01/08/2025: I want to begin this review with a premise: the main drink at the table, as in everyday life, is WATER! You can't go to a restaurant and be forced to drink "fountain water" when you're used to mineral water at home. They say it's "microfiltered," they say they give it to their children, but that doesn't mean you can't force customers to drink tap water. And they charge €2.50 per liter, like the best mineral waters. Totally unacceptable. I've already politely and politely pointed out to the owners that their selection isn't up to the restaurant's standards, but they turned me down. This shows a lack of attention to customer needs, which are varied and, when it comes to drinks, can't be reduced to a one-size-fits-all approach. To make myself clear: the restaurant has an excellent wine cellar and offers a varied selection of wines and beers. The customer chooses. Why should the water be what they say, even from the tap, and that's it? I don't understand, I don't accept it, it takes away the restaurant's credibility, it's impossible. Now let's move on to the rest of the review. This place is known for its cod. And for its excellent pizzeria. On Holy Thursday, they make one of the best mussel soups. Cod carpaccio, in meatballs, grilled, fried, can be found in the first courses, and in some "refined" options, even if they aren't always successful. I wanted to try the grilled calamari, prepared in a somewhat untraditional way, and I didn't like it. It wasn't very soft, and arrived cold. The pizzas are among the best in the area. Excellent ingredients, soft, light, and easily digestible dough. The desserts were among the best some time ago, partly because they had a special tiramisu, which was served with hot coffee poured on the spot over a cup of dark chocolate that was also part of the dish. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. Prices are a bit high, but many of the dishes are also of high quality. Elegant venue, efficient staff, convenient parking.

Passiamo ai primi … pasta e patate con provola il top … proseguiamo con una grigliata di carne mista a dir poco eccezionale … patatine e insalata e per concludere dolce della casa e limoncello. Da ripetere sicuramente. Il personale di sala dei veri professionisti. CONSIGLIATISSIMO !

12/07/2025: The restaurant itself is great, the food is delicious, portions are generous, and prices are more than fair for the quality. But the service was unacceptable. We started eating around 7:30 PM, and from 8:00 PM the staff kept coming over asking if they could take our plates, even though there was still food on them. It was obvious they wanted us to leave. They stood nearby, staring at us, and kept talking to each other while clearly looking at our table with disapproval. No one explained anything because they didn’t speak English, and we don’t speak Italian. When I talked to the manager, who was polite and respectful, he told me the table was reserved, but we could stay and see what to do when the guests arrived. So we stayed. But the other staff ignored what he said and continued pressuring us. They even took away our plates and cutlery without asking and never brought new ones. Only the manager and a woman named Marina were professional. The rest of the staff seriously need training in basic hospitality. If a table is only available for a limited time, this needs to be made clear from the beginning. Making guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcome while they’re still eating is simply not okay.

28/03/2025: I'll just say that entering felt like stepping back into Umbria or Tuscany. A winery that leaves you scratching your head when it comes to choosing. Excellent, well-prepared food. The owner also makes recommendations based on your tastes and desires. I must return to try more, and more.

25/02/2025: Excellent quality of raw materials, prepared with passion and served with love. Good wines. Small and familiar environment that makes you feel at home. Very nice location in summer when it is possible to be outdoors. It is our entire family's favorite tavern.

18/02/2025: Un rifugio più che un ristorante, perché quando trascorri del tempo qui ti senti a casa. La cucina di questo ristorante è eccezionale, quello che mi ha colpito è la semplicità dei gusti che al contempo sono saporiti e decisi. Piatti della tradizione fatti a regola d' arte che non vogliono essere stravolti, e riesci a gustarti dalla prima all' ultima portata ( nonostante le porzioni abbondanti) gustando distintamente ogni gusto. La GENOVESE merita una citazione perché è assolutamente ECCEZIONALE la migliore mai mangiata.
