14/04/2026: This was my best meal in Sicily. Nestled by the seaside, the restaurant offers a unique experience that invites you to unwind, relax, and truly take in all that panoramic Sicily has to offer.
I enjoyed several courses and was especially impressed by the chef’s kindness and his willingness to explain each dish as if it were a work of art (which they are). I even asked how it was possible that the fresh pasta is perfectly al dente, but he smiled and kept his secrets.
This place is something special, only this chef could create food like this. As you take in the scent of the sea, feel the breeze on your skin, and watch seabirds soaring overhead, you realize this is more than just a meal. It’s an experience that changes your perspective on what it means to eat Sicilian food.
As someone that has lived in Italy for many years, this meal remains memorable and it’s why I am writing this review almost 5 months later, it is a meal that lives rent free in my mind. I can’t wait to return to Sicily and eat here again!
12/04/2026: Warning: More appearance than substance
Based on hearsay, we decided to try this restaurant anyway, stopping by for Sunday lunch, despite some discouraging rumors.
Unfortunately, the experience confirmed what we'd already been told.
The quality of the food was far below expectations, with dishes lacking identity and attention to detail.
The service leaves much to be desired: inattentive, disorganized, and far from what one would expect from a restaurant that aspires to a certain level.
Notable absences, such as a proper wine list and table linens, contribute to the unprofessional image of the entire establishment.
It's also unfortunate to note certain unfair dynamics: one gets the feeling that the restaurant tried to influence reviews by involving people close to it.
If that were the case, it would be a lack of transparency and far from the values of healthy, meritocratic dining.
A real shame, because some things just aren't done.
