I hadn't been for a couple of years, because it was frankly out of date. This is the second time this month, both sit-down and takeout. The sushi/sashimi/chirashi, etc., are really good, with the rice staying firm. The "Chinese" part is always a guarantee. Well done.

19/04/2026: Historic Japanese restaurant in Vibo Valentia. The food is quite good, despite its mixed reviews in the past. The nearby Rakki Sushi is nicer, while the all-you-can-eat dinner price is more competitive at Bai Wei, although the differences are minor. Recommended.

The food is obviously Chinese and includes typical specialties. I enjoyed it, even though I'm not a fan of the genre.
For what I ate, I found the bill a bit steep.

09/07/2026: An authentic old-school Chinese restaurant, just like they were before sushi became so popular. The location is a bit dated, but the food is truly delicious, the staff is extremely friendly, and the prices are truly reasonable. I've been there several times, will return again, and highly recommend it.

08/08/2026: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We waited a long time before being served, and after all that, we expected at least some well-made pizzas. Instead, they arrived raw, especially in the dough, and with an excessive amount of mozzarella, making them heavy and unpleasant to eat.
I understand that a crowded evening can slow down service, but waiting so long only to receive poorly cooked pizzas is hard to justify. Both time management and the quality of preparation definitely need improvement.

The restaurant wasn't air-conditioned, so we were forced to dine outside in 40-degree heat.
Embarrassing wait times for four pizzas, an hour and a half of us repeatedly asking the staff without anyone paying attention.
Horrible pizzas, raw, dripping with oil, one of them returned, and we went completely hungry.
We explained all the problems we'd had to both the cashier and the owner, and in the end, they didn't even do us a "nice" thing on the bill! We paid full price for everything without eating!
NEVER AGAIN.

23/02/2026: The food is really good; I had chaofan rice and stewed ribs. Generous portions and intense flavors. The place is very basic, but that's fine because what matters is the food, which is excellently priced. Be patient with the waiters, as they're also chefs, and some don't speak Italian perfectly, but that won't be a problem, so don't worry.
20/02/2026: It's right in front of the green metro exit and it's a wonderful place!! The prices are really great for the generous portions, plus the food is delicious and the service is very fast. I had these ramen with chicken, egg, and vegetables and they were truly a treat: they arrived piping hot and were truly delicious!
I'll definitely be back!!
