference. Excellent music playlist...when I thought everything was already perfect, I even saw a cat chasing the owners! This is all next level. Thank you!

21/02/2025: Unforgettable place, given how disgusting the food was, I can't say that it's not worth it, I wish the chef would change his profession, perhaps construction sites would be right for him, and also the staff given that the two girls who serve, especially the blonde one, are anything but nice... better, next time for lunch I'll stop at the supermarket

Veniamo fatti accomodare nel portico di fronte al campo giochi e alla vista sulla valle.
Vista impagabile.
Arietta fresca.
Cosa volere di più?
Antipasto di salumi per 2 con gnocco fritto e giardiniera ottimo, tranne una sola cosa: gnocco fritto molto dolce, troppo! Forse è stato dimenticato il sale....
Tortelli burro e salvia per le due bimbe, buoni e morbidi; tagliatelle con ragù pasta di salame e zafferano, e tortelli ripieni di patate e speck, ottimi.
Poi una tartare di manzo con insalata e pomodori: anche lqui, a carne molto morbida e buona, ma era un pò sul dolce...
Infine 3 coppe di gelato al fiordilatte con vari topping, 2 torta sbrisolona e torta alle mele.
Tutto buono.
3 bottiglie di Chardonnay Barattieri, 3 amari e due caffè per un totale di 175,00 Euro.
Conto onesto e porzioni nella norma.
Vista pazzesca sulla vallata.
Merita una visita.
