14/10/2025: Antonio & his staff run an exceptional hotel. They accommodated a room change, scheduled a walking tour that with Angelina that was top notch, and enjoyed the restaurants for breakfast. We also misplaced a painting that Antonio found & shipped back to USA. Highly recommend Avino as destination at Ravello.
12/09/2025: I had lunch reservation in this hotel for my birthday. amazing staff very helpful and polite . the food was delicious and high quality.

06/10/2025: A small, simple but charming bar, away from the chaotic tourist area, where you can relax at the outdoor tables, with good products and an excellent Illy espresso, a cold coffee cream, and fruit juices, at prices less expensive than the town center... €9 for these three products served at the outdoor table.
The owner and a customer were very kind and helpful, giving us helpful tips on parking and a restaurant to eat at, and so... having a friendly chat and enjoying two good coffees and a pear juice in complete tranquility... When we drove down the street where the bar is located, we found a parking space in the public parking lot, which had been full 20 minutes earlier, and we stayed in Ravello for another four hours, enjoying the picturesque alleys, the beautiful Piazza Duomo, and the excellent Salvatore restaurant, with its panoramic view and the exquisite dishes recommended to us at this bar.
How could we not recommend it to all of you who read me?

27/10/2025: We obviously went with a reservation, and even though it's the end of the season, the place attracts a lot of people on nice days. The welcome was excellent, the staff professional, if not downright friendly. We asked, as we have two small children, if they could serve them first, and they obliged. We were able to enjoy their excellent pizza, the anchovy and zucchini parmigiana, the sublime lamb, and the delicious desserts—everything was delicious. Of course, the prices are a little higher than usual, but given the enchanting location, it's worth it!
22/10/2025: I wouldn't go back. You have to climb a lot of stairs to reach this pizzeria, so I don't recommend it at all for people with mobility issues. The pizzas weren't bad, but they were nowhere near up to par with those in the Neapolitan region. The staff was very friendly, but the bill was exorbitant for a pizzeria. I don't recommend it. We wanted to sit on the terrace, but apparently they weren't from the restaurant. The restaurant has a small, prefabricated wooden terrace with two tables, and it was occupied. We went based on reviews and left very disappointed.

23/10/2025: Perfect little spot for a break in Ravello! Delicious sandwiches made with fresh ingredients, fast service, and friendly staff. Reasonable prices considering the central location. Recommended for a quick snack overlooking the square!
22/10/2025: Do not waste your time. Girl at the cash register was VERY rude and had a bad attitude. Was on her phone the entire time. When the sandwiches came out they were AWFUL. Waste of money, you can get better sandwiches in Italy for CHEAPER! We fed the rest of the sandwich to the local cats, at least they enjoyed it better!

11/10/2025: Great little cafe: we sat in the garden in a quiet atmosphere with a beautiful view and strawberry trees.
04/10/2025: Very bad. Expensive. The focaccia list doesn't have anything like what it says. They only offer mortadella, and since they don't have focaccia, they substitute it with bread and bring you that cold, horrible sandwich and charge you 15 euros. A rip-off. The only nice thing about it is the view.

Have in mind they charge cutlery but don’t offer a great restaurant service (it was empty when we had dinner)

22/09/2025: Lovely restaurant on the edge of Ravello, just a short walk from the nearby parking lot. The restaurant is connected to an art store, and they even serve food on the beautifully designed plates sold there — a nice touch.
We visited with a group of eight and were given a table with gorgeous mountain views. Service was friendly and efficient for us, though we noticed a few other groups leave without ordering (not sure why).
We ordered pizzas, pasta, and lasagna. The pizzas and pasta were excellent, and while the lasagna portion was a bit small, it was still very tasty. Food arrived quickly, which was great for our group.
Overall, a great spot to enjoy a meal before exploring the beautiful town of Ravello.

29/07/2025: Lovely view of the duomo. The staff were friendly. Good menu for all kinds of coffee, yummy pancakes but they have an extensive list for breakfast too.
14/07/2025: Sí, es un poco más caro, pero eso está equilibrado por la ubicación. El café era excelente - hasta el punto de que mi esposa pidió uno también después de un sorbo mío. La bruschetta era ligera, llena de frescura y mancha.

06/06/2025: I booked a room here at the refundable rate (you must pay in full up front), and spoke with Tania via e-mail. She was response, give a few days, and very helpful. However, a month later when I unfortunately needed to cancel the entire trip due to a personal situation, I received no response to multiple e-mails asking for the refund. It has been weeks with no response. Be aware that even though there is a refund policy, it seems they do not honor it.
18/05/2025: In the Boccacelio room, it was impossible to rest because of the noise of a motor that ran 24 hours a day (it was like sleeping next to a kitchen extractor fan). Contact with the hotel management was only via WhatsApp. They were very, very sorry but offered no solution or compensation.

23/10/2025: Instead of selling bus tickets at the shops with the Tabacchi sign in Piazza Duomo, I visited a place that told me to buy bus tickets.
10/10/2025: I stopped by this small supermarket in Ravello and was so impressed by their “Ravello” sandwich — absolutely delicious! The place has such a lovely, local charm, and the elderly couple running it were incredibly kind and welcoming. You can really feel their warmth and care in everything they do. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Ravello!

25/10/2025: What unbelievable scammers they are here! Three little cakes for €15,00 and they ask for it without even blinking. So if you’re in the area, feel free to skip them and keep your money in your pocket! But as a side note, I do have to say that everything is quite expensive here!

Paying €14 for a frozen pizza is absolutely unacceptable and feels like a terrible scam. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all, especially when one expects genuine Italian food.

26/09/2025: Awful - worst food we’ve had by far in Italy. I also was told they served me GF pasta and it definitely wasn’t because I got sick. Just avoid it at all costs
