30/11/2025: I dont know how these reviews could be written...Shun Chang is the ONLY Chinese I order from this area... its fresh.. big portions and does not bloat my stomach like others near by. I have yet to go eat thete but everytime I order it for delivery.. they are precise, clean and prepare the meals and whole package very presentable. Thank you 🙏🏼 #1

14/02/2026: Always a pleasure to come to Leaf. The sushi is expertly crafted, and the hot dishes are prepared by Chef Zangh and are not pre-cooked, as at many all-you-can-eat restaurants. The service is friendly and warm. Lunch starts at €15, while dinner offers a very extensive menu for just €23.90. Excellent Chinese and sushi restaurant.

20/03/2026: A wonderful Father's Day evening with a menu that was excellent, from the spring rolls to the dessert, everything was delicious, warm and crispy. Kudos to the owner's polite manners and the perfect service. The atmosphere is small but cozy and charming.
Fair prices.

We arrived 45 minutes before closing time and were served with great kindness: THANK YOU 🙏🏻 For an all-you-can-eat buffet, the food is excellent. Of what we were able to try: The sushi is decent, the noodles are tasty, and they have some original maki and uraki combinations. Unfortunately, the rice was too oily and the chicken a bit dry.
02/01/2026: I won't be going back. I paid 90 euros for three people, including a 7-year-old who paid as an adult. When I asked if he was paying full price, the answer was yes, because he looks taller than 1.20 meters. My son isn't taller than that. I should have shown him the pediatrician's last appointment (in December) to confirm, but I didn't, but I won't be going back. I don't recommend it! Terrible!

02/04/2026: The place was empty (we later figured out why), the food wasn't bad overall, the service was a bit surly, the staff were boastful and couldn't wait for us to get up to close. Our 4-year-old son, who had already eaten dinner, ate a plate of Chinese dumplings and was charged for the children's menu (for one dish?!).
Terrible,
Never happened to any other restaurants in Perugia, which, coincidentally, are always full!
We won't be back.

Unfortunately, this sushi restaurant was a huge disappointment. The quality of the food was very poor: the fish didn't seem fresh, the rice was cheap and poorly prepared, and the flavors were completely unbalanced.
The presentation also left much to be desired, and the value for money was completely unjustified. The service was subpar: little customer service and no attention to detail.
Without a doubt, the worst sushi restaurant I've ever tried in Italy. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I definitely won't be returning.
31/10/2025: If you're in the mood for sushi, this is definitely a must. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh, just as it should. The wait times were definitely within the normal range (the place was half full and we were taking it to go), and we were served with a smile. I would definitely come back.

01/02/2026: Sushi Niwa is cheap, yes. But eating there is a real challenge. Asking for water and sauces became an impossible task: four requests, three different people, and only on the fourth time—probably out of exhaustion—did something arrive at the table.
The service is incredibly slow, disorganized, with staff seemingly out of touch. Every request is forgotten, bounced, or ignored. You sit down to eat and end up waiting. And waiting. And waiting some more.
If the low price is enough to justify such terrible service, then no. Cheap on paper, but the real cost is wasted time and frayed nerves. There are restaurants where you go to eat sushi, and then there's Sushi Niwa, where you participate in an endurance test.
Never again.
