21/06/2026: The Riva restaurant in Ponte dell'Olio is at the top of my personal list of the best restaurants I've tried. It's certainly not cheap—I can't go there every day or every week—but the price is entirely justified by both the dishes and the excellent wine list.
14/06/2026: It wasn't our first time, but today there were 11 of us for lunch, many of whom had never been to this restaurant before. As always, everything was perfect! I recommend it because the menu offers some very intriguing dishes, and I must admit, it's difficult to choose! We were all very happy. Thanks to Carla and Maurizio for making us feel so welcome.

09/06/2026: It's true that we're primarily interested in good food in terms of both quality and quantity (down with nouvelle cuisine!), and we found something we loved here. However, I must be honest and point out that entering the restaurant is a bit like stepping back into the 60s and 70s.
Everything we ate was delicious, accompanied by excellent table service 🔝.
25/05/2026: Impossible to book online, impossible to book by phone because they don't answer, impossible to go eat there.
Stuck in 1920!

06/04/2026: I was looking for a location for Easter Monday lunch and couldn't have found a better spot. A historic restaurant, just the way I like it: a few dishes, but all with a home-style flavor. Time stands still here. If you're looking for honest, no-frills Piacenza cuisine, Zingaro is the place to be.

08/06/2026: Artistic bar, lots of art on the walls. Very creative. Cappuccinos were great. Service was friendly and fast. Croissant was fresh. They can fill the croissant with different marmalade if you wish!
22/01/2026: What can I say about the Ponte dell'Olio station bar? It's a meeting place for everyone, with excellent, well-crafted aperitifs served with a wide selection of generous, well-prepared appetizers. The staff is very helpful and always friendly. It offers a wide range of services, including a tobacconist, ticket sales, slot machines, a giant television for sporting events, and a smoking room. Last but not least, they often organize events for their guests' enjoyment. I'd say anyone passing through Ponte simply can't miss the station bar.

04/08/2026: A disaster for both service and food. The pizza wasn't good after an hour's wait. Avoid at all costs.
26/07/2026: I attended a charity dinner! We found the pizza very good and crispy. The staff was kind and available to help everyone, even though the room was full. A great experience, worth repeating. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

A wonderful place on the hill, surrounded by greenery and animals, in a peaceful setting.
The hospitality and food were top notch! Everything was delicious and authentic. Special mention for everything: from the appetizers to the digestif, also homemade.
You can also purchase their wine and honey on site.
I don't know if you could find anything better anywhere.

17/05/2026: We went to this inn for lunch after a soccer match, 40 of us. We'd agreed on the menu the day before. The appetizer, first course, side dish, and jug of wine were included in the price.
Since the place was almost full, we expected friendly service, but instead the owner almost bothered us. I mentioned the presence of a celiac boy; it's okay to accept the possibility of bird flu, but she didn't even bother to make him a separate dish. The appetizer was shared, the second course was shared, the rice was inedible, and my son was fasting. Plus, she told us on the phone that the jug of wine was included, but then she added 3 euros per person at the end.
I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT GO BACK!

29/06/2025: Sicuramente uno tre migliori ristoranti della provincia di Piacenza. Cura del dettaglio, servizio curato, valorizzazione della tradizione, innovazione culinaria. Cantina d'eccellenza. Imperdibile il filetto di black angus.

23/04/2025: Buon ristorante cucina casereccia, c’è stato da aspettare un po’ x i secondi.. personale tanto accogliente del resto tutto perfetto!.
25/02/2025: Sono stato dai ragazzi della pattona qualche tempo fa in famiglia.
In poche parole una bellissima esperienza, composta da un menù dove non manca nulla e tutto è molto buono.
Il locale ti fa sentire a casa e con il bel tempo l'esterno è un valore aggiunto.
Ma il punto forte sono i proprietari di una bravura e gentilezza unica.
Infine il prezzo molto adeguato,se non addirittura sotto la media, in relazione alla qualità/quantità dei prodotti e del servizio.
Ritorneremo sicuramente,grazie per la vostra accoglienza
