10/05/2025: I was there last night for dinner... the place is not very large but well looked after with the tables on the water's edge and is very interesting. The food is good and well served although they tend to bring all the dishes together and therefore create confusion on the table. The bill is normal for a restaurant of the same type. The service can be improved as can be seen from my evaluation. The staff appears cold and not very friendly towards the customer, sometimes even with a somewhat abrupt manner (I may have found the evening unlucky of course, but kindness towards the customer is always important). I noticed this not only with myself but also with other customers.

14/05/2025: Beyond all expectations, in my opinion the best Asian restaurant in Vicenza. The place wouldn't say so from the outside, but once inside you find a really nice, welcoming and intimate environment. The staff is really kind, they found us a table at the last minute and made us sit. We wanted to try different Chinese/Japanese dishes. The menu offers a wide choice of meat/fish/vegetarian dishes, it makes you want to try everything! I highly recommend the Chinese dumplings with shrimp (spectacular) and the duck with mushrooms and bamboo melted in your mouth. The takoyaky are the best I've ever eaten; the ravioli are also worth it, you can see that they are handmade and the quality is very high. The highlight: mixed tuna nigiri, indescribable! As well as the uramaki which are a work of art. Really fresh and quality raw fish, sensational sushi. Super value for money. I'll be back soon!

17/05/2025: Good appetizers but the main courses left much to be desired. Hard cut and dry Vicenza-style cod despite the lots of oil. Too bad.

13/05/2025: I had dinner yesterday 13/05, I have to say that I ate very well, in a really beautiful environment and with a staff that followed us with a lot of empathy and education welcoming us with a smile and guiding us in the dishes! The prices are honest! And the various space dishes!

29/04/2025: The best Chinese restaurant in Vicenza, without a doubt. I have been going there for many years, and although I have tried the same dishes around Italy (I highly recommend the spicy potatoes and aubergines), they are not at the same level. Coming home for me means returning to eat at Cicchetteria Zhu.

18/04/2025: Unfortunately I never had the chance to try the food, but I feel I have to leave a review anyway. I tried twice, and on both occasions I was politely rejected: a year ago I was told that without a reservation it was not possible to enter, even though the place was practically empty. Today I wanted to give a second chance, but the situation repeated itself: free tables, no explanation, just a polite "no". I've honestly never met a restaurant where it's so difficult to make a reservation for just one person. I understand that every place has its own rules, but the attitude seemed anything but welcoming. At this point I prefer to travel a few more kilometers and go where, in addition to food, there is also a minimum of courtesy. Unfortunately, here it seems that we have forgotten what it means to welcome. There won't be a third time.

The sushi is always good, well prepared and with attention to detail, with a truly pleasant balance of flavours. Each dish is carefully presented. The service is always impeccable: kindness, speed and a welcoming atmosphere that makes every dinner a pleasant and relaxed moment. It has now become our point of reference when we want excellent sushi. Highly recommended for those looking for quality and courtesy!
