21/05/2025: I really can't understand the good reviews of this restaurant. Average tourist food, cheese board with three anonymous caciottas, pici all'agliata with very little seasoning and dry. The torta papalina is good but identical to others eaten elsewhere. The guy in the dining room is kind but you eat better elsewhere.

01/05/2025: Located in the heart of Pitigliano’s old town, Hostaria del Ceccottino offers elevated Tuscan cuisine in a stylish, softly lit space. We came here for a romantic dinner and were not disappointed. The highlights were the beef tagliata with rosemary potatoes and the handmade tortelli stuffed with ricotta and spinach. The wine recommendation – a local Syrah – was spot on. Service was polished and professional, and the setting made it feel like a special evening. It’s a bit pricier (€50–€60 per person), but absolutely worth it for the quality and atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or celebration.

30/05/2025: Very welcoming The owner (I think he is the owner) is very very nice and knows his stuff. Lots of laughs. Excellent food The toilet leaves a bit to be desired as in many other places we have visited in recent days. Too bad. This doesn't happen here (in Switzerland). Anyway we had a great time here.😊😆
