07/01/2026: Just had our third visit to this great restaurant, to be confirmed our opinion. Worth visiting, in Castelfranco Veneto adjacent to the historic center this place won us over with its refined cuisine, modern in the presentation of the dishes but which recalls tradition in the use of carefully chosen products. Some also ownly produced, with the recovery of ancient and little-known plants. An end of year dinner that we will remember. All the dishes would each require a detailed description, but the calamarata and the saddle of venison definitely delighted us. Finally a wine list worthy of being called a story. Congratulations, very good.

Risotto alla veneta: flavorful, delicious! We came back for seconds: much appreciated! Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

14/10/2025: Splendid location Trattoria located in an old mill, beautifully restored, with spacious indoor and outdoor spaces, a garden, and a pond where you can relax on wooden benches. Superlative food, decidedly above-average, and attentive service. From the appetizers to the Amaro del Frate liqueur, you feel cared for and well-attended. A unique experience, worth repeating.

01/03/2026: A lovely trattoria right next to the Piazza della Chessboard. It's very busy on weekends, so reservations are essential. The dishes are simple but well-prepared. The baked rabbit with polenta and the bigoli with farmyard ragù are delicious. Service is quick, but sometimes a bit chaotic and sloppy.

04/11/2025: On Friday, October 31st, during a visit to Verona, we stopped at this place for an aperitivo, as usual. We've been going there for years, and to be honest, it's never disappointed us. This time, however, we were quite surprised, especially when it came to the bill. We ordered two glasses of wine (a Soave and a Ripasso) and two "poci," small samples of food served in a small pan and accompanied by bread—bread, which, incidentally, is billed separately. The "poci" we chose were a Parmigiana and a Tomato and Stracciatella. The first turned out to be a simple stewed diced eggplant, far from a true parmigiana; the second consisted of a few spoonfuls of tomato sauce with a very small amount of stracciatella. I should point out that the price list clearly stated the prices, so there was no reason to object to formal correctness; However, the quantity and quality of what was served seemed completely disproportionate to the overall cost and the expectations we had built up over years of frequenting the restaurant.

02/02/2026: For a friend's birthday, this restaurant uses excellent ingredients. The chef's skillful preparation and service are second to none. The five-course fish and meat menus are recommended... sublime. Excellent wine list. We'll definitely return. The atmosphere is historic and welcoming.

20/01/2026: The restaurant is truly well organized, from reception to service. It features cloth tablecloths and attentive service (perhaps a bit too busy between courses). The baccalà alla Vicentina is certainly well-made, while I found the mantecato a bit heavy (better to share a portion for two). The wine offered, Vespaiolo, tells the story of the area, with grapes that are a delicacy for wasps... The boiled meat is definitely worth trying, even though this tradition is in our DNA in Emilia.

17/02/2026: I went for a family lunch at this trattoria, which is over 100 years old. It offers traditional Venetian dishes, both meat and seafood: I had risotto and fillet steak, both excellent. The waiters are elegantly dressed and very friendly and welcoming. The interior is very welcoming, and the prices are fair. Overall, a great place to eat.
