04/03/2025: The last days of the week, the group and I came across this refuge. You are immediately struck by the details, smiling and professional staff, quality raw materials cooked with passion. The outdoor area is particularly equipped and functional.
Excellent Experience, recommended!!!

27/02/2025: We tried three restaurants in La Thuile - this being the third. The food was good and plentiful whilst the prices were lower than average so we just stuck with this place once we had tried it!
Staff were friendly, service quick and portions good - definitely recommended.
Knowing how hard it is to make sense of reviews I have relisted this review with the addition that I don't think there was a second floor to this restaurant.
We didn't have any problems booking (did it each night when we left for the following night).
22/02/2025: We went for dinner. 4 adults, 5 children. Ordered pizza, pasta and fish. Finished with deserts. Food was delicious. Service fast. Staff friendly. We definitely recommend to try the place. It was recommended to us by friends and we recommend it further!

03/02/2025: We were recommended this place by our hotel and they were not wrong.
Good typical food and great service, all the people working there were really nice.
They also offer pizza, which we didn't try but looked tasty.
We had polenta with cheese and different kind of meat, and a good slice of pie.
Wine from the house was good as well
Reasonable prices
18/01/2025: Visited this restaurant for a special night out with family, on a ski trip. We had several different meals and everyone was very impressed with the service and food we had. Beautiful surroundings, pleasant and efficient staff and excellent food at a good price. If you are in La Thuille give this a visit.

Restaurant Hotel Les Granges

13/01/2025: Great location if you have a car and don’t want to be in the centre of La Thuile for skiing.
There’s a free car park in the town just up from mobile home park about a 400 metre walk to the main lift. Brilliant for warming up and warming down around the ski day.
Breakfast in the mornings is perfectly adequate and very traditional, amazing croissants and traditional cheese & meat options. Lovely coffee from Claudio’s machine.
The evening meal is served from in the restaurant 100 metres away. A simple walk and one you’re grateful for if you’ve managed to eat all that’s put before you. The food is traditional. Don’t expect burger & chips.
The hotel is very spacious and a refreshing alternative to the super modern uber cool places I’ve never aspired to staying in.
The rooms are cleaned and the beds made daily. And I’m sure we had fresh sheets and towels half way through the week.
We got a half board week for less than the booking dot com B&B price by booking directly with Claudio via their website

05/02/2025: Sono stata a cena in questo locale che è molto carino con personale gentile. Peccato per il cibo. Hamburger triste. Un piatto con 4 patatine fritte e due pezzi di pomodoro. Dentro il panino una fetta di bacon che nemmeno si vedeva, e qualità dell hamburger non eccezionale soprattutto per il prezzo del panino.
Peccato perché il posto è veramente carino.
Rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo.
19/01/2025: Great traditional atmosphere. Had a long lunch there and really enjoyed it. Very pleasant , friendly and welcoming staff. The menu is great with a very varied choice of dishes. There were 4 of us and we had main courses of traditional alpine fare with great choice of deserts to finish. Bill was very reasonable also. No booking at lunch but reckon should book for dinner. Must go to venue if visiting La Thuile.

09/01/2025: Food was fabulous would highly recommend the pork. Service was equally excellent and wine was great. Our evening was great we felt well looked after and had a great time. This was our 2nd year visiting the restaurant and returning for our last evening fingers crossed it’s just as good.

20/08/2023: Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante il primo giorno di vacanza a La Thuile.
Un piatto di gnocchi alle trote abbastanza buono ed un piatto di prosciutto con bufala da dimenticare.
Servizio scadente: è arrivato il bere senza che ci avessero ancora apparecchiato..
Mi dispiace fare una recensione negativa ma dato quanto abbiamo speso sinceramente mi aspettavo più qualità.
20/08/2023: Prodotti ottimi ottimo locale .. ok il posto turistico prezzi veramente alti acqua a 4 euro mi pare un po' eccessiva
