21/12/2024: Dinner at the hotel restaurant for four people: me, my wife and two daughters under two years old. The epilogue of a nightmare evening: after an hour and a half of long waits and raw dishes we get up and leave reluctantly. It is never pleasant to leave halfway through dinner and you think about it 100 times before raising a fuss, however it is possible to tolerate and justify inefficiency in evenings with many seats and little time... tonight there were perhaps 5 families in the room. In addition we benefited from the stadium chants that came from the kitchen, with tones and themes decidedly not in line with the supposed elegance of the place. The only positive note was the present and courteous service. For the rest "Nightmare kitchens Caorso edition".

09/12/2024: Best fried pie I've ever tasted! The slightly rough dough creates this peculiarity which makes it absolutely unique!! High quality cured meats and side dishes!!!!!
I have eaten fried cake several times in different places and it has never made me crazy, perhaps also due to the difficulty in digestion etc.
As far as I'm concerned, this is absolutely the best in terms of quality and digestibility!!!
If I want to eat fried cake, for me "The cutting board" has no rivals!!!!
In addition to the always friendly and helpful staff!

05/11/2024: I was passing through with my 3 little dogs and stopped for a vegetable pizza. There were benches outside, the pizza was very good and despite several other customers the wait was very short

23/12/2024: Restaurant with typical Emilian/Piacenza cuisine located in the center of the town of Cortemaggiore. Characteristic and welcoming environment. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent cuisine and according to expectations. Obviously I recommend the local specialties, for example Piacenza cold cuts and tortelli to be accompanied with a good bottle of Lambrusco or Gutturnio. The price is restaurant-style, and therefore certainly not cheap, but in line with the quality and service.
22/12/2024: Excellent trattoria with typical Piacenza dishes. Lunch in company with the local Alpine group after the HACCP course. Absolute quality/price ratio. Recommended if you are in the area! Always returned with my Alpine friends for Christmas greetings lunch, as always it confirms itself as an excellent place, with top quality and excellent catering

04/01/2025: It wasn't bad. However, the karaoke during the meal was a bit noisy. It doesn't seem like a place to enjoy a quiet meal in the evening.
01/01/2025: We went to the New Year's Eve dinner with 10 people, during the evening there was entertainment and music.
Food quality quite disappointing and anonymous.
The really negative point of the evening, and reading various reviews it seems like a recurring problem, was however another one, namely the heating: The veranda where we had dinner was really very cold so much so that some people ate the dishes with their jackets on...
Considering the price and the service offered, I definitely wouldn't go back, sorry because the location is nice and well looked after both externally and internally but a comfortable temperature must be the basis of everything, nobody likes eating in the cold.
I would like to point out that the restaurant came to our aid by offering us a small reduction in the price given the heating problem, a gesture that was appreciated but which in any case did not influence the negative experience we had.
