The atmosphere is warm and meticulously crafted, with a refined Alpine style that instantly makes you feel at ease. The cuisine is simply extraordinary: each dish is a perfect balance of local flavors and innovation. The ingredients are of the highest quality, and the care taken in preparation and presentation is evident. From the first course to dessert, every bite is a surprising and captivating experience. The service lives up to the setting: professional, attentive, and never intrusive. The staff offers expert advice, helping to make dinner even more enjoyable. It's now a regular stop when we come to the valley.
17/04/2026: We really enjoyed our last dinner here. We had the black Angus beef entrecote (perfectly cooked and had a lovely spiced pumpkin hummus and chorizo sauce which complemented the meat well) and the spaghetti alla chitarra (SO good). I'm not a huge dessert fan but my friends got some and they were too beautiful to eat but were tasty too. The service was great too.

18/03/2026: I've been coming to Merano for work for eight years once a month, and Trattoria Da Dante is a must. I'm Venetian, I know a thing or two about fish, and I love eating it, and the food here is truly excellent. The only drawback is that it's often difficult to get a table because it's always crowded. It's best to book. The location? Very basic, but that's not his fault. However, if you prefer the location, don't come; if you prefer good food, come quickly.
21/02/2026: We visit this restaurant often and can honestly say it's one of our favorites, a definite recommendation. The service is very kind, attentive, and friendly. The decor is a bit rustic, even a little old-fashioned, but that's precisely what makes it special. The food is always very good: I especially recommend the mussels and the fillet steak! For dessert, the tiramisu is always a real treat. Reservations are highly recommended, as the restaurant is always very busy!
