Castelrotto
04/02/2026: An elegant restaurant, without excess, with well-conceived cuisine. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, enriched by historic photographs of the village and antique hay and skiing equipment, authentically depicting the region. The cuisine blends local roots with contemporary interpretations, balanced and never forced. Among the dishes, the Alpine beef tartare with cauliflower panna cotta, mountain whey, and fir oil is emblematic, while the Match Point dessert—coconut mousse, pineapple, lime, and pistachio sablé—is a small masterpiece of balance and freshness. The work of Daniele Gaudiello and his team is evident in every course and in the care taken throughout the entire experience. The service is attentive and professional. An experience that leaves a special memory and makes you want to return.
01/02/2026: We celebrated my friend's birthday in this magical place: the atmosphere was warm and welcoming in the wooden stube, with an elegant yet not cold touch. The dishes were delicious, a perfect blend of Ladin tradition and creative touches—all cooked with the freshest ingredients and presented with care. The staff was super kind: they made us feel special with a small birthday gift (candles and heartfelt wishes), and attentive, smiling service from start to finish. An unforgettable evening, thank you so much! We'll definitely be back for other special occasions. 🎂🥂

Merano
12/01/2026: We chose a fish soup and a gratinated scallops appetizer because other dishes had a 30-minute wait. Instead, our order arrived after at least 45 minutes, with a hair wrapped around the fish soup. This is something that really disgusts me, so I didn't have the heart to fish it out and show it to the waiter (who could have done it himself if he wanted), nor did I want to argue with another waitress who promptly came over to tell me there was nothing in the kitchen and that she could go check it herself. As if a customer, after a 45-minute wait, would have fun leaving half of their meal on their plate by inventing a hair. We were charged in full for the dish, or €30 for a fish soup that, given its flavor and content, even without the hair, wasn't worth it. The tiramisu was very good, but for me it was a negative experience, more because of the waiters' attitude than the accident itself, which can happen. They could have just apologized and offered a discount.
06/01/2026: A somewhat secluded spot, but with ample parking. Don't let the exterior fool you, as the food is delicious and generous. After the fresh fish specialties, you absolutely must try the tiramisu – it's divine. A place I always enjoy going to and taking people to – definitely worth keeping in mind. See you again soon!
