15/07/2025: The atmosphere was very welcoming; I noticed the overall cleanliness of the interior and the well-kept garden outside. We had bruschetta and pizza, mostly local ingredients, all very good. The pizza was delicious, very light, truly delicious, worthy of being called Neapolitan pizza. The waiters were very kind, very knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. We will be back as promised.

12/09/2025: We arrived fairly early hoping to beat the evening rush, were given a table right away but it took ages for any of the waiting staff to acknowledge our presence. As far as l could see we were the only people dining at the time, there were a lot of staff on duty who obviously had better things to do.
When the food finally arrived, we ordered pizza, it was mediocre at best, probably one of the worst pizzas I've had in ltaly. The base reminiscent of cardboard, the tomato tasteless as was the mozzarella. The handful of raw mushrooms thrown on at the end had seen better days. Sigh.

09/07/2025: We celebrated our wedding at this restaurant, and everything was perfect, beyond our expectations. From the impeccable organization to the attentive and friendly service, every detail was taken care of with love and professionalism.
The food? Simply delicious; all our guests complimented us on the quality and presentation of the dishes.
The warm and elegant atmosphere made everything even more magical.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for helping make our special day unforgettable.
We will definitely return, but in the meantime... we will cherish every moment we spent here ❤️

02/09/2025: Quiet and welcoming location, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I highly recommend trying the sandwiches, especially the Dolce Alife, one of the specialties. The meatballs are also a specialty. The artisanal Kasamisu is excellent. Regardless of your choice, the menu is thoughtfully crafted and high-quality, with top-notch food.
A highly recommended experience!

05/09/2025: We were so hungry... and I had a lot of kids to feed. Luckily, the pizzeria was open. The service was fast, the staff was friendly, and the pizza, croquettes, and fries were excellent! Highly recommended! We'll be back soon!

29/09/2025: A very unique place, with medieval settings recreated inside, modern masonry decorated to look like it was from the era, and shields, helmets, and a clock on the walls, apparently made by the owners' father. They'll probably set up outdoor tables in the summer. We ate inside, also because it's located in the highest part of Piedimonte Matese, practically on the mountain. The view is truly breathtaking. Unfortunately, we can't say the same about the food we ate. The fried food was still raw and the fritters were overcooked. The pizza wasn't very nice, with sour tomato sauce and melted mozzarella, as if it were fondue. The dough wouldn't be bad if the other ingredients were of a higher quality. We haven't tried the restaurant, so we can't comment on the dishes and food, but based on what we ate, I don't think I'll return. It's a real shame because it's truly a unique place.

05/04/2025: Sono una cliente abbastanza abituale,scelgo di mangiare qui solo per rilassarmi qualche ora mentre i bambini giocano nel parco giochi..!ordino tagliere le quercete 25 € , 30fette di lonzato,6salsiccia,4 di formaggio di pecora e 4 di caciocavallo..!che dire... tutto GRASSO! 25 euro BUTTATi... era meglio un panino con la mortazza!
1 mese fa,polpettine con non ricordo cosa... esterne bollenti,dentro tanti pezzi ancora congelati!!

01/04/2025: Due to a series of circumstances, this is the second time I've been to Piedimonte in a month. For the second time, I have to wait for someone who is always late. After having made an unscrupulous and early barfly (11 in the morning), I can testify that in the charming town of Piedimonte, there is only one business that impressed me for its selection, depth, and variety of choices, but above all, its professionalism: ONLY Penza.
The girl who was on duty that morning was very kind and extremely professional and competent, but the real masterpiece was the owner, who made himself available to help me, since my phone had run out of battery and he's apparently the only one in the area with an iPhone charger ('Guys, it's €3, make this investment.').
But beyond giving credit to those who know how to do it, I must also point out a pleasant and "cozy" waiting environment.

03/09/2024: Mi dispiace dover scrivere questa recensione ma lo faccio nella speranza che il titolare provveda a una giusta soluzione. Mi riferisco precisamente al green garden di Alife ( elefantino) ragazze scorbutiche se ne salva solo una, una addirittura fuma la sigaretta elettronica mentre sistema la vetrina dei gelati non mi sembra proprio il caso e pulizia che lascia a desiderare, visto che per diverse volte ho trovato la stessa macchia di gelato sullo stesso tavolino....
