27/05/2025: If you want to taste the REAL Roman cuisine, in a classic atmosphere of the typical trattorias of the capital.. this is the place for you!!! Totally family-run, the owners and the environment fully reflect the welcoming, rowdy spirit, with that pinch of irreverent goliardic that distinguishes the Roman people.. and you will immediately feel "at home"!!! The place is essential, a little messy but still clean and welcoming! The dishes can be seen and felt that they are prepared at the moment.. and for this reason you have to wait at the table perhaps a little longer than usual, but the wait will be rewarded by the exquisite goodness of a HEALTHY and TRUE dish, as if it were really prepared by Sora Bea with her own hands!! The possibility of choosing the portions of the first courses (small, medium or large) which are in any case quite abundant is very welcome: my "medium" portion of Cacio e pepe easily reached 200gr.. and it was FANTASTIC.!!! The amatriciana rolls are also delicious, with a sauce that is a must-have for mopping up the sauce!!! In short... a very pleasant and tasty Roman discovery in the heart of Trieste!! 😍😋👍🏼 PS: I forgot to take a picture of the menu... which shows prices that are a little higher than those shown here on Google, since the photos are from SEVEN years ago... but they are still very low!!! 👍🏼

19/05/2025: All good and respectful of Roman cuisine, nothing to say about it. Just a note that unfortunately applies to most of the category now, the prices are unjustifiable. I'm not referring to the dishes, I can understand that the raw materials have a cost that goes hand in hand with the general context but on the prices of drinks and covers. A still water 3 euros, I'll leave you to consider the percentage of the markup, a glass of wine 5.50 euros ... the same speech, lastly the cover of 3 euros per person without even seeing the shadow of a crumb of bread, don't tell me I should ask you Romans, the best part of the amatriciana is the scarpetta ... I will definitely return, but get a grip!!!
