02/03/2026: A pleasant atmosphere, courteous and prompt service, and a varied and appealing selection. In practice, however, Tomini disappointed me a bit, apart from the taste: in the radicchio, pancetta, and gorgonzola crescione, the radicchio flavor largely overpowered the other flavors, which were barely noticeable. Furthermore, the dough was a bit bland and too dry for my palate. As for the sweet crescioncini (I chose the Nutella and coconut one), I found the crust a bit too generous for the filling.

10/10/2025: A very refined and welcoming restaurant, furnished with a simple yet warm taste. The welcome was extremely courteous, making us immediately feel at home. We chose a carafe of red wine, which turned out to be surprisingly good, well above the average for what's usually offered at this restaurant. The first courses were a real surprise: the spaghetti alla chitarra with seafood and the potato and spinach gnocchi with a delicate cream, prosciutto, and chopped pistachios (off-menu, special of the day) were both excellent, with generous portions and precise cooking. The most memorable note were the tigelle: light dough, perfect air bubbles, evenly cooked. Truly among the best we've tried, true to the tradition of Pavullo nel Frignano. The accompanying cured meats were also excellent, clearly of high quality. The generous portions prevented us from continuing with other tastings, but this remains a more than compelling reason to return and explore the rest of the menu. Conclusion: a restaurant where cuisine, hospitality, and atmosphere coexist in harmony. Compliments to the dining room and kitchen staff. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

23/11/2025: Even though I've been with my dog ​​before, today my 3kg dog was not allowed. Furthermore, a young man, likely an agitated and perhaps work-stressed owner, amidst the chaos and noise that reigned supreme in the restaurant, told us in a loud and annoyed tone that we needed to be respectful of the other diners because the dog could bother them. When we declined the reservation, he yelled at us, telling us not to come back. He would have simply asked us to be private and politely tell us not to bring the dog again. Before asking for respect from a customer, perhaps we should give it. I repeat, we hadn't mentioned the dog, because she had always been there before. Perhaps we made a mistake, for which we apologize to the other customers. The management, however, was extremely rude! Anyway, we went to another restaurant, very quiet and welcoming, which even gave our Cicci a bowl of water. Culinary art should always be combined with the well-being of entertainment and not just be seen as the mere consumption of food, even ordinary food.

13/01/2026: (Reviewing the restaurant) The atmosphere is rustic, simple but well-kept and tidy. A fireplace at the entrance easily warms the entire space. The waiters are young, but friendly and attentive. You can clearly sense their love for their work and the commitment they put into it: they were efficient and helpful throughout the evening. The menu is simple but rich in meat-based dishes, which are the hallmark of this place. I liked the option of ordering a dish called Quatris, a trio of cappellacci (a type of pasta) plus baked pasta (which was actually lasagna; I thought it was baked macaroni). I'd never tried cappellacci with radicchio, but I have to say it wasn't bad for someone who doesn't like radicchio. For the main course, the rabbit was excellent, with vegetables just like my grandmother used to cook it, accompanied by baked potatoes. My boyfriend had tagliatelle with ragù and donkey with polenta, which he loves. The portions were just right, in my opinion, because I managed to eat everything without leaving anything behind; I was just the right amount of full. I was afraid they'd be inhumane, but I was wrong. Honorable mention for the pumpkin chips, which were AMAZING: I'd never seen them before, but I think even if they were available, they wouldn't be this good! I think providing more than one side is a plus. The robiola cake was excellent, as was the chocolate salami (which I appreciated because it was nice and dry with an aniseed aftertaste!). To finish, a nice licorice liqueur, very pleasant and low in alcohol. €87 for two with a bottle of wine, a real bargain.
