03/05/2025: We came to Trattoria Hesperia based on a recommendation, expecting a nice dinner and authentic atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were greeted by the rudest waiter we’ve encountered this year. Without asking if we preferred an English or Italian menu, he simply threw the menu on the table and rudely told us not to ask for pizza or lasagna — only what's in the menu. We understand that dealing with tourists may be frustrating, but treating every guest with such disdain is unacceptable. We felt unwelcome and left without ordering. A very disappointing experience that ruined what was supposed to be a lovely evening.
