07/11/2025: A stellar Sunday lunch at this splendid restaurant...tortelli...magnificent plate of boiled meat with sauces...very fast staff...expedited service...and to top it all off...the owner who answers me in Piacenza dialect...too forward...highly recommended...next time I return to Italy I will definitely return...I returned today, November 7, 2025, just after arriving in Italy, and I gorged on the trolley of boiled meats and sauces, which were abundant and delicious. I finished with delicious zuppa inglese and black cherries in alcohol. Always special.

23/11/2025: Nightmare dinner! I had dinner with my wife, but unfortunately my meat dish wasn't good; the piece of meat that arrived wasn't fresh, but spoiled. Plus, that same night I felt ill. The wait staff, after seeing that I'd left the entire piece of meat, didn't bother to even ask me what was wrong... A place I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

03/11/2025: An excellent experience at this osteria in the heart of Salsomaggiore. The service was excellent, friendly, and welcoming. Perhaps a little slow, but that wasn't a problem for me. The dishes were all very good, as well as sophisticated in flavor, not always 100% traditional (and that's fine). The wine recommended by the host was good. The place was a little cold for my taste; I would have preferred a little more warmth. Still, I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

17/10/2025: The tagliatelle with tomato sauce failed (pre-made supermarket tomatoes). Lemon tagliolini were good, but nothing to write home about. The carpaccio and roast pork were very good. Overall, it was decent. We paid €75 for an appetizer, two first courses, and two second courses.

16/11/2025: A simple but well-maintained trattoria with truly friendly staff. Hamed served me, friendly and smiling, a truly great host. The prices are truly excellent! The typical local dishes are delicious; the gnocco fritto is so light it flies by... and then the coppa!!! The baked coppa is devastating! Ask for a double helping of bread, because mopping up the sauce with bread is the best way to kill it... a rare commodity these days... If you pass by Salso, stop by. It's recommended by someone who's away for 200 days a year for work! I'll definitely be back!

02/11/2025: We just returned from a wonderful Halloween weekend in this charming village relais. What can I say? A truly unique experience nestled in the mountains. The unique, authentic, and sincere setting, custom-renovated, gave us two phenomenal days that I will always cherish as indelible memories. I recommend everyone to try this experience, which is truly difficult to describe due to its uniqueness and rare beauty, but highly recommended. In times like these, we need places like these, born from the visionary and farsighted genius of people like the Corazza family, places that help you disconnect from the frenetic, stressful, and sometimes alienating world, at least for a while. Thank you again.

16/10/2025: A classy, ​​immense place nestled in the greenery between Fidenza and Salsomaggiore Terme. Friendly and welcoming staff. The small but pleasant wellness area features a Turkish bath, sauna, hot tub, and massage room. A delicious breakfast buffet is available.

03/06/2025: Sabato scorso siamo andati a Parma a trovare dei nostri amici che ci hanno portato in questo localino intimo, ma stupendo. Abbiamo mangiato fuori e abbiamo preso 3 antipasti: una torta salata con i carciofi, uno sformato al parmigiano e un formaggio caprino e marmellata di fichi. Già qui si vola alto 🤩. Poi noi, sotto consiglio della mia migliore amica, abbiamo preso gli gnocchi alla lavanda (super consigliati) e tagliolini al limone (anche questi molto buoni) . Poi abbiamo diviso due arrosti della settimana (maialino con una composta di prugne) ed infine i dolci (noi volevamo il gelato alle rose, ma ahimè l'avevan finito), abbiamo preso tutto il resto che c'era sul menù 🤣. Io ho preso il cioccorì (riso soffiato al cioccolato) e ammetto che era buono si, ma l'ho trovato particolarmente duro da masticare! Ad un certo punto mi faceva male la mandibola. Rimane il fatto che ci torneremo ad assaggiare anche il gelato alla lavanda 🥰

27/04/2025: Ai piedi del castello di Tabiano, non proprio comodo da raggiungere, questo locale consigliatoci è stata una ottima scelta. Ambiente intimo e caloroso, ben curato e con ottimo servizio. Abbiamo gustato dapprima degli affettati misti gustosissimi e li abbiamo fatti seguire da zuppa di legumi e coppa di maialino con potate al forno : piacere puro per il palato. Al posto del dolce abbiamo preferito delle scaglie di parmigiano stagionato e abbiamo pasteggiato bevendo una ottima bottiglia di gutturnio. Bravi ed onesti con il conto.

18/07/2025: I don't speak Italian and sat on the terrace. The two girls in the dining room saw me but didn't say anything. After at least five minutes, I realized I probably had to order inside, and that it was written in Italian on a sign by the door. It would have been more service-minded if they had just mentioned that instead of just leaving me there. The filling of the piadina delicata was fine. I didn't find the piadina itself as soft and tasty as I'm used to. It was perhaps a bit too cold. I wouldn't recommend it, even though the terrace is nice.

03/09/2025: Excellent all you can eat with very large portions, I received the largest gunkan I have ever seen, good quality of fish, excellent salmon I went early given the reviews about the slow service but during the week in September I was one of the very few customers.

04/10/2025: We ate lunch fit for kings and queens. Everything was plentiful, but above all, delicious and high-quality. We ordered a platter for two (which was enough for four) of cured meats, prosciutto, and coppa with torta fritta. For starters, gnocchi, tagliolini, and ravioli with nettles, all topped with delicious fresh porcini mushrooms. For main courses, we enjoyed pork shank, fried porcini mushrooms, and eggs with white truffle. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The service was quick and efficient; the waiter, Mohamed, was extremely kind and friendly. The bill was reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.

01/10/2025: DO NOT GO!!!! Terrible, I can't believe it stays open, abandoned, unkempt, with broken windows and ceilings, dilapidated furniture, low-quality food, thickly sliced ​​cold cuts, salami with skin, flavorless tagliolini. I was shocked!! A blower on the windowsill behind the tables, electrical wires left on the floor, yellowed plastic vinegar bottles from the 1900s... My coffee arrived with stains all over the cup and even on the saucer, and they left my husband's tray with the cup on it... I could go on... unacceptable!! It's a shame I can't attach photos.
