02/12/2025: This is a fantastic Chinese restaurant, I'd call it Bologna's No. 1. The cuisine leans towards fusion; the "Ghost Chicken" and "Sad Beef" are inspired by Yunnan cuisine, while the stir-fried beef with scallions seems to be inspired by braised dishes. The Kung Pao Chicken is prepared in a very Beijing style, with a sweet lychee flavor. It's probably the best Kung Pao Chicken I've had in Bologna.

11/11/2025: I tried the all-you-can-eat option for lunch and was quite satisfied. Although there's plenty of parking in the central area of ​​Mestre, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the blue-lined parking (usually paid) is free between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on weekdays. So, it perfectly coincides with lunch hours. That said, the restaurant has a Japanese anime (cartoon character) theme, so it would be more suitable for casual lunches/dinners. Even with the cartoon theme, they've maintained a simple atmosphere without being overly so. The chairs were very comfortable and the tables were well-spaced. The bathrooms were a decent size and clean. The dishes were aesthetically pleasing and had an excellent balance of flavors. The dishes are larger than average, especially the rice/soy noodles. You'll definitely leave feeling full and satisfied. The prices are in line with the competition, so excellent. Very good, I'd go back.

03/12/2025: *5 out of 5 stars!* I just left this fantastic Chinese restaurant and I have to say it was a true culinary journey! 😋 The service was impeccable, the staff was kind and helpful. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of dishes. I tried the soy noodles with grilled vegetables and the sweet and sour pork, which was simply delicious! The meat was tender and the flavor was perfect. Everything was cooked just right, and the sides were fresh. It offers a relaxing atmosphere and a truly gastronomic journey! As a local, I highly recommend this restaurant!

16/10/2025: I tried this place and absolutely loved it! The baozi, jiaozi and the xiao long bao are super delicious you can really taste that they are freshly handmade. Waiting 9 minutes for fresh food is no problem at all, it’s totally worth it. The food was amazing and you should definitely give it a try!

The standout moment comes with the baozi, structurally soft yet generously filled, a strong example of texture and balance. The wok section shows business-grade efficiency, especially in the kung pao chicken dish, where the seasoning hits the right performance KPIs. Even in a hybrid format, Giardino Nuovo retains cultural sincerity in execution, which is not always the case in fusion-driven F&B concepts. Portion-to-value alignment is correct, the pricing framework fair for the overall quality level. 05/09/2025: I ate here two days in a row while staying in Venice Mestre. Everything was delicious, but I thought the fried rice was especially good. It's in an area that seems to have a lot of Chinese customers, so there seem to be a lot of customers from early in the evening, and they also serve Korean food. I was very satisfied with both the food and the service.

01/12/2025: Discovered while searching for an Asian restaurant in the Michelin Guide, this place was a pleasant surprise. The fusion-style atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing. The staff welcomed us courteously and showed us to a particularly pleasant table. We chose to order à la carte, letting them recommend some dishes. The dishes were excellent, with meticulous presentation and attentive, precise service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always available to accommodate guests' requests. The quality-price ratio was also excellent, with absolutely fair prices. We'll be back!

19/12/2025: Coming from Prato (there's one of the largest Chinese communities in Europe), I'm used to Chinese cuisine, but I especially love Sichuan. They make amazing beef soup. I don't understand why no one in Italy knows about it, yet we also have our own regions with fairly spicy cuisine. Ask the lady who I believe is the owner. In Chinese, the soup is called Shui Zhu Niu Rou (水煮牛肉). She makes it truly expertly. The portion is enough for four people, and I ate it all by myself. Trust me, it's delicious; the Sichuan pepper is a flavor that drives me crazy! Thank you, kind lady. Next time I'm in Rome for work, I'll definitely be back. (P.S.) I walked there from Termini in 5 minutes.
