15/11/2025: I stopped to get some piadinas to go and was pleasantly surprised. The piadinas were excellent. I'm really happy with my discovery. I grabbed the piadinas and left. I didn't try the stuffed piadinas, but I will next time.

10/10/2025: A very refined and welcoming restaurant, furnished with a simple yet warm taste. The welcome was extremely courteous, making us immediately feel at home.
We chose a carafe of red wine, which turned out to be surprisingly good, well above the average for what's usually offered at this restaurant.
The first courses were a real surprise: the spaghetti alla chitarra with seafood and the potato and spinach gnocchi with a delicate cream, prosciutto, and chopped pistachios (off-menu, special of the day) were both excellent, with generous portions and precise cooking.
The most memorable note were the tigelle: light dough, perfect air bubbles, evenly cooked. Truly among the best we've tried, true to the tradition of Pavullo nel Frignano. The accompanying cured meats were also excellent, clearly of high quality.
The generous portions prevented us from continuing with other tastings, but this remains a more than compelling reason to return and explore the rest of the menu.
Conclusion: a restaurant where cuisine, hospitality, and atmosphere coexist in harmony. Compliments to the dining room and kitchen staff.
Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

17/09/2025: Excellent Ferrarese meat cuisine. Friendly staff and good service. I recommend the excellent tagliatelle with meat sauce and the guinea fowl. And don't forget the fried pumpkin, a real treat. But everything else is good, too. The honey grappa at the end of the meal is excellent. Andrea is great.

14/06/2025: Spaghetto allo scoglio abbondante e buono, purtroppo la grande delusione è arrivata con la frittura di calamari. Improponibile nel sapore , nelle porzioni , e di conseguenza nell'aspetto.Le mie aspettative, avendo una maggiorazione di prezzo , differentemente dal fritto misto , era quello di avere un piatto piu leggero e di qualità superiore. Mi ripeto delusissima.
I ragazzi che accolgono e servono ai tavoli, cortesia, educati, è gentili.

16/03/2025: Servizio inesistente, privo di informazione sui piatti poiché il personale straniero non sapeva dare spiegazioni.
Eravamo in 4 e i piatti sono arrivati in tempi diversi con attese molto lunghe e qualità del cibo molto discutibile . Prezzo elevato per ciò che viene fornito

17/04/2025: Wir waren heute Abend mit Freunden im Baracon zu Gast. Wir hatten Cozze/Vongole, diverse Pizzen, Frittura di Pesce und zum Nachtisch Tiramisu und Zuppa Inglese. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, die Portionen riesig und preislich mehr als angemessen. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam. Wer einen schönen Abend mit leckerem Essen erleben möchte ist hier genau richtig!
01/02/2025: Consigliato da b&b corte Pasubio , sono kartista piemontese con mia moglie,preso spaghetti alle vongole fritto misto. Farei 400 km solo per cenare lì .

La Locanda di Medelana

23/07/2025: È un posto dove si può mangiare bene, ci sono i piatti ferraresi, la pizza e il pesce, tutto buonissimo. Poi hanno la piscina dove si può rilassare soprattutto in state. A noi ci piace passare dei weekend in questo posto perché a parte di mangiare bene e essere rilassato in piscina, durante la sera fanno degli spettacoli con musica in vivo e poi hanno anche la camera per dormire. Quindi un posto perfetto per le famiglie e per chi vuole passare delle giornate di relax senza dover pensare a niente solo godersi il weekend. Per me è un posto fenomenale con delle persone spettacolari.
13/07/2025: Da provare assolutamente 👍. Locale accogliente, cibo buonissimo e servizio ottimo. Consiglio a Lorenzo di ripetere serate con musica dal vivo.
