Dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and meticulous attention to detail, both in presentation and flavor. Excellent first courses, quality meats, and truly delicious desserts. The service is friendly, discreet, and always smiling. A place where you can eat well and feel at home—highly recommended!

22/12/2025: A restaurant's reliability is judged first and foremost by its owners, and professionalism is certainly not a given here. We booked a table for 12 people for a Friday in February (booking months in advance), and when we arrived, the table wasn't available ("I cancelled the reservation because I couldn't remember whose name was on the table," quote). We gave it a second chance, and at that point, we booked a Christmas lunch for Sunday, December 21st, for 16 people. Luckily, we called on Saturday to confirm, given the previous reservation: the table wasn't available. Not a single apology, not an offer of preferential treatment. Needless to say, the province was packed for some cured meats and gnocco fritto. All the best.

26/10/2025: Consistently excellent for years. Everything is delicious and varied: from pizza to pasta to meat. Excellent beers and wines. Quick and knowledgeable. Eugenio is a true host who will give you the best advice, as is tradition.

02/09/2025: The atmosphere was relaxed; we came this summer evening, and it was nice and cool; I loved the view and the ambiance. As for the food, we ordered two portions of falafel, two amatricianas, and a 1.2kg tomahawk. Everything was delicious: the falafel came with a slightly spicy sauce that went perfectly; I think the amatriciana is one of the best I've ever eaten, on par with those found in Rome. The tomahawk, what can I say, was simply out of this world, perfectly cooked, incredibly tender... This place is a guarantee for meat. We'll definitely be back to try the pizza; that looked very inviting, too! Regarding the service, we initially had a small problem: they forgot to take our order. I think that can happen, especially since they were really busy that night; despite that, they treated us very well; the staff was kind and attentive. As soon as they realized the mistake, they tried to fix it in every way possible. Truly appreciated!

30/07/2025: The pizza is great. Every time I visit Traversetolo, I order here. 💯 I recommend it. Great variety of pizzas and very friendly service.

04/12/2025: A place of a thousand contradictions. Excellent aperitifs, ditto the bar, but at certain times of day, it's a seaport. The staff is friendly but doesn't always live up to expectations. I'd revamp the atmosphere.

10/01/2026: Vecchia Fucina is a well-kept little restaurant with a well-stocked bar area at the entrance. The interior is simple yet elegant, and the staff is professional and hospitable. The menu is simple yet traditional, with a wide selection of appetizers, first courses, and more. The tortelli are truly high-quality, and the cured meats are also delicious. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: As soon as you enter, you have the impression of being in an old place, which then reveals stark contrasts. The small room where we dined is acceptable, but the ordinary, non-fabric placemats and the cutlery rest are not. The ability to order only by cell phone is ill-suited to a place that claims to be traditional. Customers have to accept terrible water, which, according to the owner, is filtered, and there's no option to order bottled water. The waitresses address customers mechanically, without a smile, and seem forced to do a job they don't like. The owner, responsible for collecting the bill, doesn't listen to the customer's requests. As for the food, given that we're in a land of culinary excellence, it's acceptable, but no more. The torta fritta is good, the cured meats are average, and the lasagna with sour tomatoes and pumpkin tortelli are acceptable. Bulk wine is overpriced, as is water at 3 euros. At the checkout, they sell cigarettes like in a local grocery store. This is the first time a restaurant in the Parma area has disappointed me.
