20/07/2024: I went this evening as a half moon, right from the start the starter was miserable. Then we ordered the pizzas (5) we waited 2 hours and there was no trace of the pizzas we asked and they told us "still 30 minutes" in the in the meantime other people had come after us and the pizza arrived immediately. So we had to make do with paltry appetizers. In all it cost us €80 (which in another restaurant we would have eaten more and better) Complete by saying that it was the worst experience of my life I will not go back. And while we were eating these miserable things there were people smoking under a tent that seemed to be arranged at the last moment

13/07/2024: The place is nice and well looked after, the normal food is not applause, the quantities are few and the prices are high, it wants to be a gourmet place but, considering everything, the location and the mini car park, it is not.

02/06/2024: If this is a summer opening then the summer will be a real flop. Table booked a month in advance, we sit down at 9pm and at 9.30pm we order drinks and appetizers, judging by the shocked faces made by the girl in the suit who took our order I wondered several times if we had spoken in some ancient language or he simply didn't want to be there at all. Around 10pm our order arrives, with the artists starting to perform I am amazed at how they have created such a beautiful situation here in southern Italy, but after half an hour it starts to rain. Working in restaurant management, I understand the discomfort that heavy rain can bring when having to stop the artists and having to move some customers who were sitting outdoors, but we didn't see any more staff until 10.50pm, when we asked one of the staff again for the menus. waiters who fled between the tables... 11.20pm, second request for the menus, 11.45pm third request for the menus which do not arrive, but this time the waiter asks us "the menus for what?" after telling him that we wanted to finish eating the answer was a firm "NO! The kitchen closes at midnight" so against all catering rules we didn't have those 15 minutes to order again... It stops raining and the artists start performing again, while the waiters continued to serve other courses to the tables for at least another 40 minutes, we decide to order two more bottles of prosecco, to enjoy the music and at least leave happy. But at a certain point the artists announce that they will stop for 10 minutes to rest and then resume, the singer doesn't want to but the singer whispers something in her ear, and these 10 minutes of break are never over, we decide to go to pay to go out to eat something... We pass among the artists who were at the internal bar drinking their alcohol and having fun with each other and other customers... And we discover from the bill that the bottles of prosecco had cost us €60 each, as if we had been in one of the best private rooms places in Posillipo... Let's pay this very high bill and leave as soon as possible to fill our bellies elsewhere... I must say that the "experience" was truly unforgettable, in the sense that I have never seen the staff of a restaurant act in this way, and I certainly wouldn't go back to be made fun of again. It's a shame because it all started off great, the food was very good, and the place really has a lot of potential. Furthermore, if in a restaurant the kitchen closes at midnight, this should mean that at 11.59pm I still have every right to order.

10/11/2024: Con grande dolore confermo che le recensioni negative di questo ristorante riflettono la realtà. Ho amato questo locale per il calore del precedente proprietario, la varietà del cibo e lo splendido panorama, ma mancavo da un’infinità di anni e, oggi, il degrado e la sporcizia regnano sovrani. Ma non è il peggio; perché la più grande delusione è stato subire la maleducazione del presunto nuovo gestore e sentire i toni sprezzanti (persino le urla) rivolte al cameriere che, con dolcezza e diligenza, stava facendo il suo lavoro. Per onestà devo dire che fritti e pizza marinara sono stati buoni ma il prezzo eccessivo e non siamo stati in grado di controllare se ci fossero errori perché non ci è stato portato nulla per verificare. Sconsigliatissimo, soprattutto perché l’umanità, la disponibilità, l’educazione e la simpatia dei napoletani non sono qui.

04/11/2024: Mi trovo per caso in questo locale, purtroppo avevamo già ordinato quando iniziamo a guardare il locale "fatiscente" Non viene pulito da anni. Va veramente ribrezzo Per andare al bagno bisogna farsi l'antitetanica. Pulivano le tovaglie con le mani senza nemmeno toglierle dal tavolo sulle quali poi apparecchiavano nuovamente. Bestemmie e insulti al povero Eugenio non mancavano ( signore con evideti problemi) Fumavano in sala e in cucina. Il Tetto sembrava cadere da un secondo a l'altro, nel vano inferiore sembrava esserci stato un terremoto e abbandonato da almeno 40 anni. Ed a pensarci bene è fermo a 40 anni fa Non credo abbia i requisiti per stare aperto e non so come nessuno controlla.

18/03/2024: Sono stato Domenica a pranzo, dopo aver visitato gli scavi di Ercolano. Devo dire che è stato il giusto coronamento a una mattinata splendida. Il locale è davvero molto carino e curato, l'accoglienza è squisita, il servizio è stato impeccabile e allo stesso tempo casereccio. Io mi sono trovato davvero splendidamente. Il cibo ci ha lasciati a bocca aperta. Abbiamo preso antipasto in condivisione, pasta al ragù napoletano, polpette e friarielli... Ogni piatto ha superato le aspettative. Non pensavo potesse andare meglio di così, e invece il dolce è stato ancora meglio. Il tiramisù al limone è la fine del mondo. Il Caffè alla moka è stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Siamo stati benissimo e pensavamo di pagare di più, invece il prezzo è assolutamente ottimo. Grazie ancora alle ragazze! È stato un piacere!

17/03/2024: Limited choice, overpriced, portions quite small and bland, wouldn’t recommend especially to a vegetarian as there was only one choice for the main meal, however the waitress was nice!

24/08/2024: Not recommended, better continue a few more kilometers and eat outside the tourist area, especially if you are a foreigner and still have no judgment. The quality of the food was not bad but after a week in Naples and surrounding areas I can attest that the quality-price ratio could be improved (pasta at €20-25). Better not to order off the menu. The views are spectacular but be careful with the sun on the terrace. If you finally don't follow the advice and stop, eat in the dining room. There are also views.

24/08/2024: The location of Cratere sul Vesuvio is truly splendid and fresh, with a breathtaking view that adds a special touch to the dining experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the meal enjoyable and relaxing. However, despite the lovely atmosphere and friendly service, I expected something more from the food. Although it was good, it did not reach the expectations I had for such an impressive place. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but with some reservations on the level of cuisine.

05/08/2024: Let me start by saying that the first disruption/disagree arose in the car park, unfortunately to reach the crater you inevitably have to make a fairly steep climb with the road surface made up of pebbles, gravel... the car parkers have seen fit to position themselves at the steepest and most it's where cars stop to follow their instructions on where to park. It's a shame that this position causes cars to stop, even the best performing ones, because when you set off again, you have to play with half a tire since you can't get on and you inevitably have to scrape this gravel with your tires. When I went to tell the valet, very politely, I received a response as if I was wrong to tell them to stand lower and that I should mind my own business. Bah! Usual Neapolitan education where the concept of dialogue has no longer existed for years. Once this inconvenience is over, we enter the place where there are no more seats as they are all sold out, good! We then ask how long the wait was for a table and the waiters could not answer, replying that we could have easily taken a box and eaten it in front of the panoramic balcony (without chairs, tables or suitable positions... Practically standing) we accept this condition, now we were there, let's go to the house to pay for this box... and here's the third inconvenience... a box with two omelettes, three tachos, two sandwiches (the very small ones used during refreshments) two cans of still water, €50 !!!! €50!!!! I have no words! In short, during the wait, a good 30 minutes, we took advantage of a table that had become free to sit and consume these very expensive dishes... To finish the story, because this is a story! Cold food is no big deal. Synthesis? I advise whoever manages this place to review the total management of the place for a moment, starting from the parking lot and ending with the goodbye…. I recommend hiring people who at least want to work, I recommend placing more tables and more chairs because the place is worth it but you are literally ruining it!

24/07/2024: We weren’t expecting much, but the pizza and pasta we had were lovely. The service was also great. Worth a visit if needing lunch before exploring the ruins.

17/07/2024: Here is a modest restaurant at the right price as I like them... Generous and good quality portions, a garden side which allows you to eat outside sheltered from the sun. BRAVO, don’t change anything (except the olives perhaps) It feels good to break away from tourist stereotypes.

25/08/2024: È la seconda volta che pranziamo in questo ristorante e anche oggi siamo stati accolti benissimo e abbiamo mangiato veramente bene ! Dagli antipasti ai dolci tutto buonissimo ,senza tralasciare una vista stupenda e una temperatura piacevolissima grazie alla sistemazione del tavolo all’ombra di grandi alberi.Torneremo sicuramente e porteremo altri amici , come abbiamo fatto oggi

17/08/2024: Il faut y venir ne serait-ce que pour la vue époustouflante sur le golfe de Naples. En plus, on y mange bien: des plats simples tels que des aubergines à la parmigiana, du saumon grillé, des calamars frits. Nous y sommes ammés un samedi soir, il y avait donc pas mal de monde et les serveurs étaient un peu débordés mais nous avons quand même été servis assez rapidement. Une expérience unique: allez-y!

27/09/2024: Come rovinarsi una serata. Sporcizia nelle vetrine da fare schifo, tovaglioli e stracci buttati sui cornetti stantii del giorno prima. Tutto in bellla mostra in vetrina. Il resto? una rapina. pietosi. 3 euro mezzo litro d'acqua . ho girato il mondo e neanche in angola ti servono da bere SENZA neanche uno stuzzichino e se lo chiedi te lo portano e te lo ritrovi nel conto ad 8 euro... scappate altrove, di sicuro trovate di meglio ad occhi chiusi.

22/09/2024: Meno di zero SCONVOLTA sono appena uscita dal bar nn sono solita lasciare recenzioni ma scusatemi questa volta ci sta,Ma è assurdo far pagare un servizio plaid 2,50€ cadauno abbiamo trovato 10€ in piu sul conto senza neanche dirci che cmq c era un costo per questo servizio . Vorrei allegarvi lo scontrino ... AH NO..... LA COMANDA DEL GRSTIONALE [io avevo freddo lo avrei preso lo stesso ma almeno ditelo che almeno una persona è consapevole] e poi 2,50 € spero che effettuate un servizio lavanderia
