26/11/2024: I went to Viva Lo Re for a business lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The Golden Mile, with its Vesuvian villas such as Villa Campolieto, is always worth a visit: it is a unique place that combines history, art and breathtaking landscapes. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with an intimate atmosphere and cheerful, attentive staff. The furnishings are meticulous in detail, as is the service, which is always courteous and helpful. The wine list is extensive, with a selection that highlights local products: excellent and more than honestly priced. I started with the “Lo Re” appetizer, an experience that varies every time. In my case, it included five tastings of sea and land, all well balanced and tasty. I then continued with a simple but surprising first course: a garlic and oil enriched with a parmesan fondue, perfectly executed. A lunch that was able to combine authentic flavors and great attention to detail. I will definitely come back.

26/11/2024: Very nice and well-kept place. Very professional and attentive staff. Prices above average. Pizza that didn't convince me, with a slightly tough dough. Good topping. Mine had a burnt edge on one side and I pointed this out to the waitress. When paying the bill, a small discount was applied for the burnt edge of the pizza.

23/11/2024: La peor comida después de una semana en Italia. Hay un bar alto para el café en Italia y el capuchino aquí era horrible, no pude terminarlo. Base de pizza bien, muy pobre. ¡La puerta estaba cubierta con visa y otros signos de pago con tarjeta, pero luego dijeron en el punto de pago solo efectivo! Esto significó un viaje a un cajero automático, lo que significa que nos perdimos Hercoleum por 3 minutos. Sin encanto ni atención al cliente

01/11/2024: Esta es una pizzería casual no lejos de la estación Ercolano. No te dejes llevar por el hecho de que no es un restaurante de lujo. Este lugar sirvió la mejor pizza en las dos semanas que pasamos viajando por la península Sorrentina. Somos vegetarianos así que elegimos opciones sin carne y pescado. Nuestro pizzería estaba delicioso, hecho con buenos ingredientes y cocinado a la perfección. El ajo y el orégano marcan la diferencia y parecen ser usados como estándar aquí. Estoy seguro de que también podría probar el queso provolone en el mío que es sublime. Ve y prueba este lugar por ti mismo. Perfecto después de un día agotador mirando alrededor de Ercolano Scavi (Herculano) . No te arrepentirás.

02/09/2024: Deluxe looking pastry shop with non-deluxe prices. We tried the lemon sfogliatelle and the cream was amazing. Not too sweet with a natural scent of lemon. Just stop by for a treat before going for the ruins

The staff stands out for their kindness, professionalism and availability, always attentive to satisfying every need. The quality of the food is excellent, with a wide choice of delicious and well-prepared dishes. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, which makes the experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended for those looking for a family environment without sacrificing quality!

Good food but rigid formula: - cutting board plus first course - cutting board plus second - cutting board plus first course, plus second course. -Sweet Drinks aside. The waitress who presents the menu and takes orders is not very polite. I don't think I'll go back.

06/07/2024: Very nice restaurant on the climb from Herculaneum to above Vesuvius. Excellent location especially in hot periods to escape from the heat of the city. Type of fixed menu including starters, first courses and second courses. Average quality, good cut of beef. Helpful and gallant staff. Reservation appreciated. Also recommended for freshness.

23/10/2024: Precioso restaurante con un ambiente familiar muy relajado. Gran selección de pizza, pasta, carne y pescado. Al mismo tiempo había una fiesta de cumpleaños infantil que lo hizo un poco ruidoso, pero mostró que era un lugar frecuentado por los lugareños, así como por nosotros los turistas.
