Discovered it by chance one evening on the recommendation of a friend.
The staff was super welcoming and, above all, friendly.
The food was incredibly good; everything I ordered amazed me.
Appetizers, first course, second course, dessert...everything was incredible ❤️
The wine list was truly excellent, with very fair prices if you know how to read between the lines.
I will recommend it to everyone and I sincerely hope to visit you again soon.
Thanks for a wonderful evening, keep up the good work!

12/10/2025: Excellent location for baptisms/confirmations/birthdays/weddings, very well-kept garden and tasty and carefully prepared food.
07/10/2025: Unfortunately, I stopped by to see the much-hyped botanical garden.
But it wasn't possible. I was told the garden is now in bloom, but I wasn't given the opportunity to visit the medicinal plant garden.
More than a garden (as advertised), it's a restaurant in every sense of the word.

16/10/2025: A classy, immense place nestled in the greenery between Fidenza and Salsomaggiore Terme. Friendly and welcoming staff. The small but pleasant wellness area features a Turkish bath, sauna, hot tub, and massage room. A delicious breakfast buffet is available.
19/08/2025: We chose this hotel because we are passionate about castles and villages.
We were amazed and captivated by the place where we stayed for one night. The staff was kind, welcoming, and hospitable.
The setting was charming, and the room was cozy, comfortable, and well-appointed.
The pool and spa were well-organized. The restaurant for breakfast served excellent food, fresh from their own crops.

06/10/2025: We had lamb chops and osso buco, each for €28. The osso buco had a maximum of 100 grams of meat, and it wasn't even tasty. It came with a bit of braised pumpkin. The two lamb chops were tough. They also came with a side of onion. This was by far the worst meal we had in our almost three weeks in Italy. Terrible value for money.
28/09/2025: We had a bad experience when we were asked to comment on a dish served to us, the owner responded to the criticism in a vulgar and offensive way, appearing unprofessional.

06/09/2025: Excellent trattoria with a daily menu for 14 euros, very popular with many workers, a fairly large dining room, very friendly staff, highly recommended for those in the area.
11/08/2025: 11.8.2025 this evening I was in the restaurant eating fried cake with cured meats and pizza.... everything good.... I recommend this place and I will be back

03/06/2025: Sabato scorso siamo andati a Parma a trovare dei nostri amici che ci hanno portato in questo localino intimo, ma stupendo. Abbiamo mangiato fuori e abbiamo preso 3 antipasti: una torta salata con i carciofi, uno sformato al parmigiano e un formaggio caprino e marmellata di fichi. Già qui si vola alto 🤩.
Poi noi, sotto consiglio della mia migliore amica, abbiamo preso gli gnocchi alla lavanda (super consigliati) e tagliolini al limone (anche questi molto buoni) . Poi abbiamo diviso due arrosti della settimana (maialino con una composta di prugne) ed infine i dolci (noi volevamo il gelato alle rose, ma ahimè l'avevan finito), abbiamo preso tutto il resto che c'era sul menù 🤣. Io ho preso il cioccorì (riso soffiato al cioccolato) e ammetto che era buono si, ma l'ho trovato particolarmente duro da masticare! Ad un certo punto mi faceva male la mandibola.
Rimane il fatto che ci torneremo ad assaggiare anche il gelato alla lavanda 🥰
27/04/2025: Ai piedi del castello di Tabiano, non proprio comodo da raggiungere, questo locale consigliatoci è stata una ottima scelta. Ambiente intimo e caloroso, ben curato e con ottimo servizio.
Abbiamo gustato dapprima degli affettati misti gustosissimi e li abbiamo fatti seguire da zuppa di legumi e coppa di maialino con potate al forno : piacere puro per il palato.
Al posto del dolce abbiamo preferito delle scaglie di parmigiano stagionato e abbiamo pasteggiato bevendo una ottima bottiglia di gutturnio.
Bravi ed onesti con il conto.

12/09/2025: Fantastic! We’ve come from Australia but most customers are Italian. Make sure you call in advance to see if they are open 😁
The owner takes his dog out to forage for truffles, super nice guy (in photo). He recommended the pumpkin ravioli with mushroom sauce and truffle shaved on top. Generous serving, delicious food, fast service, great outdoor seating and music. Highly recommend! We tried the summer truffles this week and am excited to return for winter’s black and white truffles. 5 stars!

The delivery, on a Saturday evening, was extremely punctual and on time.
With the discounted set menu (ranging from €12 to €15), we received five large portions, including rice, beef, ravioli, fried shrimp, and egg rolls.
The food was excellent, so good we couldn't finish it.
Recommended

29/07/2025: Das Vincanto liefert eine grundsolide Küche, die es aber mit anderen Restaurants (auch an Ort) leider nicht ganz aufnehmen kann.
Der eigentliche Schwachpunkt scheint mir hier der Umgang mit dem Gast zu sein.
Der Service ist leider nicht auf der Höhe: beim Hauptgericht wird nicht nach Beilagen gefragt, die gesondert bestellt werden müssen. Man bemerkt also seinen Fehler erst, wenn das Essen vor einem steht…
Auch sonst macht man was man muss, mehr aber auch nicht. Man fühlt sich nicht im üblichen Maße als Gast und umsorgt (ja, das kann auch manchmal zu viel werden, aber gar nicht ist entschieden zu wenig).
Es fehlt nicht viel: Sehen, dass ein Glas oder eine Flasche leer ist und reagieren, beim Aufnehmen der Bestellung mitdenken und fragen, mehr wäre es nicht - vermutlich ein Personal-/Führungsthema.
Die Küche ist gut und die Gerichte schmecken gut, gleich ob Nudeln, Fisch oder Fleisch.
Besonders hervorzuheben: es gibt hier glutenfreie Kost auf sehr guten Niveau.
24/07/2025: Pranzo giorno feriale fine luglio 25. Cose veloci e semplici (bruschetta e insalata). Servizio di ragazze di lingua non italiana cortesi ma sprovvedute. Fatto presente di bottiglia di olio di oliva con data di scadenza 22/06/25 e risposta che la bottiglia è riutilizzata per olio diverso. Mi pare frase credibile ma in un luogo pubblico che significato ha? Costo di 10 euro per la bruschetta più elementare e 14 euro per insalatona (almeno con prosciutto crudo …. Tagliato grosso!). Forza ragazze si può fare meglio!

28/12/2024: Posizione del ristorante dispersa nelle colline di Salsomaggiore parcheggio comodo cani ben accetti ci sediamo al tavolo e chiediamo due volte il menu ma inspiegabilmente aspettiamo mezz’ora e la sala non era piena ,menu semplice con i piatti tipici della zona a mio avviso troppo conditi e pieni d olio dolce molto buono prezzo ottimo
07/10/2024: Traditionelle Küche ohne Schnickschnack in einfachem Ambiente - also nix für Schickimickeys. Alles frisch und nettes Personal. Reservierung empfehlenswert.
