30/04/2025: I went yesterday with friends, the restaurant was completely empty. Let's start because there are no tablets but we had to call the waitress, every time she came she said "do you want to order again" but sorry isn't it an all you can eat? Limited portions and very heavy food, which remained on the stomach until the next day. Horrible sashimi and very unpleasant lady. For me it's safe to say I'll never go there again. Finally we ask for a free grappa because we ate very little, and he asks us 2 euros for a small glass. With these prices I'm going to an all u can eat place where you can eat
30/04/2025: Sono stato ieri con amici, ristorante completamente vuoto. Partiamo che non ci sono tablet ma dovevamo chiamare la cameriera, ogni volta che veniva pronunciava “volete ordinare ancora “ ma scusa non è un all you can eat? Porzioni limitate e cibo molto pesante, rimasto sullo stomaco fino al giorno dopo. Sashimi orrendo e la signora molto antipatica. Per me puo chiudere che non ci andró mai piu. Infine chiediamo una grappa in omaggio perché abbiamo mangiato davvero pochissimo, e ci chiede 2 euro per un piccolo bicchiere. Con questi prezzi me ne vado ad un all u can eat dove “si mangia”

08/12/2024: We had three meals here in three days. The Chinese food is very authentic and spicy, specifically the 水煮鱼片(fish in hot chilli oil soup)，干锅鱿鱼(dry pot squid)，干锅野菜花 (dry pot cauliflower)，尖椒牛肉(stir fried sliced beef with chilli peppers) and 水煮牛肉 (sliced beef in hot Chili oil). The 叉烧排骨bbq pork ribs are also very good, the meat is very soft and tender, flavourful with a tad sweetness.
I don’t recommend the 酸辣土豆丝 shredded potato and 干煸四季豆 green beans. I’m quite disappointed. They don’t taste authentic.
For a family of three, we paid around €50 one meal is €53.5, 1 meal is €48 each meal. The price is fairly affordable compared to the Chinese restaurants in the UK. There is a table charge €1.5 per head, kinda like service charge. The service is also up to standard.
The atmosphere is great it feels that we’re in a Chinese restaurant in China.

Basically, each dish is large, suitable for a group of 8-10 people to eat together, but I don’t know why I didn’t see the dishes listed in the online reviews. The basic dishes are very simple, such as potato stew, stir-fried Chinese cabbage or scrambled eggs, all the way to roast duck, or dishes like dory fish, to tofu. The only dish that I think is the most beautiful is the stir-fried vegetables with shrimps. The rest I think are okay and not very good.
Environment: It looks like this used to be a large banquet restaurant. When I came in, it looked like some of the decorations were being packed up and renovated. It was a bit empty. The banquet restaurant should have the largest distance between tables in Italy. It was very empty.
Service: To be honest, the service here is fast and the food is given quickly.

20/04/2025: Excellent food and friendly staff. The prices are very honest: A plate of noodles €4.50. I am a regular customer now and they have never disappointed me. I've never tried the all you can eat formula (being a vegetarian it wouldn't make sense) but sometimes I've had the avocado maki or the vegan Temaki and they're both delicious. 4 full stars!

18/04/2025: I have ordered from them several times on Just Eat for a few years, very good food but they have always had some problems with delivery. Today I ordered at 7.30pm, expected delivery at 8.15pm, then changed to 9.05pm, at 9.15pm it still hasn't arrived. I call the restaurant and they tell me that the rider had problems with his scooter but is now on his way. After 40 minutes I try to call again and they just let it ring without answering me. They eventually cancel the order after I contacted Just Eat support. This is truly unacceptable behavior and I'm sorry because their poké is delicious and has fair prices

13/10/2024: Venerdì sera, locale semivuoto e già qui ci è sembrato strano.
Unico locale che propone di sera una formula ayce a 25 euro, quindi il più economico in assoluto, ma la qualità del cibo è davvero scarsa. I secondi piatti in particolare sembravano pietanze cucinate dall'ospedale e avevano un retrogusto davvero stranissimo, quasi come di detersivo. Le porzioni abbastanza misere e il sushi lasciava un po' a desiderare.
Solo 2 note positive : fatta eccezione per la signora più anziana col caschetto davvero molto poco garbata, il personale è molto gentile e c'è la possibilità di includere le poké nel menù, cosa che raramente trovo in giro (le poké forse sono l'unica cosa che si salva!).
Sconsigliato.
31/08/2024: if you are looking for the worst sushi to eat this is the first in the ranking.. the sushi was dry and smelled like sweaty armpits after a football match and then having ordered 18 pieces of sushi for 2 people the bill paid was €51.. terrible experience that I recommend only for those who want to get diarrhea

Dopo un'ora di fila sotto al sole ad aspettare un tavolo (e dopo aver consultato il loro sito web, dove affermano di avere una vasta scelta di opzioni vegane e vegetariane, senza però specificare nulla di più), ci sediamo e scopriamo con orrore che il menù pranzo comprendeva pochissima scelta e NULLA di vegano/vegetariano (come confermato anche da uno dei ragazzi in sala, che afferma ci siano opzioni vegane/vegetariane esclusivamente per il menù cena!).
Ci è stato richiesto se volessimo optare quindi per il menù cena (con un aumento, dunque del prezzo base da 22 a 35 euro), cosa che avremmo anche accettato se non fosse stato per la scorrettezza da parte della gestione di non specificare correttamente le informazioni necessarie per un cliente e avere la buona creanza di ammettere almeno l'errore e scusarsi.
Mi dispiace, ma per noi decisamente bocciati!
19/04/2025: Sono andata a questo ristorante a pranzo con mio padre, lui é di Firenze e lo volevo portare in un ristorante giapponese che non avevo mai provato.
Siamo andati di sabato e non si poteva prenotare ma siamo andati in orario di apertura (all’una) e quindi non ci sono stati problemi.
Il cibo arriva velocemente e la selezione dei prodotti é molto varia. Alcuni piatti avevano delle combinazioni di sapori impeccabili (soprattutto i loro “special” che puoi ordinare limitatamente) e i roll con il riso Venere.
La qualità era ottima e devo dire che anche il posto era ben curato e gradevole. Il personale era gentile e disponibile e il costo é adatto.
Ci ritornerò sicuramente!

The sushi is delicious, the ramen too
Prices are much lower compared to places like McDonald's (where if you want to have lunch, you have to pay a lot for tiny, artificial foods, which won't fill you up)
I'm here to say that Gioia 2 is exactly the opposite
The prices are very low and if you want to have a dinner in San Nicola, this restaurant is the best choice
The menu is very flexible, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic, especially at night, because it is a dark environment with attractive lights
The fact that it is right next to Burger King (one of the worst in the world exactly) says a lot, the customers of that burger king should come to Gioia 2
In all, I will return when I can, I will never leave this place again

26/02/2025: Pessima Gestione.
Il ristorante si trova nel cuore del corso principale di Ischia ed è esteticamente gradevole, con diverse sale, tra cui una esterna. L'ambiente è frequentato principalmente da ragazzini. Il sushi, come spesso accade nei locali con formula "all you can eat", è nella media: nulla di eccezionale, ma almeno sufficiente per ciò che siamo riusciti a mangiare.
Purtroppo, la nostra esperienza è stata estremamente negativa per due motivi.
1. Il servizio inefficiente e discutibile
Come segnalato anche da altri clienti, le prime due o tre portate arrivano rapidamente, ma per le successive il personale finge di averle già servite o sostiene che il prodotto sia terminato. Più che una cattiva gestione delle comande, sembra “una strategia” per limitare il consumo.
2. Il comportamento inaccettabile di alcuni clienti e la mancata gestione del personale.
L'aspetto più grave è stata l'incapacità del personale nel gestire tre ragazzi, poco più che ventenni, il cui atteggiamento cafone ha spinto prima due tavoli con famiglie a chiedere il conto in anticipo e poi anche noi. La goccia che ha fatto traboccare il vaso è stata la scena di uno di loro che, con totale arroganza, ha messo i piedi sul tavolo e mortificato il personale di sala. Davanti a questa scena, sono intervenuto richiamando sia il maleducato che lo staff, che però si è mostrato completamente inerme ed incapace. Di fronte a tanta indifferenza, abbiamo preferito alzarci e andarcene senza nemmeno terminare il pranzo.
Alla richiesta di parlare con il direttore o con un responsabile, nessuno si è presentato. Il personale – composto esclusivamente da stranieri che non comprendevano nemmeno l’italiano – non ha saputo gestire la situazione e ha pensato di risolvere il tutto con uno sconto di 3 euro.
Se questa è la gestione, per noi è un posto assolutamente da evitare.
