Excellent quality raw seafood appetizers like the rest of the appetizers prepared and plated very well. First courses a little bland but overall decent. Good dry frying without residual oil. Price around 60/70 euros per person for Sunday lunch.
17/12/2024: Suggestive position to consider even in winter. Structure takes care of even the smallest details even in the garden. Friendly and professional waiters, food up to par.

19/11/2024: Enchanting structure which with its various terraces descends onto the sea but the first thing that strikes you is the breathtaking view of the boats that choreograph the beautiful backdrop of the island of Punta Pennata. Moving on to the dishes, they are of an enjoyment and delicacy that have no equal and the oddity if we want to call it that is that you never eat the same dish, every time I have gone I have never eaten the same dish in fact in this you have to do the congratulations to the chef who has the courage to dare and make unthinkable combinations of raw materials. Lastly, and not because it is last in order, is the professionalism and friendliness of all the staff and this means that Villa Mirabilis has both landscape beauty and human beauty on its side and both are its strong points.

01/01/2025: What can we say about Cafè Velò Bistrot other than that it is one of the places of the soul? We could certainly argue about the quality and high workmanship of the products, the goodness of the coffee or the immense courtesy of the staff, but the reality is that Velò is a somewhat magical place, where Alessandro's love for pastry art, combined with the love for company and people, they created a dreamlike place, with clear cinematic features. Sitting for a few moments at one of the few, intimate tables in the room furnished with an eccentric but cohesive taste, is a bit like entering the heart of a French film from a few decades ago; you are surrounded by a slightly retro air, which eventually enters you and is taken away. Monica's kindness and familiarity, with her sweet but composed way of making you feel at home, complete the warm and inviting atmosphere of this place out of this world. And let's not forget Pietro, always kind and accommodating and never intrusive, but with that attitude that immediately puts you in a good mood. In short, if you are looking for a place to have breakfast you can also come in here, but if you are looking for an oasis of dreamlike peace where you can leave worldly worries out and enjoy a moment of total joy for the palate, the eyes and the soul, then you MUST come in, and if you can, don't come out again!

14/01/2025: We celebrated my sister's eighteenth birthday here, and we are completely satisfied! Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the location to the delicious and high quality food. Particular attention was also paid to one of our lactose intolerant guests, who really appreciated it! A special mention goes to Erasmo and his collaborators who, with enormous availability, did everything to satisfy our requests. Highly recommended!
12/01/2025: I had a splendid fiftieth anniversary. Refined place, with warm tones. The spaces are welcoming and well distributed. It will certainly be at its best in the spring/summer period where you can also enjoy the splendid scenery of the Baia castle and the panorama. I have celiac disease and there was no problem with the menu, specifically dedicated to me, which was also fresh and tasty. All served with attention and taste.

We spent time talking about great things with them, we were able to work on our computers without problem and enjoy their great coffees. We will go back as soon as we are back in the area! And we hope this time we can enjoy karaoke :)

21/12/2024: Particular place, limited number of tables, minimalist style. In the enjoyable background, amazing old French music. On one wall the neon writing "Everything is possible" gives an idea of ​​the gastronomic philosophy behind the project. Luca, the co-owner together with Chef Luigi, takes us by the hand on a sensorial journey made up of six fish-based courses, caressed by original, surprising formulas, without specific boundaries and often illuminated by the scented gaze of the citrus fruits of the Campi Flegrei. The wine pairing is rigorous in its perfection, from the appetizer to the dessert. At the end of dinner, we find ourselves reflecting, amazed, on the exhilaration of the palate we have just experienced. Highly recommended restaurant, which rightfully enters the culinary memory, immersed in an area unique in terms of beauty, history and personality.
01/12/2024: The "Hosteria Bugiarda" promises well and... NEVER lies. Not only in photos, but also in person, both the environment and the dishes are excellent, meticulously cared for in every detail, and denote a great gastronomic and aesthetic taste of the owners Luigi, Luca and Rossella, well assisted by their collaborators. The cuisine of the Hosteria Bugiarda is strongly anchored in the Mediterranean culinary tradition, with wise and refined reinterpretations that make all the dishes, including desserts, even more pleasant to the eye and to the taste. The cellar is stocked with the best and most representative labels of Campania, Italian and international wine production. The original and welcoming room is beautiful, characterized by a ceiling with pastel green tufaceous stones, while the toilet is a real gem, and the small private car park located in a lush citrus grove is wonderful. Ten out of ten.

06/12/2024: Ieri sera a cena, su consiglio di un mio carissimo amico, abbiamo avuto il piacere di degustare le prelibatezze di questa bellissima osteria. Ci hanno riservato la saletta , in un’atmosfera molto romantica abbiamo deciso di provare tutti gli antipasti che erano fantastici dal fritto al polpo passando per il dentice mantecato il tutto accompagnato da un’ottima bottiglia di bianco. Successivamente abbiamo poi proseguito con mezze maniche e cernia ed un secondo scegliendo il tonno scottato anche queste due portate veramente buonissime, il tonno delicatissimo, la cernia squisita ed il sugo di pomodoro che la accompagnava dolcissimo e molto saporito. Un’esperienza culinaria da rifare assolutamente accompagnata dalle precise e piacevoli descrizioni delle portate da parte della signora Penelope!! Danilo

07/01/2025: I went with my family for lunch. We chose the tasting menu at 30 euros per person. All the ingredients are top quality and cooked perfectly, plus the service is excellent and punctual as well as warm. I highly recommend it!!!
28/12/2024: Sono stata a la Cucina di Venere a pranzo per il mio compleanno. Ho notato subito la cortesia del gestore e la gentilezza dei camerieri, attentissimi alle esigenza dei clienti. Abbiamo preso 5 menu da 30 euro e devo dire che ci sono stati presentati piatti ricchi e freschissimi. Il ristorante si trova vicinissimo al porticciolo di Baia. Per il parcheggio, conviene vedere al porto o a circa 100 mt dal ristorante, c è un ampio parcheggio comunale. Sicuramente è stata una buona esperienza che ripeteremo a breve.
