07/11/2025: I must say I had a wonderful meal in a very nice and welcoming place. The steak with gorgonzola was spectacular, the fried fish lightly, and I also tried a slice of truly excellent pizza. The staff was truly friendly and helpful. Top marks.
05/11/2025: Once again, La Cantinaccia didn't disappoint! This time I ordered takeout, and I have to say the quality is the same as when you eat in: well-prepared dishes, generous portions, and everything arrived hot and perfect.
You can feel the passion and consistency in maintaining the high standard, even outside the restaurant. Kudos, as always, to Sebastiano, who proves himself to be a true host even from afar! 👏🍷

We visited this culinary gem on the recommendation of some local friends, and were pleasantly surprised: every dish far exceeded our expectations! If you want to feel pampered and enjoy quality products, let yourself be guided by the mastery of Enzo, the owner, who will tailor a culinary experience for you: attentive to personal tastes and intolerances, he knows how to balance dishes and wines like an alchemist. Don't miss the meat: we tried a super tender Charolais, which you could cut with a fork! Thank you, Enzo, for making us feel at home.
03/05/2025: An intimate and welcoming place. Mr. Enzo is very friendly and helped us choose the dishes and wine. Everything was truly excellent. Delicious dishes, a blend of traditional and modern, beautifully presented. Highly recommended.

04/11/2025: I went with my wife. We ate pizza and had a little aperitif. The pizza was good, I digested it without any problem, the ingredients were good. The place is a mix of elegance and sobriety. We liked it a lot. The waiters were all better than the other. I recommend it and I will go again.

09/10/2025: Good morning; we decided to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday at this restaurant; and Antonio, the owner, immediately made himself available, accommodating all my requests and needs. I chose a seafood menu; the food was quality and super abundant; excellent price; they made the room with the structure set up for the event available to me; Ciro, the waiter, was very kind to all the guests; furthermore, the children had fun because the place offers a well-equipped playground inside... What can I say... we were extremely satisfied; I highly recommend you try it!!! Thanks again to Antonio and all the "Essenza del Gusto" staff for making our evening truly special and unforgettable!!!

19/10/2025: Our last night in Italy and we lucked into our best dining experience. We came 20 minutes before our reservation time, having an early morning flight out of Naples and the owner, Giovanni, couldn’t have been more welcoming, setting us up with wine and delicious antipasti of shaved meats and savory cheeses, while he made his way back and forth between the kitchen and our table. The main dish, a simple butter, cheese and truffle fettuccini, was out of this world good.. As we finished with some delicious biscuits, he called in his lovely wife, Joanna, and one of his two sons and made us feel as if we had had dinner at an old friend’s. Clearly, the best meal and best experience of our trip!
23/08/2025: The menu is too limited; you end up ordering the same thing over and over again. The culinary offerings aren't particularly sophisticated. Fondue is a no-no in August...they need a change. As for the service...I don't think a wine bar can afford to have table staff who know nothing about wine. People eat on the street in the summer.

22/08/2025: I went there on a weekday and had a great time.
The strong point is definitely the atmosphere, which allows you to delve into icons of the past (but also of the present).
We ate very well, everything was good, except for the desserts (both desserts we chose weren't up to par with the other dishes we tried).
I would recommend it to everyone...
friends, couples, and families. It's a place where you can eat well and enjoy a different atmosphere than the usual pub.

28/09/2025: A welcoming restaurant with an outdoor area that's truly pleasant in the summer.
A simple menu, yet still offering typical Neapolitan dishes, at reasonable prices. I recommend the Genovese, which is very well made.
The owner is very helpful and friendly, and will help you choose.
I will definitely be back.
