25/04/2026: As someone who studied at a university in Nanjing, the first bite of the xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) was amazing. The skin was thin yet chewy, and the filling was sweet and meaty—exactly the taste I remembered, instantly transporting me back to the breakfast stalls outside the Gulou campus. The braised lion's head meatballs were coated in glutinous rice, stewed until incredibly soft and melt-in-your-mouth. The best part was the crispness of the water chestnuts in the filling, creating a wonderful layering with the savory meat. The broth was clear yet incredibly flavorful, a testament to the chef's skill. The pickled cabbage in the sauerkraut fish was of excellent quality, with a crisp texture. The fish slices were tender, and the finishing touch was the spoonful of freshly fried chili oil drizzled on top, its aroma elevating the entire dish to its soul. The Yuhua stone glutinous rice balls were absolutely gorgeous! Biting into them revealed that the filling seemed to have incorporated butter, resulting in a rich, creamy flavor and a smooth texture—a perfect dessert to finish off the day.

18/01/2026: No longer a Japanese restaurant, now is a nice and cozy Chinese restaurant offering Nanjing and Shanghai specialties, together with the usual classics of the Italian’s Chinese tradition. Not a huge menu, that to me is sign of quality. Great service.

07/06/2026: We were there last night, there were 5 adults, two children, and 1 baby. They sat us down and the waiter said he'd include 5 dinners for adults, half a dinner for one child, and only a cover charge for the other, because he'd already said from the beginning that he wouldn't eat anything. And that's what happened because he was just playing all evening. And instead... What did they do? 5 dinners for adults, half a dinner for one child, €10 for the other child (with the word "half a meal" written on it)... And listen, listen... They even charged me a cover charge for my 4-month-old baby... I'll just tell you one thing.... The best Chinese, Japanese restaurant..... Only one left (Doya Sushi, in Barletta)!!!! 28/05/2026: Excellent quality and price. All-you-can-eat lunch with a smaller menu and fewer choices, while in the evenings it's more plentiful. Good food, especially the Chinese fried cuisine. The atmosphere is beautiful. Easily accessible from the square. Ample parking outside. Table service or takeout. I've been back, and it's always a guarantee. I really enjoyed the onion maki. We went for lunch, and as always, it never disappoints. The rice dumplings with vegetables and egg are very good. The ravioli are a must.

15/05/2026: My husband and I went to eat last night. By 8:00 PM, there was no one there. Okay, so we sat down. It arrived and started ordering. One salmon was cut way too thick, and it was still lukewarm. The Cantonese rice tasted like pig mash. Any advice? Close it, maybe it's better.

02/05/2026: The restaurant has a beautiful interior and is clearly very proud of being mentioned in the Michelin Guide, but unfortunately the food was nowhere near that level. The quality was extremely disappointing. The dumplings tasted and felt like they had been frozen, with a hard, unpleasant texture. The meat and shrimp were tough, and the squid in the rice was hard and flavourless. Most dishes were excessively oily, with very little depth of flavour, almost as if everything was simply seasoned with salt rather than properly cooked or balanced. I have travelled extensively throughout Asia, including China, and this was honestly one of the worst Chinese food experiences I have had. You can find better-quality food at simple, inexpensive Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. Other Chinese restaurants mentioned in the Michelin Guide for Chinese cuisine are in a completely different league, with real flavour, technique, and quality. This was not worth the Michelin mention at all, and frankly, it made me question Michelin’s choice in this case. It felt much more like paying for the décor and the recognition than for the food itself. Very disappointing. Cannot recommend.

26/12/2025: At this eatery you are served well and with tasty food. Choices include very passable Italian and Chinese, at a very low price point. Would definitely recommend for a hearty lunch.

23/02/2026: Very rude and they increase the prices at the checkout, they made me pay for 2 extra bottles of water without having purchased them, insisting that I had to pay for them anyway. I do not recommend it at all.

16/02/2026: It has now become my favorite sushi place. Very precise in gluten-free and dairy-free dishes. Highly recommended.

11/01/2026: Terrible experience. Starting with the service: it took them 40 minutes to take our order and an hour to bring our dishes. As for the food, it was worse than an all-you-can-eat (at least there you don't pay 90 euros for two! 😉!).

31/05/2026: Terrible service and food. I don't recommend it. If you have to spend, go elsewhere. I've been more than 4 times, hoping that things have changed, but it's always from bad to bad. I'd rather go to Garbagnate or elsewhere to spend the same amount, with excellent service and good quality food.

16/05/2026: Very pleasant and elegant atmosphere. Above-average food quality, fast service (but a bit slow when the place is busy), and very friendly staff. Takeout service available. Prices are higher than average.

01/07/2026: I went to get takeout. Half an hour after ordering, and seeing all the other orders (including Glovo and Just Eat) pass me by, I asked how long the wait was. They said two minutes. After another 20 minutes and asking to speak to the owner (who was hiding in the kitchen), everything arrived. Without saying "sorry, we had a problem" (it can happen to anyone) or "I'll buy you a bottle of beer for the inconvenience." Nothing, they didn't give a damn. Since I used to go every week, they've now lost a customer, and given the recent reviews, it doesn't seem like a good thing.

29/04/2026: I ordered through Just Eat. Some things were good, including the rolls, ravioli, and spaghetti with vegetables and shrimp. The only downside was the veal with vegetables. Unfortunately, at first bite, it tasted "sour." Obviously, I didn't eat it to avoid getting sick, but I'm sorry I wasted food and money.
