09/05/2026: We had lunch at Trattoria della Pieve in the village of Moragnano; one of those small but charming villages, lost in the Parma hills, where time seems to have stood still and never passes...
And it's precisely in small and unexpected places like this that you can find the simple, tasty, authentic, and sincere cuisine typical of this area!
Spacious and comfortable, the staff is extremely kind and helpful!
The menu isn't extensive, but it features classic traditional Parma dishes; but do you really need a long list of dishes to demonstrate your passion for cooking?
There's also a pizzeria option, which we didn't try.
But now the real "stars" of the cuisine arrive: exquisite cured meats, accompanied by one of the best fried tortelli I've ever tasted in my life!!!!
And then the tortelli (potatoes, herbs, and tomato sauce) are SPECTACULAR!!! Not to mention the tagliolini with white ragù: A TASTY ASSORTED PICTURE!!!
The main courses were also good (tip steak, Parma rosé, and tagliata).
A wide selection of wines (both local and international).
In short, a FABULOUS lunch and absolutely satisfying!!!

23/04/2026: Rating the restaurant- excellent! We had pasta ragu bianco, lamb, calf, salad and dessert 😀 service was very kind and attentive. Amazing view of the mountains from the restaurant.

16/11/2025: There are positions that should be protected and supported by the region; there are people who should be rewarded for their presence and commitment in leading a wonderful, yet equally challenging and complex, company; this is certainly an example of excellence.
29/10/2025: I was there a few days ago with friends... it was a wonderful discovery! Hospitality, high quality, and beauty are the key words to describe Casanuova, and the owners' dedication and expertise are immediately apparent. It has everything it takes to become a "favorite place."

25/04/2026: We stopped today, three of us with our 2 dogs, we ate some excellent first courses, second courses, good and very tender meat and excellent homemade desserts, compliments, I recommend
25/04/2026: After hiking the Calabrian trail, stopping here for half an hour was very interesting.
Friendly staff, excellent selection of desserts.

22/01/2026: I went on August 14, 2025 and I had a great time, excellent food, friendly and helpful owner and more than fair price, of course you are in Schia not in Courmayeur and therefore you also have to adapt to the place, who is not comfortable and gives one star can also stay at home I would like to see what they eat at home LIDL cans.

12/08/2024: Il posto sarebbe bello, cibo nella media, peccato per il titolare veramente sgarbato e maleducato, Assolutamente sconsigliato.
04/08/2024: Prima cosa, non si possono non avere a disposizione i menu, quanto meno per verificare gli allergeni. Detto questo, al di là della cortesia in fase di prenotazione (sono ironico ) la qualità del cibo l ho trovata personalmente scarsa. Negli antipasti di salume salvo lo speck , il prosciutto crudo che è il punto forte della nostra Provincia non solo era insapore ma tagliato troppo spesso. Il cervo era amaro ed asciuttissimo. Non lo sconsiglio in toto perché è giusto che ognuno si faccia la sua idea: personalmente non tornerò di sicuro, poco più di una tavola calda

31/08/2025: Informal location, delicious food. The love for raw materials and cooking is truly amazing. The place is well-kept, clean, and tidy. You can also buy stone-ground flours from the ancient grains they grow. The fruit and vegetables are all their own. The flavors are truly hard to find. Many compliments. We will definitely be back.
