01/10/2025: We celebrated my grandfather's 80th birthday a few weeks ago. I'd been to this restaurant before, and after reading the reviews, I couldn't figure out why it was always packed. After trying it several times, we decided to book this small family celebration. Both before and for our birthday, we had divine food. Ciro (the owner and chef) is a very kind person, he made himself available to meet all our needs from the very beginning, and he's also a fantastic chef. 30/01/2026: We stumbled upon it almost by accident; the entrance is a bit hidden, unassuming...but as soon as we entered, we were blown away. The restaurant is spacious, accessible to those with disabilities, tastefully decorated, in my opinion, and run like a trattoria—a place to chat, eat well, and drink good wine. Ciro served us, born and raised in a family that has been in the restaurant business for three generations in Somma Vesuviana (and it shows); he's friendly, personable, and always ready to share anecdotes about the local cuisine. First courses are served in a "tianello" (a small wooden tray), second courses include both meat and fish (especially cod), and a variety of delicious fried dishes. Prices are reasonable, in line with the quality of the food. We'll be back.

18/12/2025: We spent a wonderful evening at this beautiful location celebrating my daughter's graduation. The staff was warm and welcoming, offering a welcome toast. Once we were seated at our tables, they began serving a variety of appetizers, from dairy products to cured meats, fried ricotta, Neapolitan-style vegetables (i.e., broccoli rabe, stewed escarole, and a multicolored cauliflower compote), followed by tempura prawns with fried cod, eggplant parmigiana, Mexican-style beans, delicious seafood trofie, and finally fruit with cake and liqueurs. The prices are good for the quality and aren't as advertised, but rather higher depending on the menu chosen.

09/12/2025: I celebrated my eighteenth birthday here and it was a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, with attention to every detail and plenty of it, and everyone loved it. The staff was incredibly kind, always available and attentive to every need, making the evening even more enjoyable. A special thanks also to the owner, who was professional and welcoming, and who oversaw the organization with great availability. I recommend this venue to anyone looking for a special event without any worries!

16/03/2026: The seafood paella was exceptional but the cold cuts and cheeses on the menu left a lot to be desired!

15/02/2026: We went to Osteria Summa Terra on Valentine's Day and the experience was disappointing. The welcome glass was taken away while we were still drinking, and the plates were taken away without asking if we were finished, even though there was still food: inattentive and unprofessional service. The appetizer was decent, but the first courses were awful: paccheri with almost nonexistent scampi, four of them counted and raw, just a sauce; crespelle were burnt and had an inedible filling. The second courses were below expectations: roast beef served cold without any specifics, and very salty fried cod with chips that tasted only of oil. The dessert was a cheesecake-like dessert with red fruits that tasted artificial; the only positive was the coffee. We both had stomach upsets immediately after dinner. The bathrooms were in a terrible state, and the staff should check them more frequently. The bill of €85 was completely unjustified. We won't be returning.

18/12/2025: The quality of the meat didn't justify the exorbitant price. The staff seemed more disinterested than interested in serving us. Finally, five minutes after finishing our meal, we were discreetly asked to pay and leave. The restaurant, as demonstrated by its prices and concept, clearly aims to emulate Nusret, but falls far short in terms of quality and elegance.

13/12/2025: Dark and dated place. A steak like the one you get at the supermarket, served cold. Cost? 120 euros. I repeat, an 800g steak costs 120 euros. Foreign meat and not at all quality. Shameful. Elsewhere I've eaten very high-quality meat, in very respectable locations where the price was worth it.
