02/11/2024: This place was a truly authentic and traditional Ischian restaurant. The food was clearly fresh and local. Most impressive was Francesco, who I believe to be the owner, who is incredibly dedicated to his craft of running this restaurant. Thank you for the great dinner! Can’t recommend enough.

10/08/2024: I really liked this pizzeria, we had a good time. The place is small but welcoming. The pizza has a light dough and a pleasant consistency, the toppings are also good, although they could be "organised" better: if I take a pizza with stracciatella, I expect to be able to taste it in every bite, not just with 4 bites. The pizza with gorgonzola was good, but the cheese was not very tasty and not very present in the taste. The margherita and the pizza with tuna are excellent. To return!

24/11/2024: A superb experience for a sunny Sunday lunch. We ate outside, on the superb terrace nestled in the lush garden, with a view of the sea in the distance. The dishes, generous, were delicious; the wine was excellent and reasonably priced. The service provided by Pasquale was pleasant, calm and courteous. Highly recommended.

25/10/2024: A small beachside restaurant with a very friendly welcome. Tasty food, including the Gulf fish fry and the very well cooked tuna. Everything was fresh and tasty. Reasonable prices We had a great time there. We recommend

08/10/2024: Good location right on the beach, terrace with around 30 seats, even more indoors. Friendly multilingual waiter, unfortunately his colleague seems quite unmotivated. We had Spaghetti alle Vongole, quite a small portion with a few mussels, but for €16 - value for money is not right here.

16/11/2024: We did the "all pizza" formula, a sort of all you can eat, at €10 each excluding drinks, so we tasted 7/8 different pizzas, and for us who came from Naples, we really appreciated the pizzas, very good nice cooked not heavy and good flavor of the products on the pizzas, worth it, excellent prices

03/11/2024: Very tasty food and a huge selection of pizzas, freshly prepared in the wood-fired oven. The service is great and the staff is very nice. Some even speak German. The pasta and salads were also excellent.

10/10/2024: Ristorante trascurato e non curato, con parcheggio auto in stato di abbandono. Pranzo da dimenticare con un primo classico spaghetti con le vongole, preparato con vongole vuote e poche buone infatti pieno di olio per far insaporire gli spaghetti, sicuramente le vongole vuote del mio piatto gireranno con altri clienti, il secondo frittura di calamari, pochi anelli e duri naturalmente senza il ciuffo di tentacoli, scadente. Il tutto da dimenticare, la cameriera con il mio giudizio costernato non proferiva parola, forse abituata dai rimbrotti dei clienti. Da cancellare nei ricordi

03/10/2024: Proprio a due passi dalla baia di sorgeto, questo ristorante molto alla mano offre ottime portate di sia di terra che di mare! Le porzioni poi sono enormi Con un primo ci mangiano tranquillamente due persone . Prezzi ottimi e servizio molto cortese Da tornarci!

06/10/2024: Amazing place where we got takeaway. It's so good and so comforting! Even the person who served us was lovely. We understand his Italian, but to explain what his dishes contained, he spoke to us in English (Italian English but English all the same)!

25/08/2024: The dinner was not worth the money at all (a plate of seafood and local wine cost 44 euros), the salted fish in batter was dubious, it felt like it was a portion that was rejected because the batter was cold. Indicated for two, but the portion is not large.

25/08/2024: The restaurant is ideally located on the beach. It benefits from a beautiful terrace. The service is fast and efficient. The spaghetti al cozze (mussels) are excellent, the tuna salad very fresh. A special mention for their well-measured Spritz.

16/11/2024: Very good food and pizzas. Typical dishes of the area. When I went they had coniglio all'ischitana (although they shouldn't always have it) which is difficult to find in restaurants on the coast. It usually fills up and we didn't have a reservation but after waiting a while they passed us on.

05/11/2024: Lovely spot to enjoy authentic local pizza. I was happy to find it busy at lunchtime, with lots of locals—a great feeling to be among families, kids, and seniors. I had two cappuccinos, as the Italian cappuccino experience is truly unique compared to Western Europe. Service was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a genuine local atmosphere!

21/08/2024: Di nuovo qui dopo quasi 10 anni e il tempo non sembra passato per La Sciavica. Ottima accoglienza, ottimo il cibo in qualità e preparazione. Prezzo adeguato, d’altra parte siamo nell’isola di Ischia ad agosto…Pranzo e cena sempre disponibili. Da tenere sempre presenti

06/08/2024: Great restaurant!! We were there for almost 5 hours and were served very well during that long time (not too intrusive but not too little either)...The price was absolutely right but the portions could be a bit larger...very nice waiters and good wine

30/09/2024: The small hotel is in a good location and the whole TEAM can see where the guests are missing.

23/08/2024: We ate at the restaurant and spent a wonderful evening, with excellent food (the house specialty, anchovies alla rondinella, are a delicacy), very friendly staff and a general atmosphere in the garden that had something familiar and relaxing about it. We recommend!

22/08/2024: Con la voglia di chi approda nel nido culinario di una specialità prenotiamo un tavolo per gustare la famosa zingara ischitana nella sua più profonda origine. Ci arriva un panino con provola e pomodoro ed alle nostre rimostranze siamo stati liquidati con un secco "noi la facciamo così" e dietrofront lasciandoci di stucco. Come andare a Napoli ordinare la pizza ed arrivano gli ingredienti sulla piadina. Ovviamente ci aspettavamo almeno che ci avvisassero prima che c'era una importante e fondamentale variante. Probabilmente e mi auguro avessero finito il pane che forma il crostone fondamentale per quella specialità che siamo poi andata a mangiare altrove. Imbarazzante, ordinate altro e fatemi sapere se trovate nel piatto ciò che vi aspettate.....

21/08/2024: Ogni volta che torniamo ad Ischia siamo venuti sempre volentieri. Questa volta l'organizzazione è venuta meno. Dalla comanda sbagliata, da menù oltre all'antipasto ordiniamo lasagna e paccheri salsiccia provola e melanzane e dei contorni, arrivano pasta al forno e parmigiana con il primo contorno, decidiamo di soprassedere sulla pasta al forno ma aspettiamo i paccheri che arrivano col secondo contorno, risultato mia moglie mangia prime ed io dopo. A chidere l'esperienza mi sono dovuto alzare alla ricerca di un cameriere per una seconda bottiglia d'acqua.

13/08/2024: 5 stars for these reasons: - they will pick you up with the shuttle to avoid the bump of the climb (if you are on foot) - poor but very genuine cuisine, made the most of by the skill of their chefs. Nothing particularly sophisticated but every dish was the bomb: the parmigiana was exquisite, the peppers were perfect. - their crocchè was sensational, fried as God commands (so it is not at all greasy and the breading is very crunchy). They could have offered us bitters as the icing on the cake but this doesn't detract from a good 10
