06/11/2025: The burger was not bad, more like a semi-finished product, but it tasted good. For being on the main street right behind the bus stop between the train station and the archaeological center, the prices were surprisingly good. Burger for €7, large fries, which were enough for two people, for €4.
I certainly won't say how good the burger was and that I would want it again, I've had many much better ones, but I'm actually very satisfied with it. Friendly service, great place, great prices and a great location. So I would go here again next time.

03/12/2025: I've been there twice, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It's a simple pizzeria, perfect for those who want to grab a quick bite. It's fairly clean.

06/08/2025: I was at this restaurant for a ceremony. It was a beautiful, air-conditioned location where we ate a delicious seafood dinner paired with good wine!
I would 100% recommend trying this restaurant. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

24/06/2025: We came here for a lunch between climbing Vesuvius and visiting the ruins at Herculaneum. Did not speak any Italian, really, and they did not speak any English, but they were very helpful and the food was excellent! Went up the street a bit to eat on a bench, and as we were walking back past, they came running out with something we had left inside.

11/09/2025: Absolutely superb souvenir shop. Far better than the tat that is available at the Vesuvius entrance. We stopped on the way up and the way back down which definitely shows that quality of the merchandise. Then a couple of decent espressos at the adjacent restaurant.
04/09/2025: Excellent food, well-cooked. We came for a snack, then had lunch because the smells from the kitchen seduced us. 😍 The staff (especially the lady and her husband) are friendly and good company. It was a family stop before continuing. We'll be back soon! P.S. Be careful with the red wine...it's so good it's addictive. 😂

14/10/2025: We stayed across the road for 4 days. My husband became addicted to the chocolate logs. I loved the gelato. They have a good selection of gluten free treats. We went late on Sunday morning and the place was frantic with locals getting boxes of creative deliciousness, presumably for their family but maybe just for themselves. After reading other reviews I will buy a sfogliatelle (is that right?)
If you are walking to the train after visiting Herculaneum it is on the left near the top of the hill. You will be hot and tired. A visit here will make you feel much better. No tables but handy benches to rest on.

30/10/2025: The ambiance takes some getting used to (very bright, somewhat kitschy), but the service was initially very friendly. The pasta with two kinds of tomato sauce was exceptionally good. The mixed fish appetizers were nothing special, as was the penne with tomato sauce. And when we couldn't/didn't want to eat our fried seafood because a lot of red egg liquid splattered all over everything when a shrimp was opened, we were very rudely told that this was part of the experience and had to pay the full €16 for it. The restaurant was almost empty, which is why we were surprised that they didn't seem to care at all whether guests would want to return.
21/10/2025: Delicious fish dishes.
Good selection of dishes. The pizza looked very good and others would order it a lot.
I wouldn't drink a cocktail again; I personally didn't like it. Wine is better.

I just didn't realize I'd ordered a pizza and fries. 🤣 The pizza maker even heated up the oven for the atmospheric photo I wanted and recommended a delicious wine!
It might not be the most charming restaurant, but the food was fantastic and close to our accommodation!
28/09/2025: The pizza wasn't bad, but my daughter's pizza was charred, and when I pointed this out to the owner, he apologized and offered a €2 discount.
You don't understand anything!

27/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at Al Golden Mile on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the company of three dear friends with whom I had visited the watch exhibition held at Villa Signorini. After a few moments of waiting, we settled in comfortably and immediately ordered, with my companions choosing veal with tuna sauce and me—a lifelong pasta lover—spaghetti alla Nerano (especially because I was intrigued by the maître d' ... So, I'll let a couple of pictures do the talking and thank all the restaurant staff again for the warm welcome and the fantastic treatment we received. We definitely want to return!

25/09/2025: We discovered this place by accident as the hotel restaurant where we were staying was closed that night. The menu is simple and straightforward and the staff friendly enough. We had like a mixed starter including octopus calamari and other nice bits and peices. We then followed that with a calzone for me and gnocchi, which after the size of the starter we did struggle to finish. Overall a nice dining experience with lovely views over Naples to boot.
20/09/2025: We went to De Vito twice whilst we were staying at the Il San Cristoforo - we can't understand why the ratings are low for this place, it's a very authentic restaurant serving fantastic food. It isn't super modern but it adds to the charm and the views from the courtyard over the Bay of Naples are fantastic. The waiters who served us were very professional and accommodating and the sharing platter was a real taste of local cuisine made with passion. The chefs even drove us to and from the restaurant for free. Definitely worth visiting if you want an authentic Italian eating experience.
