13/11/2025: Too few stars! I would like to give more... The only small complaint is that the _correct_ phone number was only found on the St. Martin's Day menu taped to the window (the friendly waiter found it right away behind the counter), so the website updates are lagging a bit behind. Go and try it - with time!

12/11/2025: It's a beautiful place, and you expect something special from it, but... the food is very mediocre: the beef, I asked for medium, was raw and rare, EVEN after cooking it a second time! The stewed duck was okay, but nothing special, and I didn't like the frika at all. And the vegetables baked in cheese were a nightmare: sour, bitter greens, carrots, and a bunch of cauliflower. Horrible!!! The presentation is okay, but the taste... in general, for charmed tourists and people who don't appreciate food. Never again!!! Bottom line: minus 82€ and a ruined mood.

28/10/2025: During a short holiday in Cividale in June, I ate here almost every day, mostly for lunch but also dinner: the place, with its tables under old trees, is enchanting and irresistibly inviting, with very good food and exceptionally friendly staff (which is by no means a given when you come alone, especially with a dog). The lady in charge (the owner?) in particular made my visits even more enjoyable with her hospitality.

09/11/2025: When we entered, we sat down and waited 45 minutes before they came to take our orders. Then, when they brought our food, they forgot to bring us plates so we could split one dish between three. The service was pretty poor, but the food was good.

09/11/2025: Great experience! The place is truly charming, with attention to detail both inside and out. We ordered cured meats, a pumpkin pie, sausage, and frico: everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The place doesn't have private parking, but it's easy to find a spot nearby, just a few steps away. Recommended!

30/09/2025: In the heart of Cividale, right in the center, we found this place that won us over. The Frico and cured meats were truly inviting: fresh, tastefully presented, and with an authentic flavor reminiscent of local traditions. Each bite was a pleasant discovery, made even better by the welcoming atmosphere. And last but not least: the prices are fair, making the experience truly complete and satisfying. We recommend this stop to anyone who wants to experience Cividale with all their senses.
