15/12/2024: Se non andiamo da Accursio almeno ogni anno ci manca qualcosa. Per fortuna da anni non è successo. È sempre un'esperienza sorprendente e intimamente coinvolgente. Infatti tra di noi durante il pasto non commentiamo con parole ma solo con sguardi eloquenti. La raffinata semplicità del locale e la ricercata semplicità del menù si sposano bene con la genuina cortesia delle persone (non del personale) che si prendono cura di noi. Speriamo di ritornare presto.

02/03/2025: If you go up a narrow alley from Modica Vasa, you will find a cute traditional Sicilian restaurant. On a Saturday night, it was packed with customers and the reservation list seemed long, so I was a little nervous, but there was a separate table to sit at! The Billito was really soft and delicious with just the right amount of seasoning, and the Polpette al sugo had a great flavor with the meatballs being full of cheese flavor! Caponata has a strong scent, but has a good umami flavor, making it perfect to eat with bread.
The total cost of 1L of wine and aqua was 39 euros. It was cheap and delicious, so I felt why it was so popular.

07/02/2025: I came to this restaurant because I saw Mr. Roberto in the episode of 4 restaurants and I decided to try his cuisine. I come to Sicily every year and I stopped by Modica, a very nice and welcoming place, we ate very well and enjoyed typical local dishes, the very kind and helpful waiter entertained us for the whole evening. The only thing I was sad to see was Mr. Roberto saddened by not having won 4 restaurants. 🤨 Otherwise ok 👌
29/12/2024: Christmas lunch with fixed seafood menu.
Given that, once we arrived at the restaurant we noticed our table and realized that we were really cramped and we couldn't even move freely.
Passable appetizers with sufficiency (despite the inedible prawn cocktail and the couscous which was without fish)
The first courses were inedible (one of the two dishes was completely raw and the sauce was acidic)
Among the fish main courses, the stuffed squid was absolutely not up my alley, rubbery and had a bad smell
The only positive note was the dessert, good and plentiful.

04/01/2025: Locale freddo, minimal. Sicuramente non merita la stella Michelin. Poco pesce sulla carta. Ci hanno proposto vini scarsi, prevalentemente biologici e in ogni caso andati a male (bottiglie aperte da tempo). Baccalà con crostone buono, idem gli spaghetti al tartufo. La zuppa di cozze e fagioli bocciata. Ban-ettone alla crema al caramello e’ diventato alla crema pasticciera (al palato crema all’UOVO!). 107€ per quattro CAGATELLE.
28/12/2024: Modica bellissima cittadina, offre numerosi svaghi. Questo ristorante si trova al piano alto.
In inverno i posti esterni sono ovviamente chiusi ma ritengo che durante l’estate sia molto carino.
Metterei all’interno qualche stufetta perché l’ambiente è un po’ freddino.
L’accoglienza al nostro arrivo è stata molto piacevole e siamo stati subito serviti.
Per iniziare non potevamo non assaggiare i loro cocktail che si distinguono dalle solite proposte. Potenti.
Infine abbiamo optato per due primi di pasta molto buoni: mezze maniche con cime di rapa guanciale e pecorino e degli spaghetti fuori menù con gamberetti ed altri ingredienti.
A seguire la scelta è stata: una portata di bollito, cotto bene e di buona qualità ma, nell’insieme, il piatto risultava un po’ stopposo.
Il famoso polletto al mattone è stato all’altezza delle aspettative.
Carta dei vini ottima.
Qualità prezzo idem.
